Tired. Back in the day, it was common for schoolboys to have to service their upperclassmen. After a hard night spent servicing the older boys, they would naturally be very tired in the morning, or "gayged out".

sorry what!?
That was when boarding schools were more prominent. Obviously at day-schools gays weren't the norm, since the boys weren't sleeping together in the same dorms.
It's derived from "flagging," or going limp from exhaustion.
The etymologies are probably related. I can see how those boys would go limp after all that gayging.

It doesn't, a decent scanner, at 300pp would make good enough images

Why? Just use what we already have
What did the captain mean by this?
Cigarrets?
You're a cigarette!

the movie?
hahaha
Not only do better scans exist, there's also a digital Moulinsart version.
There is a digital edition by Moulinsart but imo it looks awful, as does every printed version since they took over the rights.
Seems they are using dithered 256 colors PNG for digital.
Here is Tibet for comparisons sake:

is weird that so many great works are treated like dog shit in america
On the plus side you can buy a stack of the Atlantic-Little Brown editions of Tintin for pennies on the dollar.
Is this the one where the Captain almost commits suicide to save Tintin's life?
