I still can't believe that this little blob exposed so many NPCs. Fricking based.

this shit was reddit-tier of advice
To be fair, in a world filled with nearly 8 billion people in it, obviously not every is going to be "special"
It was but the backlash was extremely harsh for what was intentionally a joke comic. People were straight up calling for death
>People were straight up calling for death
Welcome to the internet, moron, people will call death threats for whatever dumb shit they feel like.
Even cringy videos on twitters get people sluring out death threats.
Yeah, honestly the idea of "online death threats" are pathetic
Unless the person is literally posting your address or is showing any actual proof they will, in fact, try to kill you, literally who the hell gives a frick? Oh boohoo, some moron halfway across the world said he'll kill me.
>People were straight up calling for death
Let's be real here, for the most part is was people posting stuff like this or saying have a nice day rather than actual death threats. I do think the response was over-the-top though.
This isn't even a nihilist argument, it's just saying that everyone should stop being self-centered hero complex pricks
Servers him right.
I didn't hate the guy who drew the shit I hate the homosexual that commissioned it he's a genuine fart huffer and that alone annoys me the book is ok
>my first nihilistic experience
it exposed you as well
qrd?

Basically, twitter users rushed to each other’s aid to defend the idea that everyone is special.
I should have known.
It's hard to judge since I haven't read it, but I don't even consider the message nihilist and doesn't depress me. People who believe to be super special are a plague and thanks to social media and the obsession with identities and labels literally every boring loser believes to be the most special of all.
Progress only happens when people recognize imperfection. The validation-addicts on twitter never get better at drawing since their consider their amateurish shit their special "style". You only get better if you have fun improving and admiring art that is better than yours and trying to learn from it.
what's the point of improving if you can't improve into becoming "special"
I work out and read because I want to be better than others
I distinguish between special and good. I enjoy improving because it makes me good/better. Depends on how you define special I guess, if they mean special as in rare then maybe, if they mean special as in unique best ever then it's stupid. To me special means that the whole person is special, like some avatar of god or something, not one out of millions that reached a certain level of proficiency for a subject. But again I haven't read the comic so I am probably missing context.
Yeah sounds believable. This is how they get mad at media other artists for being toxic or whatever too, out of context scenes or simply anger because something is getting more clicks than their stuff.
because self improvement is for you, in whatever way or goal you chose. Being "special" is totally abritrary with no standard definition. We are all unique, individual, and autonomous. We all matter. If someone what's to make that kid-friendly and dumb it down to "special", well that's just insulting to the audience.
Be you, frick labels.
>We are all unique, individual, and autonomous. We all matter.
the point of the comic was the average person is disposable and doesn't really matter. something like 90%+ of the people on this planet are absolutely unremarkable and not special. myself included. only a tiny fraction of people will even be remembered history wise. everyone else will be forgotten eventually.
Everyone's special to someone, everyone matters to someone. Claiming that we're all the same and interchangeable because we aren't Alexander The Great or Napoleon is stupid.
>Everyone's special to someone, everyone matters to someone.
wishful thinking.
Stupid nihilistic thinking.
>It's hard to judge since I haven't read it
Neither did twitter, they just saw the handful of pages posted as tweets and lost their shit.
More like npcs rushed in to defend the idea that nobody is special and that everybody's a loser like them and always will be. The comic itself is a cope for people trying to act like accepting their status as a loser is maturity rather than trying to pursue anything.
>you are good at neither
>i am good at both
now what, twitter baiter?
>You are not the only one good at both.
>You are not special
Moving goalposts, I win.
>you are not the only one who wins
>you are not unique
You're obsessed
winning an argument on the internet is like winning a gold medal at the special olympics. Be proud, but you're still a moron against morons in a containment zone.
You play math rock?
Never heard of it but if that image is anything to go by social media tards must have gotten a mental breakdown if any of them were reading it.
Not as funny as everyone mindlessly replying to that clip of the Mario movie without actually watching it to know it was edited to yell "BITCH" and "PENIS?!"
If nothing matters, why can't nihilists handle being made fun of?
I fricking knew someone would do this kek
the gar meme was kinda cool and generated a lot of neat stuff. the cartoonist I don't know so can't speak on it
I AM special
I AM unique
I will NOT listen to your moronic normalhomosexualry
Cope & Seethe
>image (23)
If I'm not special then why do I have special needs?
Because you’re moronic.
I don't understand what's wrong with not being the best in a field or pointing it out
some people's ego is way too big
Too bad the creator b***hed out like a real pussy instead of standing his ground about it, first insisting he genuinely meant it as a storybook for kids before copping out with a "It's just a joke bro don't cancel me uwu".
>accept nothing about me is special and i am average to below average in every conceivable way
>don't feel any better or a sense of contentment
i don't think this helps much guys.
Post the Mob Psycho version.
>thing points out in crude way how no one is special
>people fall for it and start making edits to cope they are special in some way
it's so funny millions of normie surgeons, engineers, workers etc actual useful members of society don't know about this shit existence meanwhile the internet autists try their hardest to justify how special they are with anime references and other autistic forms of coping
>wall of cope
no one cares about your gay nihilism
Thats kind of a moronic statement. Its such a basic idea that even pre-schoolers can understand it. Sure, not everything about you is unique, but the entire set of traits and characteristics that makes up "you" is. On the other hand, its also moronic to think that being different makes you better than everyone else.
>but the entire set of traits and characteristics that makes up "you" is.
says who. most people are stupid and boring.
Yeah, but they're different combinations of stupid and boring. Until we invent quantum cloning, no two people will be exactly alike.
Your confusing unique with special
What if you kill someone special?
Then you absorb their specialness.
Lincoln's killer ended up in the history books with this one action, so I guess you are right.
No, really. Complete nobody who could have been anyone here. Will be remembered as long as John Lennon is.
The problem is I am special, it's not in a way the world really cares about, I'll live a silent life in the eyes of media. Even many who meet me don't truly know me.
But those I touch I touch and in the end I'll be happy with what I did.
Or you could kill someone who killed someone special and be special that way.
So you may not be special or amazing, but you could die doing something especially amazingly moronic.
YOU GET WHAT YOU FRICKING DESERVE
I don't really get why people want to be remembered in the first place
Some kind of ego trip
They want to feel important.
I wish I wasn't "special".
then you'd just wish you weren't average and boring.
I'm talking more about the bad kind of "special".
Wrong. I'm special in the "disabled autist" and "wish i had the balls to die" way. Seethe.
Is this comic anything like the original Demotivational posters from so long ago?
