I saw what they were going for with the whole "freedom" from the mob life and how these mobsters can't deal with the regularness of average life, but christ was the Vito subplot so irrelevant and pure shit. Plus, the guy who played Vito wasn't an actor equipped with the skills for portraying that kind of heavy shit.
Vito was larping as a writer at this point and wouldn't give off any details about his personal life, so Johnny Cakes sees this guy as a mysterious intellectual stranger who also happens to be a teddy bear and is obviously harboring some kind of big secret outside of being obviously gay. It's not impossible to see why JC would be intrigued by Vito with that in mind
About. I remember normies watching the final season every episode going, "Ooooohh who's gonna get wacked next?!" I understand the middle finger ending in retrospect.
>create desensitised violent drama show >Chase is surprised and disgusted when he gets an audience of gore hounds that hate surrealism
Should've had Tony spare Fabian like HBO wanted.
>show is about how these people are horrible, they kill without a moment's hesitation, turn on their friends, abuse their families, hate their lives and everyone around them, and there is pretty much zero chance that any of them can change for the better >woah wtf do you mean you want to see them face justice? they're heckin people too!!!
Chase is a fricking moron for this mindset
Vitos non weight loss was pretty funny.
He never really lost any weight, they just bought him oversized trousers for that slimmers competition photo and talked about his weight loss. Fat frick waddled like Johnny Cakes had just finished pounding him a few minutes ago.
I like how the gay plot was additional filter for the non ironic Scarface fans.
>FIVE episodes in a row focusing on Vito when everyone knows he's gonna go back to Jersey and get killed
what the frick were they thinking?
filler
also johnny cakes actor killed himself like 2 years after sopranos was over or something
Sad. RIP

It was probably assbestos.
>shot himself in his apartment and everyone knew him as the gay guy from the sopranos

I don't get why this Chad alpha gay wanted an obese shitalian as his bottom.

Johnny was a feeder. He was practically shoving pancakes down Vito's throat.

I never understood the hype about who gets killed and assumed everyone was doomed because it's a mafia show. I'm more surprised at who survived.
the pilot but then it somehow unjumped it

this is the best performance by an extra ever
the black kids were good too
So he actually does have something wrong with his arms/hands. I just thought he was tensing up but it looks like they're underdeveloped or something
it’s a jersey thing you see it all the time there for some reason
I see your oh shit and raise you a stepped in it.
What did David Chase mean by this?
The gay Vito arc is kino and i am tired of pretending it wasn't
Ha! Italians are gays.
>I want you
No one else gonna comment on OPs Freudian slip?
Are we gonna do this the easy way, or the hard way?
AJ was the ultimate boomer fantasy for a good for nothing son to allow them the feel ok about hating their own children after failing to raise them.
