It's definitely a fad just like it, but Beanie Babies' decline came from the company making a massive blunder by announcing that they were going to stop making them, which gave people excuse to jump ship on a massive scale, rather than a regular decline. They quickly announced that they'd still continue making them but the damage was done, even though they're still making them today
>wasting time and resources making the chickens look realistic >when it would have been easier, faster and better-looking to make the chickens look like pic-related
I don't get modern South Park, artistically.
Jap figures just keep outperforming them with each passing year. I wouldn't be surprised if Pop-up Parade keeps getting more western properties as time goes on.
Can't wait for these to be phased out. theyre so fricking annoying and stupid. I hate their guts and wish they were alive, so they'd see us all collectively forget about them and throw them in the dumpster fire Toy Story 3 style.
They're relatively cheap to make and modify across franchises, which is important for casual toy collectors to have uniform figures across several franchises. Think Lego, but much more convenient for both the producer and collector
Well if the comics were good, this wouldn't need to happen
Gotta pay the rent somehow
excuse me but sources say and experts confirm comics are better than ever.
Thank you, snopes
zoomers don't remember beanie babies.
Its the same thing, just a larger package
Beanie Babies didn't last for this long. Beanie Babies were at least toys.
It is and isn't the same thing

>LCS is run by a 70 year old guy that owns the building and covers operating costs off of MTG players
Feels good.
can you really get hurt by playing MTG? I heard it's pretty hardcore

They are flaunting their success, and it's probably even easier to do.
yeah but they need to remember their roots, old south park had a simple charm to it
What's the point of these? Look so cheap and meaningless.
Somehow they manage to get licenses for a lot of different franchises

basically every comic book store is filled with this and/or mtg or wh40k to pay the bills
American Comics so goddamn shit, COMIC BOOK STORES has to sell MANGA AND FUNKO POP to stay in business. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
>AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
Weaboo schizoid detected.
So why are Funkos bad when Japanese collectibles aren't?
