I don't really want to go into detail about my drinking habits nowadays, but I'm glad I live in a country with very liberal laws where I can conveniently buy all my booze online because if I actually bought it in person cashiers would definitely notice by now even if I went to different stores. My dad is a high-functioning alcoholic, he is in his late 50s and drinks a considerable amount of alcohol every night. He never gets sick and has been told by doctors that he is very healthy for his age.
I think his routine was 3 beers to relax, 3 shots of whiskey to sleep (alternates with wine).
He doesn't drink through the day like in Druk but I'm sure that he'd always have a level of alcohol in his system and I can't see any significant downsides other than the cost of it all.
There could also be a genetic factor at play, my family have been heavy drinkers for generations. I don't drink much at all but I have a very high natural tolerance of alcohol

It's fine to cope with food if you are dry, but watch out for that sugar with the fruit juice in my opinion. I know alcohol has tons of sugar in it, even the reasonable kinds, but I would really recommend cutting out that juice almost entirely. If you want to frick with sugar, just do it with pure booze and nothing else, using a little bit of juice to chase liquor is fine though if you want to. But man, if you're going to be full sober, try to save yourself of that sugar intake.

I work in a factory as we shut for 8 weeks in the summer for shutdown, what can i say i just have a kino job
yeah even if they were little cans that's a fair bit every day, you're just gonna have to get through it and dry yourself out a bit, personally it doesn't work if I just cut down to a few beers a night, I either drink or I don't.

Got out of a nice hospital detox on Monday, heading to the best rehab in the state next week. In the meantime at my Moms cuz I know it's a safe place. Way too sick of relapsing, blacking out for 3-4 days and missing work. I don't even enjoy it anymore; I don't even get the chance. As soon as I take that first drink the next five days are a pathetic blur. Enjoy it while you can my friends.

Been an alcoholic (if that's even a word) since 14 years ago. I'd start with a few big glasses (not wine glasses) in the morning. Then I ended up on other liquors. 33 now and I get the shakes if I don't drink. It's not nice anons. Don't go down this path. I miss not being able to go a day without having to drink 3-5 bottles of wine a night just to cope with life. I used alcohol to cope but now it's forcing me to cope.
