Well have you ever watched it? I unironically loved it since it was released and have rewatched it many times. I sort of understand why some people don't "get" it, but at the same time I think a lot of the hate is just people piling on because they think they're supposed to. It's one of those movies that no matter how many times I watch it, it makes me laugh the whole way through.

It could have been, but the main character is too shitty when he's not doing a disguise and it makes most of the movie a slog.

There’s lots of movie references, fart jokes, sex jokes, funny voices, and slapstick. And of course costumes. Almost the epitome of juvenile humor so naturally Cinemaphile loves it.

It's not. I remember enjoying it when I was younger and so I bought a copy and rewatched it recently. It's not good. There are some funny jokes, and the general plot has potential, but the whole film really feels like they got as far as "Dana Carvey does weird characters" built a flimsy film around that and then the studio butchered it in the edit. Scenes just come and go, jokes get used over and over to the point where they stop being funny.
That being said if you wanna get a bunch of friends around, get drunk/stoned and laugh AT the film, you might enjoy it that way.

This is incorrect. Austin powers is hilarious and is widely regarded as such. Master of Disguise is one of the worst movies ever made. And I love Dana carvey. It’s on my list of all-time worst cinema right next to Tuck Everlasting.

    >theextra turtle scene with him puking out the cigars was funny
    >the scarface guy was funny
