Considering there's like two black chicks and one of them is lesbian and the other is just another victim to Marco and Star's "will they, won't they?", I'd say the only thing the show did to black girls is not include them.
maybe
there's almost no black girls in it. I only remember one school girl, Kelly and Brunzetta. And I don't even know if Kelly is one, she's just a brown alien.
They can become a springboard for further discussion.
What’s with this reflexive attitude towards youtubes? You’re in a board ostensibly to talk about comics and cartoons but as soon as you discuss outside the board, its persona non grata? Fricking stupid
To be fair Kelly got done extremely dirty. Marco broke up with her OFF screen and she literally has no personality to speak of. How would you even describe Kelly?
the show needs a reboot but a proper one, some sort of AU or AT where things went a different route.
to me kelly seems like the homely type of girl but also that will call you out on your bullshit.
maybe that's why marco left her since she called it out.
We need a show with the original concept which was basically Don Quixote but for little girls. All the magic characters can come back as human variants
I want them to try it that way but mixed with DnD and jumanji type of shit.
like how uncle grandpa just took a random kid on a adventure to learn a valuable lesson or something like that.
imagine them tripping balls and can't leave the game(aka mewni) until they finish the mission or when star gets tired and make them snap back to reality.
>Ours is being a terminally online chuuni.
so...let me get this straight.
they are trying a western version of SAO but "this time it'll be good I promise"?.

It's the opposite. I was talking about artistic commentary on a social phenomena. SAO is about glorifying that social phenomena.
Your reading compression is atrocious. You have no right to be mocking SAO or anything else if you can't even parse basic English.
>Marco broke up with her OFF screen
I think that was the biggest frick-up about it. Like, they dedicated an entire episode to showing how they had at least some form of chemistry, then break things off between episodes and move on. It was possible to show that the relationship was inevitably going to fail for some reason, at it almost felt hinted at in the sports episode, but they just threw their hands up and said "they broke up, okay!" and expected that to be sufficient.
At least it seems like Kelly got with a new guy and it seems to be alright from that fairly recent Nefcy art piece where they were at the beach.
The blacks will hate no matter what you do. No matter what you offer them. So why care about them? In a few decades most of them will be removed anyway preciously because they are such disguisting creatures.
This reminds me how polish mercenaries switched sides on the frogs when they were ordered to kill everybody in Haití, after hearing the locals sing La Marseillese when approaching a village.
A real life "are we the baddies?" Moment
Gonna have to look that up, sounds respectable of them. Reminds me of one ocassion in Colombia or Costa Rica, during the early 20th century, there was a large strike against the United Fruit Company so they decided to import strike breakers from the US and México but the strikebreakers ended up joining the strike after seeing the working conditions over there
It's so funny hearing african americans talk about light skins when they are cracker rape babies and always look down on authentic african culture, none of that Wakanda crap
I'm not saying that the video essayist is wrong but 1.) I don't think Kelly is black, as least in the traditional sense and 2.) SVTFOE is awful to pretty much everyone that wasn't strictly on the track of making Starco canon at all costs in the later seasons. Kelly wasn't important enough to be shown dating Marco after a certain point and SVTFOE having other relationships be a thing temporarily was just a way for Nefcy and Co. to "will they, won't they" for a few more months until basically making the inevitable happen at the very end.
If I had a nickel for every time a show sets their guy MC up with a black girl, for her to later be part of a failed relationship, while he moves onto the lighter skinned girl, I'd have 25 or 30 cents.
What the frick I love Star Vs. now??

That's definitely what they're complaining about. How dare you not have a black woman as a main character.
>Considering there's like two black chicks
>the show didn't include them
At least Foolduke got a happy ending.
And they got to double-team the clown. Janna probably watched it.
It's fruedian if I've ever seen it.
maybe

There was also Foolduke, who had an enemies-to-lovers thing with Ruberiot.
>Star vs The Forces of Evil is AWFUL
Any words beyond this is redundant information
Is this what this board has become? Constant shilling of YouTuber video essays?

if star vs. was on [as] or during netflix rise then everybody would love the show for being more sexy.
Kelly was pretty much the closest thing you were going to get to an FWB relationship on Disney Channel.
To be fair Kelly got done extremely dirty. Marco broke up with her OFF screen and she literally has no personality to speak of. How would you even describe Kelly?

Reminds me a bit of Amazing Digital Circus. Every generation has the themes their artists explore. Ours is being a terminally online chuuni.

Just make the Brazilian's Queens of Mewni canon.
If she got done extremely dirty then Hekapoo got hyper-mega-turbo thermonucleally fricked
That's just objectively fact.
>Marco broke up with her OFF screen

Afro-Saxon girls and Aztec BVLLs were made for each other.
spics don't like black people
>t. Argentinian

I guess you have 0 complaints about any white characters of course
Kelly is a bush, not a black woman.
Is it so hard to just say they do all the alternative love interests dirty in Star Vs?
>Nouveau
J'aime l'oignon frit à l'huile,
J'aime l'oignon car il est bon.
J'aime l'oignon frit à l'huile,
J'aime l'oignon, j'aime l'oignon.
Refrain:
Au pas camarades, au pas camarades,
Au pas, au pas, au pas,
Au pas camarades, au pas camarades,
Au pas, au pas, au pas

How is it that black women possesses some sort of undefeatable "black girl magic" yet still need the entire world to make things easier for them?
It's so funny hearing african americans talk about light skins when they are cracker rape babies and always look down on authentic african culture, none of that Wakanda crap
>harriyanna
What fricking moron of her parents decided to give her a moronic looking name
She's not even Black, OR HUMAN FOR THAT MATTER. OR FRICKING REAL.
I hate that they made them a thing just to immediately kill it off-screen, FRICK YOU NEFCY YOUR ENDING IS TRASH
Ah yes remember when Star called Kelly the n-word
She was black? I thought she was like a tree dating bush.

Name a few of them
