Albert Popwell. The black from Dirty Harry who plays a different character with a role that gets slightly bigger in each of the first 4 movies.

Popwell was the wounded bank robber at the receiving end of Eastwood's iconic "Do you feel lucky?" monologue from Dirty Harry (1971).[3] He was a murderous pimp in Magnum Force (1973),[2] appeared as militant Big Ed Mustapha in The Enforcer (1976)[2] and as Harry's detective colleague Horace King in Sudden Impact (1983).[1] In 1988, Popwell was offered a role in The Dead Pool, the last film in the series, but could not appear due to a scheduling conflict.

is "IMG_xxxx" a common filename or do I keep seeing the same anon on several boards?

Extremely uncommon, it must be the same guy. Theres no way in the world two people could have a filename like that.

This irks me but they’ve been tastefully silent on what fury road actually IS in relation to the other films and I’m fine with it.
You can tell yourself that he is a severely wounded Toecutter, decades later, and that Max is actually the feral child from Road Warrior: but it’s entirely speculative.
You can also just say that he’s still Max and it’s one of a series of adventures involving him and the Immortan is a completely different character played by a familiar face as a fun callback.

Another Bond one would be Maud Adams. She plays Scaramanga's mistress in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) and then the titular Octopussy in Octopussy (1983).

Before he became the Twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi played a character in the Tenth Doctor Who era and also another character in the DW-related show Torchwood. Before he became the Sixth Doctor, Colin Baker played a different character in the Fifth-era.

I love it when they do things like that. Star Trek TOS, TNG, DS9, and Voyager did a lot of that as well.

The Bond series has a bunch of these.
Shane Rimmer (the captain in TSWLM) was in several Bonds.
Mitchell (the MI6 turncoat in QOS that Bond kills in Italy) was also a henchman at the end of CR.

We get Gino the civilian and Vito the mobster. However, the Vito character really feels like 3 different characters throughout the show.

Vito the contractor who is connected to the mob. Vito the incompetent made guy. Vito the capable high-earning captain. Kind of boggles the mind.
