Well, yes, he is the director, he DIRECTS people. He doesnt do all the work, he directs people to do the work as he wishes. This I never gave a shit about Indiana Jones but the other day I watched the first one for the first time I instantly understood how fricking good it was and the reason why people suck his dick.
Imagine watching the old James Bond crap and then something like Indiana Jones comes. Other than the covenant effects at the end of the movie, the movie overall is like decades away from James Bond or even star wars films. It has nothing to envy modern action movies and arguably did the punch-joke-punch-joke marvel goyslop much better.
