Probably watched it a hundred times, switching off between the theatrical cut and extended cut. Definitely one of my favorite movies. Just perfect on so many levels.
Too bad PJ couldn’t have spun the same magic on the Hobbit. Guess you can’t win ‘me all.
Doesn't he fall down and one gets his legs? Their mouths are pretty wide and I'll guarantee they can rip limbs off with those teeth, r rated cut off this would have had that guys head pop off like a minifig
I loved it when I was younger, I didn’t mind it being long at all. Loved to just have it on in the background while I played or whatever, plus it added to the journey.
Yeah I think they only play the extended cut on TV now
I remember I used to comb YouTube for the behind the scene stuff back in the day as well. I’d also read the original screenplay which had Jack as a pilot in the beginning. I think they were gonna have him save Kong in the end by shooting down the other planes
It’s way too long but if you cut out the filler it’s pretty much a masterpiece, just as well-made as his Lord of the Rings trilogy. I really don’t know why it’s so overlooked
frick I remember I loved it so much, I looked through the tie in book a buncha times, but never bought it (was a kid and that shit was expensive). Looking it up now, the book's like hundreds lmao.

It’s cinema.
it's good. a bit long but it's good. it came with my first LCD TV I bought in like 2008. it has Kyle Chandler so that's a guarantee for kino
Loved the bold casting of Jack Black, too. That was risky but he was brilliant in it.
he was actually. played the relentless filmmaker role perfectly. probably his best performance
Jack Black is one of those actors who mostly fricks around but when they want to, they deliver solid performances, see kung fu Panda
It doesn't look like it's from 2005
does jurassic park look like it's from 1994? still the best CGI ever lol
It looks a bit dated, but it's JP so no one can frick with it.
Several scenes absolutely look like they're from 2005
the bug valley was crazy
Did this scene awaken a vore fetish for anyone else?
Absolute nightmare fuel that scene is.
the part where Adrien Brody is covered in massive crickets and screaming "GET THEM OFF ME" makes me feel like there are bugs crawling on me every time
In the theater at first I was like "Oh shit" but then I was like "How the frick is it swallowing his feet first?"

Last film I saw with my dad in Cinemas and a damn good send off I'd say
Fun movie. Skull island felt so mysterious and interesting, at least compared to the one with Brie Larson.
I hated that Skull island really wanted to make the natives non threatening. Seemed like they didn’t want to be marked as racist.
>Non-threatening
Did you watch the right film or is this bait?
I’m talking about the Bri Larson Kong
King: Skull Island
YES, I loved the wild, dangerous and mysterious Skull Island they created. One of the best movie settings ever.
The Brie Larson Kong wad just like some random Hawaiian Island. So lame.
The film is good, but the game is unironically peak ps2 era bliss
hell yes one of my favorite vidyas when i was younger
"two magazines on backup!!"
wish there were more fps games with that no-HUD style
So fricking long. Just watch the original. I don’t get the hype.

Have you seen the extended cut? Adds a few more kino action scenes.

>just make it 3 hours
>people will pretend it's good if you make it 3 hours
My feminist cousin who loves BLM is a big fan of this movie and hates the original.
