Something like that but even then it was just so outlandish. That is a thing that happened on several occasions though, Spenny would go into the production shed in the yard and demand to see daily’s even though for the sake of the show he wasn’t supposed to but he would use his credit as “director” (like he has been saying over and over in this thread) as leverage. Times when he suspected Kenny had been cheating he’d watch the footage and they would purposely film shit like that to frick with him.

I think it's simple - they let the competition play out normally, and if something funny happens and they didn't get the best shot of it or simply want a better version of what happened for a scene, they'll do a dramatization of it as their characters. When you're 5 seasons deep into a show with an established formula, you're gonna play into your character in any situation. They're actors, they've got a job to do. It's still entertaining, though.

I think it's simple - they let the competition play out normally, and if something funny happens and they didn't get the best shot of it or simply want a better version of what happened for a scene, they'll do a dramatization of it as their characters. When you're 5 seasons deep into a show with an established formula, you're gonna play into your character in any situation. They're actors, they've got a job to do. It's still entertaining, though.
