>lying... BAD!!!
>except lying actually good!
>but only when you're on our show lying to friends and other people that trust you for points!!! Don't you dare heckin' lie to strangers in real life, ok???????
British people have no loyalty.

Who are you quoting?
It's a line from the novelisation of season 6
only consistently good panel show 10+ years running
the guests don't matter when you have the same three hosts evey episode playing off each other.
It's the same reason why Top Gear works, it's just a vehicle for these three guys to argue with each other.
most of the guests barring a few obvious regulars like greg davies or mortimer are so fricking painfully unfunny it wouldnt have lasted a season without Mitchell and Mack
>British people have no loyalty.
True, but I don't really think it relates to this specific show. I do agree that they're all a bunch of backstabbers though.
>acting is.. LE BAD
autism
It’s more of its own special type of mental illness that seems to be explicitly caused by british television.
>British people have no loyalty.
Which brown country are you from that we kicked the shit out of?
>Who trust you
Covert Baskin Roberts thread and I'm all for it
>loyalty
lmao what the frick does that mean? like youre just repeating something you hear on tv, i have never in my entire life had the oppurtunity to display either loyalty or disloyalty, not to my friends, not to my family, what does loyalty look like in the real world? swearing fealty to your king? whos going around betraying people?how? in what way? whos life is that fricking dramatic? no i wont give up my friends location no matter how much you torture me! what?
I just want to let you know that I didn't read any of that. Good luck.
Like if you say something disrespectful to ur dad in public in front of a stranger that's disloyal
BBC fired Angus Deyton, host of the first two seasons, for telling the truth about jimmy savile.
This was the BBC being loyal to Jimmy Saville
It's a whole country of pedos, what were you expecting?

Rhod Gilbert
>exclusively plays a meta-game of telling the showrunners that the true stories are false and the false stories are true
I assume they don't come up with their own false stories
I always wonder how they get these anecdotes and how much time passes before they pick the guest and when they get some fitting stories.
I assume they submit their own anecdotes then the writers come up with fake ones. They'd be able to make the lies personal because most of the guests are well known in the circuit
It forces the guest to have to concoct lies on the spot, which leads to more ridiculous and funny moments.
That's fair. They have to be vague about it either way to throw off the opponents so it works fine. Kevin Bridges' story was the funniest one I've listened to though.
I'd say they do, they always seem to be well-suited to the person, in the right kind of voice. Maybe they have writers for the unfunny plebs they sometimes get as guests but I'd say the comedian guests write their own stories
They definitely don't come up with their own false stories. I remember once Lee got one that was logically impossible to be true and was so stupid he was visibly annoyed that he got such a shitty story from the writers
i don't like lee mack on this show
Why not?
That time that crazy b***h wanted to fight David Mitchell:

how empty does your life have to be to moralgay about a fricking comedy panel show
