Anglos got so embarrassed that a Hispanic made the best adaptation of their shitty franchise that they basically soft-cancelled Harry Potter afterwards with lower budget crap.
1,2, and 3 make the perfect trilogy. 4 feels like a tv movie by comparison and 6,7,8 are some of the most dull, sterile, boring, gray soup looking horsehit to ever be made
I watched the first two movies and really enjoyed them, but I'm consuming the following parts already in book form. Is it worth it to watch the rest of the adaptations after the 3rd movie after reading it?
You're right, they completely bungled the execution of Goblet of Fire after this and instead of making it a two vhs film made it too short and cut out way too much kino stuff and it felt super low budget in comparison to the first three, the tournament stuff at the end was so small compared to how big it should have been. Coincidentally Prisoner of Azkeban was my favorite of the books as well as a kid
Peak fantasy. Mogs every single tranime and the dogshit star wars prequels. Balances whimsy and darkness masterfully. Peak media:
SSS tier: >PoA
S Tier: >First two potter films >Game of Thrones
A tier: >GoF >KOTOR 2 (Vidya but idk) >Super natural >Death Note >Naruto up until the end of the Sasuke retrieval arc >Twilight

C tier: >SW OT >1997 Berserk >Fear and Hunger( also Vidya) >DBZ >Percy Jackson >Hunger Games >Owl House >Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss >Ghibli films >SW Prequels >Creepy pastas like SCP or Slender man
F-Tier: >FMA >Vampire Hunter D >My Hero Academia >Wednesday >MCU >DCEU >Hobbit Trilogy >Hunger Games >Divergent >DUNC >Evangelion >LOGH >Monster and other "deep" tranime
The pacing is terrible. The first half feels like nothing happens, then when Ron gets dragged off things start happening way too fast for the rest of the movie. It's especially awkward when Harry is about to kill Sirius, then the next scene he wants to go live with the unwashed hobo.
what the frick was the whole "Something wicked this way comes" branding for this thing? I remember when this movie came out hearing that line all the time, seeing it everywhere on all the advertising and products. And its just a little choir song they sing that has nothing to do with anything?
Also this is not the best film, but its also not the best book. the climax moment is like finding out that Ron's mouse is actually some dude in an abandoned shack? Rowling tried too hard on this one and the movie can't save what was already broken
Yeah this completely mogs all the others. Pirate skellies is the perfect amount of tasteful fantasy, versus the squid man kraken moronation that came later
I literally cannot think of anything else for 3 months after I watched PoA
>Magic is WAAACKY xD
Unless you grew up with these films and could appreciate the tonal shift it's unironically one of the worst ones.
>Magic is WAAACKY xD
did we watch the same film?

Typical chicano delusions brought on by inherent mental illness.
Is Israel winning, anglocuck?
jews are white shitskin, but you wouldn't understand judeo christian values
overrated
first two are better
did it? I still liked the 4th one better
1,2, and 3 make the perfect trilogy. 4 feels like a tv movie by comparison and 6,7,8 are some of the most dull, sterile, boring, gray soup looking horsehit to ever be made
5 is forgettable
>dull, sterile, boring, gray soup looking horsehit to ever be made
i bet you hate andor too
anyway, seethe and dilate zoomer
andor and post 4 potter films are zoomer/zillenial kino though
>zillenial
have a nice day
Being darker in tone doesnt make something better by default.

4's movie cut a frick ton of stuff from the books. You'll most likely be disappointed in the movies going forward after reading the books.
I'm pretty tolerant and can appreciate a ripped adaptation if it's good on its own
Then 4 is still a fun wizard adventure, 5-8 are very standard edgy YA movies with all the teenage love triangle drama you could ever want
3 is the best movie, 5 is the best book (and worst movie)
I don't really care for Harry Potter but have seen all the movies. This is the only one that I liked unironically.
I notice that Azkaban seems to form the basis for a lot of Top Tier HP fics.
> It's going to be a bumpy ride
They cut the grim but added this stupid MF
if you dont yell out kino for this entire scene im sorry but you are soulless
kino silly jamaican me crazy man heheh. classic.
it had the best Hermione too
KINOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

You still have much to learn, young padewan
this list sucks
GoT ontop? and you put all of the good shit in F?
This is some grade A bait or your most unfiltered dogshit opinion.
Good bait
Don't know why everyone praises this one as the best all the time. The pacing is totally off where the climax lasts literally half the movie.
Also one might wish it had killed the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchies etc. etc.
