>Mark Whitacre, an executive in Archer Daniels Midland, becomes a whistle-blower by exposing the illegal price fixing of the company, only for his life to come under increasing scrutiny by the FBI
This is a great one. A good one I saw a while ago was The Nest. Jude Law plays a guy who is constantly lying to his family about their finances and spending money they don't have.
Awkward or uncomfortable embarrassing scenes just trigger me and make me cringe and super anxious. I don't know why. I paused and skipped scenes a lot when I watch Frasier episodes sometimes entire episodes.
Those two posts are both me. I've come across mentions of Peep Show from time to time but never watched it. Thanks for the warning.

Here's the plot of one episode of Peep Show. Roommates Mark and Jez meet two women in a bar out in the country and get invited onto their canal boat. However when leaving the bar the accidentally run over the women's dog. They try to burn the body but it just gets kind of scorched. Later when they're on the canal boat Mark finds out Jez put the dead half roasted dog in his backpack so no one would find it. The women discover the dog and Jez tries to pretend it's actually roast turkey by taking a bite out of a leg and tries to get Mark to go along with it. I've only seen a few episodes because I get secondhand cringe.

Peep Show's great, watch it and enjoy how uncomfortable it is.
It interesting how he manipulates with weakness rather than strength. The part when he's crying and trying to guilt Peter Sarsgaard's character by implying he might kill himself is so stomach turning.
The scene in the classroom plays in my head literally every day of my life. That is the essence of the social media generation and its grandiose self delusion. A person sees himself as a brilliant teacher, but is speaking to an empty classroom.

great movie, probably the best performance of Damon's career
I love Hayden Christensen so much. He is extremely handsome hot.
Sounds like fun, I'll check it out. Like most of Cinemaphile I loved Nightcrawler. Matchstick Men is another one I was fond of.
le kino
Watching him panic as all his lies start getting revealed and just keep coming up with more bullshit was very entertaining
Scenes like that trigger me and make me cringe and very very anxious.
oh me too ive been in that exact situation thats why it was kinda interesting to watch
I haven't been in that situation. Embarrassing uncomfortable scenes just trigger my anxiety.
What have you guys been lying about?

All movies about the holocaust and all american ww2 movies set in the european war theatre.
Gattaca and The Talented Mr Ripley
Matt Damon and Ethan Hawke were relentlessly handsome.

SG is kino. Dear Evan Hansen is also great, the musical not the film. I always start panicking when they start being found out.
>SG
Stargate?
Shattered Glsss, the film in the op.
Oh.
Liar Liar, duh. Might not work without some nostalgia for prime Carrey though.
Liar Liar is a movie about a guy telling the truth, no points awarded.
