real answer, make sure you have the premium luxury lifestyle of a bottom bunk, hang a sheet down, go under your borrowed covers to muffle the noise of your foreskin retracting, and operate in stealth mode.

I lived in a hostel situation like this with two cute girls. I'd always make a point to sleep in tight-fitting underwear so they could see my morning wood. Sometimes I'd pretend to be asleep and watch them change. It was nice, I'd do it again.

        Anonymous

I imagine they either shut them down or everyone was in masks with hand sanitizer everywhere. I can't imagine though that any kind of health department would allow places like that to still operate under the pandemic. We all know what happened in retirement/old folks homes and those people would have individual rooms. So this must have been worse

Thing is, isnt that how we used to live? In a relatively small commune, 20-30 people, with not much of a "privacy", and, while alot more was in the open, it also meant that people were alot closer and familiar with one another

Yeah, except groups were families. It was the equivalent of living in a group house with your relatives/cousins/grandma/etc. That's not the same thing as a bunch of random cosmopolitans sharing a pod after they get off work at israelitegle in san fran.

          Anonymous

Sure thing. But still to say that communal living is pure evil, is a bit... off? Also, why do you think family cant be started in these circumstances EASIER, then if youd ever see other people at work/shop/gym? Because that is how it is for lots of people nowadays.

Again, why do you think it wont pave a way to actual families? At worst, theres gonna be some poly shit, that also leads to families, albeit not as functional.

Yes, but the difference was the untamed wildness all around that prevented any other form of living. As soon as we figured out it was nice to live otherwise we changed.

A cab diver in New York. A place like that would cost 5k today.

And he wasn't a "shitty" car driver. He had no problem stopping basically for anybody and going to more troublesome areas (like the Bronx). Not to mention he was a workaholic (12-14 hours daily for 6 or even 7 days a week) and had no issues working the graveyard shift. He said he earned $300-350 a week and "sometimes even more when l do it off the meter". If we take $350 as an average and calculate with 52 weeks that's $18,200 annually. I didn't do any thorough research but that's roughly +50% more than what the average Joe earned in the mid-70s' transportation business. (I used 1974 as that's where find relevant data from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis.) See pic rel why your 70k/year is nowhere close to what Travis earned as a "shitty cab driver", and that's not including several other factors like rent prices for apartments in New York.
