>inner city slop apartment
>comfy
????
there's nothing more comfy than being at the center of the civilized world, but completely isolated at the same time.
>look out window
>just see bunch of tall buildings
>see bunch of blacks on the street screaming and people driving loud cars
How is this comfy in any way?
you don't see the people on the street at that high, that's the point
Yeah the only thing you see are tall concrete buildings and a blocked sky because of a the pollution.
How is this again in any way comfy?
you wouldn't get it
Yeah because I'm not an inner city liberal cuck
It's Seattle in the 90s. There weren't any blacks.
its weird man. blacks have been in the US since the 1800s, and up to the 90s youd never see them in media. movie about high school? everyones white (or played by israelites who appear to be white). youtube video of a high school in 1999? everyones white.
but now, blacks are everywhere. and america is so much worse off because of it. theres no happiness anymore
>but now, blacks are everywhere.
This is not true at all. Sorry you live in a shithole.
Because you’re above it all. The contrast of your small, cozy apartment overlooking the bustling city makes you feel good. And the city below you also represents opportunity, adventure, excitement. Should you choose to leave your castle and mingle with it. You just wouldn't get it I guess
Oh so you're one of those people
Incredibly based
Gigantic pussies scared of their own shadow.
>no you’re crying
Absolute homosexual moron. Grew up in the comfy suburbs, spent my youth fricking around in the woods. I’m sorry you’re afraid of things that mostly exist in your head, but I’m sure dinner alone at Cracker Barrel every year on your birthday isn’t depressing at all.
You don't get it. America was built by people who wanted land and room to spread out. The only reason a city like New York exists is because of industrialization from cheap poor immigrants, 3rd world catholic scum like the Irish and Italians. Anglos have always valued sprawling country estates above all else. Privacy and land is a mark of the middle and upper class. Cities are for poor criminal scum. Only rich people in cities are those waiting to get out.

Press X to Doubt
Actually tragic how zoomers think it was always this way. Every netflix show they watch reinforces modern demographics in their minds so that they don't realize what happened starting just a few decades ago, much of it even within their own lifetime.
But it's the zoomers that LOVE big inner cities like this, what the frick are you smoking?
A zoomer would cry if he was taken outside the city
Most are not old enough to realize what life looks like in other places. None of them are old enough to know how life used to be. Many large cities used to actually be nice fun places to live, imagine that.
I'm sorry you got PTSD from taking a walk in the local park
>inner city
>view of the city
Seattle is like the antithesis of comfy. I spent 2 years there and it was dogshit, so happy to be gone.
>I spent 2 years there and it was dogshit, so happy to be gone.
yeh but where you rich while staying there.
Living in a slave pod surrounded by Black folk? No thanks

Would be extra comfy nowadays with online delivery services for everything
You'd never or hardly even have to leave or see people

Which one of them asked for a racing bucket seat?
Yoda
Looks to be Saesee Tinn. Figures, the guy's such a fighter jockey that he decided to have a pilot seat at work, too.
I bet anakin farted in mace's seat
heaven 🙁
Twin Peaks most definitely
I'd rather kill myself than work in an office for even just 5 seconds. I'd rather die than wear those homosexualy drab office clothes and call c**ts every hour trying to shill stupid bullshit like fricking paper. Imagine your whole adult life revolved around selling paper. You can do anything and you choose to waste it selling fricking paper like a dumb butthole.
Office work is actually pretty comfy if it's not a stressful environment and you have a few friendly coworkers to eat lunch with. I have fond memories of sitting in my chair after lunch feeling comfy and drifting off and then seeing the clock is suddenly at 3pm. I WFH now and it's infinitely better to avoid a commute, but sometimes I miss the quiet hum of an office, shitting in their bathrooms, slacking off/drinking coffee with other coworkers or booking a meeting room to myself to play games on my phone.
Sounds exactly like high-school for the most part.
Yeah but you get paid and it's easier to slack off believe it or not.
They make you go to school in order to condition you to the wagie lifestyle
I worked in a sales office for a few years in my early to mid 20s. First I knew I was gonna hate it because it was a few dozen loud 20-30 year old normalgays in an open concept floorplan. But I really needed the job. They started me next to this gigaprostitute who wouldn't stop either talking to me or to one of her friends that came over there to gossip. Leads I talked to on the phone regularly commented that it sounded like I was surrounded by women, because there would be like 6 girls loudly gossiping and cackling right next to me. But then after I moved seats and made a couple of buddies to go out drinking with after work, it became pretty comfy. Still see some people I met there 10 years later.
It's not even that bad. I'll tell you what's suicide-inducing hell on earth: working in factories. At least office drones aren't monitoring your breaks and lunches or even how long you took while taking a shit. And office drama isn't even a fraction of the absolute Jerry Springer trash that is factory drama.
You're there to work, not to take long shits outside of lunch break. What kind of person can't go eight hours without having to take a shit. I enjoy firing people like you, it makes my dick hard.
Easy
NO. MORE. BLIMPIES!

Twilight had pretty comfy settings but I can't find a good Twilight cinegrid, so here is this.

Silence snoy.
>pictures you can smell

You've lost your mind.
Couldn't find a good pic, but if you know, you know.
Oh I definitely know alright
Roseanne house. The living room couch looks peak comfy.
>The living room couch looks peak comfy.
>that episode where they moved it and the carpet was a completely different color underneath
>corporate hell with godawful fluorescent lighting for guaranteed constant headaches
Any other setting, homie
You must work in HR, your brain has been made in to goop
>he can’t separate set kino from real life
Sucks to be you
I can't find a good picture, surprisingly. Something about the bar being underground made it extra comfy.
Waking up every day to drive to a place that looks like The Office for years was the worst thing I did to myself
I wonder who actually shops there. There's always these scary looking old men sitting outside the store smoking cigars. I dont know if I want to go in.
When you see it, bricks will be shat
You can't even walk around the pool
How fat are you?
you're not even trying op
Good show, but there is absolutely nothing comfy about the setting, besides the food replicator.
lister's bedroom is pretty comfy. i was going to post the TNG enterprise too.
>TNG enterprise
We need more sci-fi where the interiors have carpets and wall paper imo. Minimalism is getting old now.
need to make that shit out of wood like outer wilds
Waaaay too much space.
Because the Stanley is real, I've been here and it is very comfy.
Redrum
That is what she said.
The Lighthouse from The Fog.
wait I seem to recall a wall behind pam's desk? (before she became a saleswoman)
>built a scale model Frasier set
>hundreds of hours, couple hundred bucks
>my in-laws trashed it by throwing it in a moving van unsecured next to a bunch of loose free weights
>never took any decent pictures of it, so don't even have pictures to look back on
baby I hear the blues a callin
imagine the smell
>tfw every time I see a nice living space/room in a living space I just think about how much of a hassle it will be to pack or throw away everything away when you inevitably move
>accordingly, all my apartment has is an office chair, my bed, and a shitty disposable nightstand
>no desk, no other furniture, no decorations besides two tiny dbz figures my friends got me
I've let myself get so embarrassingly cucked by life. I'll go through it uncomfortable and disassociated from my surroundings because I'm too obsessed with the impermanence of everything. 100% avoidable problem but im just too dumb and naive to address it. Don't worry bros! The real deal starts tomorrow! The previous 32 years were just practice!
This is anything but comfy. Let me give you a workday feel
>wake up early, very sleep, annoyed
>force self to shower, brush teeth, put on clothes
>still sleepy, clothes are kind of tight, dress shirt is poofy
>get in car and drive 25 minutes to work, still sleepy, hope I don’t hit a deer
>arrive in town, park, sigh and step out of car, walk a block to work, less sleepy
>enter office, smell of cheap shampoo, coffee, go to desk and nod to coworkers, have to make eye contact with bosses
>sit, log in, still kind of sleepy, read emails and hope the bosses aren’t dissatisfied by your work
>get to work, coworkers send team message, calls come in, busy time starts
>meeting before lunch, try to stay awake, bosses in meeting complaining and use buzzwords, your clothes are still tight because you are overweight
>exit meeting, go to lunch, order Taco Bell, spill sauce and shirt, have grease stain now
>go back to work, afternoon part of workday drags but is busy
>be in cubicles all day, it’s not completely like the movies make it seem, coworker interaction is minimal
>day is nearing the end, clock out on the spot at 5pm
>drive home, have a crappy dinner because you are alone and too exhausted to cook from scratch
>nap on couch, wake up at 8 or 9, evening is wasted
>go play on computer, get bored after an hour or so, go to bed
>repeat until the weekend
>do nothing on the weekend
>Sunday night is depressing because back to work on Monday.
It’s not fun
>your clothes are still tight because you are overweight
>exit meeting, go to lunch, order Taco Bell
>drive home, have a crappy dinner because you are alone and too exhausted to cook from scratch
>rest of post is about sleepiness, which encourages weight gain
Noticing a pattern here.
I feel you, but eating a healthy meal and getting a good nights sleep will make major improvements.
I know that sometimes is difficult to do, but that little time put aside to fix a healthy meal is totally worth it. You get faster at making it the more you do it, so if it takes you 2 hours at first it'll eventually take you like half an hour if you keep doing it.
Sleep I don't know, just may be worth to force yourself to stay awake until bedtime by keeping busy. And then do that every night for two weeks in a row to make it a habit.
Accurate other than the part where you’re busy throughout the day and not getting bothered on your off hours.
>have 45 minutes of work to do
>most of it can’t be done until you get some email reply
>have to look busy for 3.5 hours while doing nothing
>print off some bullshit that doesn’t matter
>stand by printer for 5 minutes
>pretend to go over papers for 30 minutes
>carry papers to recycle bin on far side of office because it’s a longer walk
>get 12 urgent (they aren’t) emails between 5 and 6 pm
>try to ignore them
>get text from boss asking you to look at emails at 6:05
My office workday
>wake up 7:45
>say bye to wife as she leaves
>make quick breakfast
>work starts at 8:30
>drink coffee and eat breakfast for first 30 minutes
>click KVM switch to change kb/mouse+monitor inputs to my work computer
>do a couple of visible tasks so that people know you're not just fricking off
>switch back to my own PC
>shitpost, watch youtube videos, do some light cleaning/tidying, maybe do a load of laundry
>get out meat from freezer for wife to cook for dinner
>switch back to read a few emails and do a couple more tasks, ensuring to follow them with visible emails
>switch back at 4 PM permanently, nobody cares about the last hour
It's easy when you WFH
lmao
Back in the 1990s I really wanted to get the entertainment center that Chandler and Joey had but never managed to find it.
Put remote back on docking station, Joey
