its weird man. blacks have been in the US since the 1800s, and up to the 90s youd never see them in media. movie about high school? everyones white (or played by israelites who appear to be white). youtube video of a high school in 1999? everyones white.

but now, blacks are everywhere. and america is so much worse off because of it. theres no happiness anymore

Because you’re above it all. The contrast of your small, cozy apartment overlooking the bustling city makes you feel good. And the city below you also represents opportunity, adventure, excitement. Should you choose to leave your castle and mingle with it. You just wouldn't get it I guess

You don't get it. America was built by people who wanted land and room to spread out. The only reason a city like New York exists is because of industrialization from cheap poor immigrants, 3rd world catholic scum like the Irish and Italians. Anglos have always valued sprawling country estates above all else. Privacy and land is a mark of the middle and upper class. Cities are for poor criminal scum. Only rich people in cities are those waiting to get out.

Actually tragic how zoomers think it was always this way. Every netflix show they watch reinforces modern demographics in their minds so that they don't realize what happened starting just a few decades ago, much of it even within their own lifetime.

Office work is actually pretty comfy if it's not a stressful environment and you have a few friendly coworkers to eat lunch with. I have fond memories of sitting in my chair after lunch feeling comfy and drifting off and then seeing the clock is suddenly at 3pm. I WFH now and it's infinitely better to avoid a commute, but sometimes I miss the quiet hum of an office, shitting in their bathrooms, slacking off/drinking coffee with other coworkers or booking a meeting room to myself to play games on my phone.

Sounds exactly like high-school for the most part.

I worked in a sales office for a few years in my early to mid 20s. First I knew I was gonna hate it because it was a few dozen loud 20-30 year old normalgays in an open concept floorplan. But I really needed the job. They started me next to this gigaprostitute who wouldn't stop either talking to me or to one of her friends that came over there to gossip. Leads I talked to on the phone regularly commented that it sounded like I was surrounded by women, because there would be like 6 girls loudly gossiping and cackling right next to me. But then after I moved seats and made a couple of buddies to go out drinking with after work, it became pretty comfy. Still see some people I met there 10 years later.

It's not even that bad. I'll tell you what's suicide-inducing hell on earth: working in factories. At least office drones aren't monitoring your breaks and lunches or even how long you took while taking a shit. And office drama isn't even a fraction of the absolute Jerry Springer trash that is factory drama.

This is anything but comfy. Let me give you a workday feel

    >wake up early, very sleep, annoyed
    >force self to shower, brush teeth, put on clothes
    >still sleepy, clothes are kind of tight, dress shirt is poofy
    >get in car and drive 25 minutes to work, still sleepy, hope I don’t hit a deer
    >arrive in town, park, sigh and step out of car, walk a block to work, less sleepy
    >enter office, smell of cheap shampoo, coffee, go to desk and nod to coworkers, have to make eye contact with bosses
    >sit, log in, still kind of sleepy, read emails and hope the bosses aren’t dissatisfied by your work
    >get to work, coworkers send team message, calls come in, busy time starts
    >meeting before lunch, try to stay awake, bosses in meeting complaining and use buzzwords, your clothes are still tight because you are overweight
    >exit meeting, go to lunch, order Taco Bell, spill sauce and shirt, have grease stain now
    >go back to work, afternoon part of workday drags but is busy
    >be in cubicles all day, it’s not completely like the movies make it seem, coworker interaction is minimal
    >day is nearing the end, clock out on the spot at 5pm
    >drive home, have a crappy dinner because you are alone and too exhausted to cook from scratch
    >nap on couch, wake up at 8 or 9, evening is wasted
    >go play on computer, get bored after an hour or so, go to bed
    >repeat until the weekend
    >do nothing on the weekend
    >Sunday night is depressing because back to work on Monday.

    It’s not fun

      >rest of post is about sleepiness, which encourages weight gain
      Noticing a pattern here.
I feel you, but eating a healthy meal and getting a good nights sleep will make major improvements.
I know that sometimes is difficult to do, but that little time put aside to fix a healthy meal is totally worth it. You get faster at making it the more you do it, so if it takes you 2 hours at first it'll eventually take you like half an hour if you keep doing it.
Sleep I don't know, just may be worth to force yourself to stay awake until bedtime by keeping busy. And then do that every night for two weeks in a row to make it a habit.
