What episode of American Dad is this?
1 billionth
>hanover not only breaks him free but also kills his lawyer, getting him out of legal fees
37 counts of rape!
The escalation from "generic space antihero" to "Oh and by the way this guy is a serial rapist" was...unexpected.
And people say westerners could never create a character like Rance!
>and one moving violation.
It was only one.
I always took it as the charges were ludicrously trumped up though he's still a rogue. There were possibly some rape by omission, shit where he lied about his identity, but neither 37 counts of it nor any violent taking.
Probably false acusations.

In a row?
He's got an angle.
WHAT ANGLE?!
Holy shit, it's Sooperman!
STEEEEEEEERN
Apparently this was more or less a 1:1 adaptation of Sternn's first issue, outside of him ejecting Fiste into space which he didn't do in the comic.
Him killing Hanover Fiste felt pretty random.
You could take it as Stern seeing Fiste as a liability. Fiste did his job, yes, but he also knew the truth, and could tell someone if he ever felt like it.
You sound like the next schmuck that Stern will take advantage of.
Yeah it's only in the cartoon where he gets rid of Fiste
Fiste shows up again in the Captain Sternn mini working with him
I like the fact that in the comic hanover and stern are friends
I like this art a lot.
It is quite nice at times, the whole first issue is here

What cartoon is this?
Heavy Metal
which version, the cartoon one or the dumb rotoscope one?
Oh yeah. That's the good shit.
This scene on youtube was my first exposure to the movie. when i heard start i knew i had to immediately watch it
I don't see how this one really showed off it's great evil power compared to everything else.
Here's a better version....

!!!FACT!!!
>listening to this while scrolling down the board https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJWXbtTBZ2I
>the "Not guilty" line plays just as a I read this and perfectly aligns with my inner monologue
Fricking nice.
Reminder that Fiste is voiced by Roger Bumpass
Wasnt that also like his first VA role too?
HANGIN'S TOO GOOD FOR 'IM!
BURNIN'S TOO GOOD FOR HIM!
HE SHOULD BE CUT INTO ITSY BITSY PIECES, AND BURIED ALIVE!
>tfw you were introduced to Stern via a goofy walk-through of Wizardy before actually watching Heavy Metal
I miss the weirdness of the pre-centralized internet sometimes.
>LP Archive
My man. God, do I miss the early days of the internet, that was some of the best disorganized shit this side of the globe
Oh man that takes me back. That was a goofy read.
Shit now I have to re read that.
What was the comic book series like? I heard some fans complain that Sternn killing Hanover Fiste was OoC for him.
Also:
>tfw you realize that Hanover Fiste is Squidward
Ive only read some of the comics from story times here but yes, hanover was sterns pal and it was OOC for him to kill him. Thats like the only major change from the OG comic because theyre partners in it and he actually does pay him afterwards
>(Not) Guilty
>(Double) Guilty instead
>monologs into kwab'ing himself
So is locnar like a lich, sauron, the anti monitor?
Also god i wanna break that collar so bad.
I don't think they knew how to end the movie so they said "AND THEN HE BLOWS UP THE END"
Her on her tip toes made me hard
Her face looks like she walked in on her dad jacking it
A man of culture.
>Let me show you my influence and power!
>20 minutes of 2 stoner aliens getting married to some israelite girl and regreting it.
what did he mean by this?
Of what
he ran a good preschoolers prostitute ring you gotta admit
He's nothing if not a professional.
I'm a frequent customer. They comp me all the time.
canonically he is innocent. The follow up comic book clearly shows him as not guilty
Who set him up?
It was those damn school girls.
A cola company which is using a time travel gate to harvest an extinct fruit from dinosaur times as their secret flavor. The extinct fruit causes zombie-ism though, so Earth is getting full of zombies (who don't do anything but are really annoying and get in the way)
I watched this film in a theater today. I brought my dad and he hated all the nudity in it
Have any of you seen Heavy Metal 2? It's remarkably bad
I've also tried playing the game based on HM2 but can't get it to work for the life of me
Yeah
It was weird
I have the mental image of the villain in his terrible CGI robot form running towards the screen at the end of the film burned into my memory
Its such a piece of fricking shit
HOW DO YOU LOSE A 6 FOOT b***h WITH A TALKING ROCK?!!!!!!
>game based on HM2
Huh? First time I've heard of this
Its called Heavy Metal F.A.A.K. and it doesn't look completely atrocious but like I said I cant play it
I have not heard of those. How bad are they?
that 6 titty stripper though
I'm in the minority in that I kinda like HM2. Its heavily flawed and not as good as the first but I still enjoy it
Reach Out was the best song in that movie
That'd be veterans of the psychic wars but Reach Out and Heavy Metal are both high tier
If you listen to fools this is correct but you're forgetting that Sabbath was there too.
for some reason this has reminded me of some specific ~30 second youtube animation
I have spent the past 2 hours trying to look for it
there was some strange European commercial in like the 90's, and the guy singing the jingle really put his soul into it
so someone animated the commercial
>guy is sitting on toilet
>someone is looking at him through window
>guy in window starts singing (this is the commercial song)
>guy crawls through window
>powerful singing gives himself a powerup, like handover fist
>grabs sword made out of lightning from the sky
>guy on toilet dies somehow
>calm commercial voice explains whatever product
this video has some hypnotic quality, and its driving me crazy that i cant find it
Anon delivers
i can rest peacefully now
I love that video and i love how weird euro animation can be
I like how people thought in Ready Player One people thought that Sorrento's avatar was Superman when it was actually Captain Stern from Heavy Metal!!!FACT!!!
