      >should
No. NDErs say that we can live these lives however we want. There are no musts because everyone goes to heaven unconditionally when they die.

And NDEs are more real than this world, in every way. For example, they are more consistent experiences, illustrated well by this quote:

      >"For me, life is sort of like the haunted house. When you come in, you know it's just an experience. It's small, it's just one night, right? So it's just this one life. You're eternal, you have billions of lives, so knowing that you're going to come in just for one to have an experience, though it may be judged as tough, or difficult, or scary, you actually chose it because you knew it was just going to be an experience, you know it's no big deal. You understand on the other side that this part, life, is actually the dream, and you just wake up after. It's no different than one dream you had last night, out of a lifetime of dreams. This life that you're having right now is just one, it's just a blip."

So just like life is more consistent than our dreams (dreams last a few moments, life has been the same for decades), so too is the NDE reality more consistent than life (life has been the same for decades, the NDE reality has been the same for forever, for way more than trillions of years). Here this point is elaborated more on:

And it is instantly evident to NDErs that heaven is real too, even atheists:

      >"It's real to us when we're in it, but once I was there in heaven I realized that's more real, that felt more real, and it made much more sense to me than anything here. This is kind of nonsensical at times. In heaven, it's so clear, so real, so rational, so logical, but yet emotional and loving at the same time. Immediately I knew that was real and this was not. Immediately."

      From https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/mysteries-consciousness/202204/does-afterlife-obviously-exist

      So heaven is undeniably real.

        Anonymous

The implications an unconditional heaven would have for society are pretty dire. The classic "but if you're an atheist why don't you just fricking murder someone because there are no consequences anyways" argument would instantly apply to everyone. What would keep anyone from doing evil if they'd be guaranteed a good afterlife regardless?

some people ended up absolutely nowhere for the first 25 years of their lives being junkie dropouts who never worked, and then turn their whole life around. if you make efforts and goals and keep an open mind you can live multiple lives, dont ever let pedophilic israelites take away the transformations you can have by believing their bullshit about genetic depression and genetic social skills and taking dick-killer pills to escape bad thoughts. people who have it all but without the necessary suffering, are not happy, they are just degenerate.

He's right in that Rust needs somebody to stabilise him but he's wrong in thinking that just having a family would accomplish that. They even show that when Rust does start dating that woman but ultimately it falls apart and he doesn't even care that much.

Pretty much, to be honest. Some people don't have the social ability to get a partner without paying for it. What's so bad about that? It's a mutual agreement. There should be a properly regulated brothel on every street corner too, just in case you're in the mood.

Marrying someone doesn’t automatically mean they love or even like you. Imagine having to take care of someone that actively hates you and will leave as soon as she cements her citizenship and steals enough of your money.

There’s a reason that India is the rape capital of the entire world, that’s what happens when you’re raised to think women are objects you possess. It’s all about context my street shitting banchod.

not everyone wants love out of a relationship. My wife and I entered into a partnership to raise kids together (out of obligation to our parents). Outside of fostering a healthy environment for them, we're pretty much independent of each other.

That's basically how my parents were. Now that me and my siblings are adults they can't even be in the same room for 10 minutes without yelling arguments and live apart. My siblings left town so I have to deal with this for 20 years as they are entering retirement age without much savings at all

Brothels are dead. They were already dying and then covid killed them. Sex work is completely legal and regulated in my country and now that they can do it from their own home, as well as verify people's identity and details online prior to meeting them, there's absolutely no need for a house which takes a cut. They still exist here but they're all full of fresh off the boat Chinese that can barely speak English and they're way rarer than they used to be.

          >Brothels are dead.
No they aren't. Just the business is changing along with everything else in society. Had a friend who had to run one for a few weeks to collect a legitimate business debt. It made a fricking shit ton of money an the only thing that stopped him from buying in when offered was the stigma that running sex workers has with his other business networks. As much as it is "completely legal" it is still at the fringes and you still have to deal with a lot of criminals trying to get the worker for nefarious shit (a big one is stopping them from selling cocaine). That brothel wasn't chinks it was a mix of backpackers and failed models. Having the house taking a cut makes it very easy as the location, marketing and security is taken care of for them - a lot of girls who freelance also work part time in the brothels when they need something steady while they relocate or restart after a break.

6 years ago I was made redundant from my job and got a year's salary as a payout. I thought I would use that time to make a fresh start with my life and yet I did absolutely nothing for an entire year. I just treaded water as a neet until the money ran out and then got another shitty job I hated. I don't deserve a better life. I had every chance to actually do something different and I yet I chose not to. If I do make anything with my life with complete freedom and a financial headstart then I never will. Things won't ever get better and I'm the reason why.

I went through a boxing phase that lasted a year and a half and got mega shredded but on the big scheme of life I was the same person inside later.
Just because you take a 2 weeks vacation trip to New Zeland and do completely different shit, when the ride is over and you fall back to "normal" you'll realize looking back that it was a big slope but the rollercoaster is the same.
Some people do make a complete 360, but it's fringe cases like that dude from that movie that from a rich family became a hippie and died eating poisonous plants.

i'm the guy you replied to, its funny because one of the things i did was start muay thai, which i've been doing for over 3 years now and still do, i never went on vacation either, i understand what you mean, but in the long term i disagree, if i didnt take any of these steps my life would end with me killing myself without basically experiencing anything, its a gradual process to transform, you simply suffer from depression and need to stay just at the right amount of discomfort for a long time to change your life. your post is basically just saying that no change whatsoever is valid, you didn't set any actual standards or anything, thats just how you feel, and you shouldnt even think about that, just change your life the way you want it to be.
you will probably always have a daily routine that you get "stuck" in, but you can seek out novelty if thats what you want, and your routine doesnt have to be mundane suffering.

i forgot to emphasize, i also feel the same way about getting Cinemaphile and all that being a waste because i dont "use" it, but i am using it in how i'm changing my life altogether, my identity and mind changed, i don't get girls or anything like that yet, but thats just another goal you can seek out. which is what i'm doing right now, i stopped being a bugman and now i'm setting my mind on socialization and getting back into trying to make it financially, even though i'm at square one with all of these, i didn't even have those quests unlocked a few years ago, but now i have the tools and everything.
1.5 year of boxing is also not that much dude, it is a big thing to start since its too intimidating for 99% of normies to even start and you seem to acknowledge that, just get back on it and aim to simply be consistent with it, you don't have to do fights or have goals in it, even training once a week will have an impact on who you are and what your life is.

clearly you understand your problem, so make an attempt to change it?
people have routines, no shit, humans are adaptive and you basically start making little chemicals that make you slowly content doing whatever you do to survive in your environment, if you want to feel then you need to get out and break some patterns.

Lmao you morons know census data has existed since Rome right? You can literally look back and see what age people were married and with what income brackets. You tards have been convinced that the norm is to be married at like 20 but truth is the historic average is like 25-27 with 30+ not being uncommon. In particular you see during depressions and recessions the marriage age increases with 20-24 average happing in economic booms like post ww2.
Point being it’s only to late if you decide it’s to late.

I am 43 and have no family

I am slightly autistic and just have weird vibe that makes women feel repulsed. I also have no body language and can't read one.
Additionally I lack any religious feelings and have no reproductive desires.
I do have extreme libido though, just no feelings regarding having offspring.
When I was young inability to have sexual intercourse with women almost drove me to suicide, so I started to use prostitutes.
So far I fricked around 150 women(95% prostitutes), 300 ladyboys/shemales and around 5 guys(wanted to check if I am gay, but sex was unenjoyable).
The reason I frick ladyboys is that even female prostitutes sense you are autistic and start ridiculing you or having contempt.
I spend all my money on travels to SEA and rarely buy clothes or personal items.
For a while I managed to frick normal women by studying human behaviour and pretending to be a busy business man with little time but it was too exhausting in the long term and I was unhappy with the ratio of effort/results.

I usually frick the same person only once, and I am not attracted to the person afterwards.
If I like a woman or ladyboy I am no longer attracted sexually to them.

        Ladyboys and trans.
Women aren't good at sex unless they get excited, which happens very rarely, guys lack sensuality. Trans girls often are both horny and sensual.

Girls are moronic and have double standards, you can't expect them to act sensibly
Also I'm so not used to being touched that if someone ran their fingers through my hair from behind me I'd most likely elbow jab them by instinct alone or worse

              Anonymous

A girl touching a guy is different than a guy touching a girl. When girls like guys they can touch the guy's chest, touch his hair, etc. But if you're a guy you never do that to a girl unless you've been dating for a while. Holding hands for a girl is also a lot more intimate than touching your hair. That said, splitting the bill and holding hands too early are faux pas but really shouldn't be deal breakers if she likes you. It might have been something else.

Yeah, I try not to think about it, but it's pretty hard when your life just reset from a divorce (I've basically been homeless for a year, thank god for good friends).
You're in your mid 30s, your friends all have kids between 2 and 6, so even if you have a kid now or a year from now, your friends children are too old, and when your children get to their age THEY are staring fricking middle-school, and when your kid is a late teenager YOU are fricking 50.

    [...]

    Objectively?
Yes. Security in old age, if you do it right.
As your parents get older you’ll see a lot of their single friends start getting desperate and getting married in a rush to virtual strangers because they don’t want to die alone. But even that and a bunch of savings doesn’t protect them from the inevitable situation of being old, alone, and increasingly senile: unable to financially or physically care for yourself and burning through the little money you have left on care services and hospital bills, until the state finally declares you unfit to handle yourself and you get stuck in a home that’s basically a glorified coffin for people who didn’t want kids or didn’t care to instill any values in them.

      Anonymous

Thats not really a viable option even if you have good kids with good values because they will have their own family and responsibilities by then and they can't/won't put their life on hold for however many years just to care for their parents, it just isn't realistic.

it's pretty rough out there and such a naive question made me think you didn't even glance at the extent of such thing, the market, the competition, the breadth of the domain itself.

i don't want to discourage you, i think the transition is possible, i've seen it before. if you have engineering/applied sciences credentials 6 months is enough to land an entry level codemonkeying job. otherwise i'd say 2 years, workshops, volunteering in non-profit projects, to get something in your resume. don't get scammed by a bootcamp.

Honestly I don't get why everyone doesn't have a kid first chance they get. If you look online for people who say they regret having kids, everyone who for one reason or another "regrets" it also says it's the best decision they ever made and they wouldn't change it for the world.
