I mean he's fine. Just that about 50% of his movies are kind of shit (not through his own fault), and he should've gotten the courtesy of getting a good one to go out with
Brosnan embodied the role in the cultural sense better than anybody. He's still the face of Bond in the public conscious 20 years later and for sure Cinemaphile's Bond.
For me he just has the best face. Like a bird of prey. Simultaneously sells the suaveness, intelligence and cold-blooded ruthlessness. I think his movies were pretty good too, not an absolute pinnacle of the franchise but solid entries.
it's a movie for warmblooded heterosexual males who want their red meat in media which is guns, babes, actions, cool stuff. not gay shit like le realism. that's an oxymoron anyway.
Connery = Brosnan > power gap> the rest
True. Dalton is good but for me, he had this aristocratic face. He was way too likeable and good natured to sell it. That's my opinion. He looks like a King Arthur, someone pure and good. Brosnan and Connery nail who James Bond really is. Ruthless rogue hero who saves the day as reward for pussy, drinks and excitement.

>good one to go out with
DAD was the biggest Bond movie of all time and the biggest of the year. Stop believing false narratives.
I know it's an unpopular opinion and I'm not trying to farm "you's" but I enjoyed spectre and nttd the most of the craig era films. I hated the "gritty, grounded, british Jason Bourne" style of the other craig movies. I want gadget cars and world ending stakes in my Bond movies.
I think all his movies are incredibly entertaining affairs but they were all a few steps away from being truly great. Plus, I think his era is tainted by female 'M' and the fact he has to answer to a woman. Proto-wokeness creeping in.
A woman can still hold very well into herself between 30 and 40, if she puts up the effort (healthy lifestyle, takes care of her skin, etc) and of course has the genes.
Connery's movies are solid for the most part. OHMSS is a good film. Dalton films were refreshing after Moore 's run. Brosnan had it, but the quality of the films kept dropping. Moore was a safe choice, but the bulk of the films are pretty dull. Craig is Craig.
no
connery > dalton > brosnan > moore >>> craig > lazenby
no
connery > dalton > craig > moore >>> brosnan > lazenby
no
chuck's > feed > suck > seed >>> sneed's > frick
no
dalton > connery > moore > brosnan >>> lazenby > craig
It seems BrosnanGOD superiority has caused controversy. As per usual.

My personal favorite Bond yess.
Maybe because goldeneye was my first bond movie. My all time favorite bond movie tho is goldfinger
Brosnan embodied the role in the cultural sense better than anybody. He's still the face of Bond in the public conscious 20 years later and for sure Cinemaphile's Bond.
this although i like Connery's better Bronson fit the part better
I just rewatched TWINE last weekend, him and soph have amazing chemistry.
True and it's based how Bond cucked Begbie.
> ah ye all ken meh, yeh knoo ah’m blaggin’ a fockin nyeucleah sub-marin and shite
I'll never understand Daltongays
Elaborate.

>For me he just has the best face.
I watched Die Another Day last night. Frick the haters, it's a kino Bond movie.

Based. DAD was the first Bond film I watched as a kid and it’s always been a fun movie. The intro with the hover crafts is top tier kink
Kino
ITT: zoomers pretending to be millennials.
Where'd you get that idea?

dad is abject trash but it's likeable trash, unlike spectre and nttd

DAD had Halle Berry just off of Swordfish.
Connery = Brosnan > power gap> the rest
I concur
I'm a late 90's zoomer so Brosnan is MY BOND
Not quite:
Moore > Connery = Brosnan > Dalton > Lazenby >>> Craig
He got the hottest chicks for sure
Well he was at least the best dressed Bond.
Brosnan was the best bond, they just unfortunately put him in shitty movies which is why he's rated lower than he should.
I think all his movies are incredibly entertaining affairs but they were all a few steps away from being truly great. Plus, I think his era is tainted by female 'M' and the fact he has to answer to a woman. Proto-wokeness creeping in.
Goldeneye is the best Bond movie, also has the best video game.
and best trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN1bkIEs8oo
Connery in the first three films > Connery in the last three films = Brosnan = Lazenby > Dalton > Moore = Craig
Connery > Myers > the order of your choice > Lazenby > Craig
Brosnan had some nice Bond girls.
Can't believe Sophie was in her mid 30s in that. She looked damned good.
A woman can still hold very well into herself between 30 and 40, if she puts up the effort (healthy lifestyle, takes care of her skin, etc) and of course has the genes.
elektra is an incredible character, bond should have used femme fatales more - xenia, vesper, elektra are all gold
Is it worth it to start watching James Bond? Which film should I start with? I've never watched a single one.
Connery>Lazenby>Dalton>Brosnan>Moore>Craig
Connery's movies are solid for the most part. OHMSS is a good film. Dalton films were refreshing after Moore 's run. Brosnan had it, but the quality of the films kept dropping. Moore was a safe choice, but the bulk of the films are pretty dull. Craig is Craig.
yes
brosnan ≥ connery > dalton = moore > lazenby >>> graig
brosnan is easily the best bond
then connery then dalton, all others suck
Brosnan gets disqualified for being Irish.
