That's so fricking moronic. There's a rule because they compress at different rates and the juncture between them becomes a massive weak point as the carbon fibre tries to compress before the titanium what an actual slug brained fricking moron. Jesus fricking christ good riddance.
Most ships didn't have that many water tight compartments. It sunk because of poor understanding of the ships surroundings.
The SS Califronia literally said "icefield ahead" and the wireless operator on the titanic shouted SHUT UP because he was being bombarded with other messages.
The Olympic destroyed pretty much every ship it decided to wreck into. They just didn't account for this one specific case of sideswiping an iceberg because they probably didn't think the captain would be moronic enough to maintain full speed at night with zero visibility in an ice field.
All I'm saying is, if I would have built the ship that night would have gone down differently
>be me >1912 >know how to send telegrams >start spamming Black person and israelite to the new fancy ships communication officer >sending so many that he starts sperging >ignores an ice field warning and the fricking ship sinks

Bear in mind it's only in 3 parts the main hull all comes complete according to their website, which I guess is authentic
on which note
https://www.specialhobby.eu/titan-world-famous-research-and-tourist-submarine-1-72
the scalemates entry has been there a while but it wasn't on the special hobby website until I guess just recently, I was starting to wonder if it might have been fake
Basically would’ve been all of their remains shooting out in one big cloud. Not even just blood, bits of flesh and tissue and bone given the extreme pressure.
I am beyond fascinated with this submarine implosion, still. I would pay $1000 to read a transcript of their final moments, from what I understand they could hear the carbon fiber hull delaminating since they tried to rise to the surface before the end. Sick shit.

Why would you ever ask this question here. Nobody here fricking knew anything about submarine design before they read that shit in the news. Just go read the news.
Ugh just reminded me of that scene in one of the early Daniel Craig James Bond movies where the woman has a little bomb in her brain and it sets off and she just immediately snaps to this horrible scrambled brain face. Shit fricked me up
Yep. At those pressures, the air in the sub reached sun-temperature during the crushing. Wouldn't be surprised if a little bit of fusion or fission happened.
I finally realised how you can make a movie about that. Make an actual copy of that sub, put highly realistic mannequins with guts and blood and all that inside, put it underwater and film the implosion both from inside ans outside. That would be kino.
Iron Lung seems like a neat concept for a movie. I wish they adapted it and maybe Dusk with real actor like Nic Cage for cringekino. With someone like Markieplier, it will be just cringe.
DONCAMATIC
Loved that song so much I went to see if he had other songs I'd like. He did not, not a single one.
Very insulting that such a beautiful well-built White Star Line ship has to lie next to this piece of shit.
It looked like they retrieved most of it from the sea floor.

i wish he survived
to live with the guilt
he forgot to increase the pressure from the interior, its like a baloon it can only float if it has equal pressure to stop the hull from shattering
>Well built
>Gets heemd by the first iceberg it meets
Yeah, no.

you know they had a good laugh on the telegram that night

might be a bit fiddly but oh well

oh n-
dude smoothie
I would've just dodged all the debris then swam to the surface.
But I'm built different, so I wouldn't expect any of you guys to understand.
are they ok?
They'll be alright
real one
>real one
>filmed on a camcorder from 1985
Hey they cheaped out everywhere else like on that logitech garbage instead of a good strong wiiu pro controller
*HAL9000, enhance!*
>literal stream of blood shooting out
Fricking brutal
Basically would’ve been all of their remains shooting out in one big cloud. Not even just blood, bits of flesh and tissue and bone given the extreme pressure.
Instantly cooked, too. Horrifying but painless.
I am beyond fascinated with this submarine implosion, still. I would pay $1000 to read a transcript of their final moments, from what I understand they could hear the carbon fiber hull delaminating since they tried to rise to the surface before the end. Sick shit.
Nah, definitely not. They'd hear creaking and shit anyway just because rigid materials do make noise when compressing.
The moment an actual fault occurred it'd basically be over. They would never have known there was an issue before it claimed their lives.
>logo stays intact
legend
Dick status?
Plap plap plap get imploded
We need more bold capitains of capitalism.
So why did it implode?
hybris
Fricking ESL.
Eh, hybris is an accepted spelling and debatably more accurate to Ancient Greek.
Jews
nerve gas
vax
Dagon but these other Black folk sleeping.
I seem to recall him dismissing the advice of "uninspiring old white men" in favor of a younger, more diverse crowd.
His one folly

Except criminal regulations.

yeah maybe the non cameron-chads, fricking pleb
Less than 20 milliseconds is pretty short sharp "PLOP" It's more like a hellishly shattering "Click".
Ugh just reminded me of that scene in one of the early Daniel Craig James Bond movies where the woman has a little bomb in her brain and it sets off and she just immediately snaps to this horrible scrambled brain face. Shit fricked me up
You’re thinking of mission impossible 3
That's mission impossible btw.
Never saw all of the bond movies though.
Can’t spell titanic without TITAN
There's a difference between ESL and "Y" and "U" being right next to each other on the keyboard so fat b***hes with fat fingers accidentally mistype.
shyt yp
Okay, can anyone find anything alarming in this?
>discount boeing fiber
lmao
Why always them?
>*Tool starts playing
Why was he so calm bros
>me being bombarded by sensory stimuli as a neurodivergent autistic
wait, so if you squish me hard enough, I'll explode into fire?!
Yep. At those pressures, the air in the sub reached sun-temperature during the crushing. Wouldn't be surprised if a little bit of fusion or fission happened.
Attack on Titanic

The memory cards of the cameras would also get destroyed. You couldn't stream large RAW video files in real time through thousands of feet of water.
There has to be a way
James Cameron could do it easily
you can connect it through a wire to a different sub
At least it's quick. Still horrifying, though.
Iron Lung seems like a neat concept for a movie. I wish they adapted it and maybe Dusk with real actor like Nic Cage for cringekino. With someone like Markieplier, it will be just cringe.
If I had been in that sub things would have gone down a lot different
How does it feel to get imploded, lads?
Happened too quickly to feel. Hell, happened too quickly for the visual signal to be processed.
I just like watching people learn about a new current thing and then parroting strong opinions other people have expressed about the current thing.
