>start watching the Rookie
>its fun to watch
>season 3 is now all about political correct bullshit
>"Blacks are actually innocent you see!"
Why do these shows always turn into this?
I quit watching Brooklyn99 for the same reason.
UFOs Are A Psyop Shirt $21.68 |
>he watches LAPD paid copaganda willingly
>is now all about political correct bullshit
That might be the only part of the show that's accurate. One of my close high school friends became an LAPD officer (I almost did too; went on the ride-along and everything). He tells me that over the past 10 years it's basically one giant catch-22 in the training department where they literally tell you that an X person is committing a crime because of systemic racism, and it's actually Y person that caused this environment, so basically me more agressive with Y people, and be very lenient with X people....which is FRICKING ILLEGAL, so cops are dropping out left and right. The bodycams added in 2018 sucked all of the fun out of the job, he claims.
>watch Castle
>every thug is either black guy or Mexican
>most murderers are white people though
It was different time bros
Racism didn't exist before 2012
always makes me laugh rewatching and seeing megan markle as a villain in it and the black panther dude as a street thug
3 is now all about political correct bullshit
>>"Blacks are actually innocent you see!"
>Why do these shows always turn into this?
Women start demanding more writing credits and involvement in the writer's room. Creator checks out along with original writers because they are bored. This in turns makes ALL writing liberal PC/woke hive-mind. Ratings decline and then show gets canceled.
Women can absolutely make great scripts alone, but when in a group the female hive-mind takes over and it's all the same stuff over and over.
(cont) and I'm SURE there are exceptions of women that can be independent; it's just really rare, especially among younger women.
You don't even type like a person. Someone fricked you up.
Maybe they're just so jaded and disappointed that they stopped registering other people as genuine humans
It's actually guaranteed by contract, a show needs a minimum of 3 writers, plus an extra 3 for shows over 7 episodes in a season.
I thought the more episodes they make the more writers they to hire which dilutes talent.
Why did they cast a 50 year old as a rookie.
That's the entire point of the show you fricking imbecile.
>quit watching Brooklyn99 for the same reason.
That show was bottom of the barrel garbage since season 1. But it's quality took a steep nosedive since then. Not to mention the God awful jokes and Samburgs acting.
The Rookie stopped filming around the time Groids chimped out across Cuckistan. A bunch of Cop TV shows then universally cancelled themselves and stopped filming. This included Cops and LivePD. Among a bunch of other Cop Dramas. Later, they came back on air, but all of them were filled with Groid Propaganda.
It was honestly hilarious see the death of some junkie criminal cause Americans to fully and willingly bend the knee to them.
As that copy pasta says;
>Americans worship N
they can't un-stereotype real life where Black folk prove everyday how worthless they are
watch Bosch. There's some politically correct shit but it's limited. Best dad show around
>First few seasons are utter kino
>sticks somewhat close to the books
>doesn't bring in the brother for whatever reason, instead replacing him with Honey Chandler
>still pretty good and Honey is mostly decent when she's being a slimy lawyer b***h
>last couple seasons are really bad
>spin off show
>everything outside of Harry is hilariously bad
>anything related to Harry is back to being kino
It's difficult being a Bosch fan
The most recent books suck so fricking much holy shit.
yeah the last seasons and bosch legacy are a mixed bag (like the idiotic 'maddie being kidnapped for 1 episode and a half" storyline). Still my comfort show tho. The books are so many, I'm sure there are some serious stinkers
It's mostly the recent books. Harry takes a backseat in his own books. Several books have this latina girlboss taking over. I just couldn't stand it after two books and quit. This was of course after reading every single one beforehand.
>Several books have this latina girlboss taking over
jesus why
No idea. Two most recent books. And this is only the two most recent. There are more books before this where she's basically the main character.
I just want to read (or watch) Old Grumpy Detective man solve crimes.
connelly has been hanging around hollywood sets for too long
I dropped it around the time they literally included some subplot about some "Incel Cops".
Thats like am out...
First seasons are Kino though.
yeah when she got all serious and said "they call them incels", I burst out laughing. Still, it was a minor storyline, thankfully
I think that's the season that was airing during the whole Saint Floyd proceedings. The show acted accordingly being that it was a cop show. I knew the6 would and it's why I never stated it in the first place as I'd wanted to check it out for Fillion.
Cop shows all have a sigular purpose, to warp the citzen's view of the justice system and make them ignorant of their rights.
Everytime some asks for their lawyer, it's a bad thing that hurts the investigation, and usually means the person is guilty. Violence and intimidation are totally cool in a police interrogation too. Only have 46 mins to stop the bomb/save the kid/etc.
If you look at it that way All fiction distorts reality like that,
I mean watching shows and films you would think Criminals are a bunch of honorable business men instead of a bunch of scumbags that use violence indiscriminately. And now they are even politically correct criminals and dislike Racism!.
Is all one big jerkoff.
My old lady watches this and I can't tell any of the women characters apart. They are all a shade of something and look identical.
time to see an optometrist, gramps
>best cop show of all time
In The Heat of The Night. All you NEETs should be watching this already, it's on all day on bounce.
Abso-frickin-lutely. It took a realistic look at race relations as well. I prefer it over the film.
The best part about watching is picking out the many many actors who got early work as guest stars.
And the behind the scenes crazyness of the show is legendary too. Drugs, AIDS, Crossdressing, multiple deaths.
You posting this right below my other post.
feels like kismet. And agreed, it was such a long running show and it was so respected that if ypu were an actor at around that time you fought to be on it. Rollins, the guy that played Virgil had crazy substance abuse problems. Drugs and alcohol. He was arrested four times during seasons 5 I think, or maybe it was 6, I forget which he left(Was fired)on. Lots of crazy stuff on that show.
You can watch Althea's decline into crack addiction in real time. By the time they wrote her off, she was rail thin and so pale she looked white
I remember my mom pointing out that something was wrong with her. My whole family would gather around to watch it and The Wonder Years. We never missed an ep of either if we could help it. She guessed an eating disorder at the time. She seemed so classy and elegant she didn't think otherwise.
My wife and I are on the last few episodes of the Wire. She asked me what we'll watch next. How in the FRICK am I supposed to follow up with anything good after this? I think she's gonna leave me.
True Detective season 1 if you haven't already. It may be your only hope.
Thanks bros but we've done these. I might be able to buy sometime with another rewatch of DS9.
Hell, if we're talkin' space my man show her the be all end all.
Not quite The Wire level for some, but for me it's on par and then some.
The one and only.
Bluey.
Australian Police drama circa 1976
AKA Bargearse.
i flat out dropped B99 when terry had his stupid BLM episode. the shoe's quality was shaky by then so i didn't feel i missed out by doing so, either.
Same, it used to be an easy breezy show. Watched it for the hot girls as well, but it started having a clear agenda after a while.
>Watched it for the hot girls as well
I used to tolerate it for Amy's fat ass. But that wasn't enough to balance how annoying Gina was, Rosa becoming more dykey by the second and Andy Samburg mugging the camera for the hundredth time
I'll forever be grateful that the shows I came up loving were either all killer - no filler, or if they had a bad ep/season it was due to anything in the fricking world other than political pandering.
I know you weren't born yet but the shift happened after COVID and GEORGE FLOYD
oh how crazy people must be to not want to bootlick and glorify police after they murdered an innocent civilian for using fake money out of necessity. You are a fricking asshat dude
>after they murdered an innocent civilian
Not that guy but you're beyond saving if that's what you really believe. I'm guessing you think Rittenhouse is a murderer as well.
>goes to an entirely different state armed with and assault weapon
>instigates a conflict and then “retaliates”
the guy got away with murder, I dont wanna hear no shit about OJ anymore.
Brown post tbh
>Brown
That's a hundred percent a pasty white guy from Cali or Portland if they're being serious.
Kek, look at the little flyover coping…Santa Clarita is 100x better than whatever rustbelt shithole or hicktown you reside in
If you want a kino copschlock/scifi series, watch Grimm. One of my favorite series of all time. Pretty sure it’s on Prime. Aired and ended before the world turned gay as frick.
I tried, 3 times I believe and just couldn't get past 2, maybe 3 eps. Just never grabbed me, but I know it has a rabid fan base. Similar to
The first 5 episodes are rough as it really struggled to find its footing and figure out what kind of show it wanted to be. The first season is mostly monster of the week and lore building but it really does start paying off as the show progresses. Obviously you can ignore my suggestion but it is a very enjoyable show after you get over the early speed bumps.
I'll absolutely take your rec anon. I'm gonna give it the first season. I wanted to like it badly as I've had a Buffy/Angel shaped hole in my life ever since they went off the air.
That's Farscape, one of the greatest shows on the face of the planet in my opinion.
I will check out Farscape if you promise to give Grimm a real shot. I can almost guarantee that you’ll be a fan by episode 13 and the series is a continual climb to greatness. And unlike most series, it has a satisfying ending. Not Justified tier ending but more like Smallville tier ending.
I'm in to win it, anon. I'll do it if you do the same with Farscape. I plan on binging it this Sunday while the misses is asleep with a little bourbon.
Hell yeah. Pulling of Farscape magnet links now.
Referring to Grimm, I’m not sure what show that screenshot is that you quoted.
Probably some woke 'consultant' got on the show and complained there wasn't enough identity politics, and no one spoke out against it for fear of losing their job
