Probably the worst movie of all time,
Moskal Evangelion tier meaningless philosophical masturbation with a shitty ending.
It tries so hard to be deep, but its meaningless picasso disturbed genius larp, it was reddit before reddit.

Yeah sometimes you just need to invoke some spiritual or high thought and sit with it for a few hours of quiet pilgrimage and meditation. It has its effect
How do you measure something's philosophical depth? I don't really understand what makes a movie or book "deep".
I should mention that when I watched Evangelion (original series) i thought it was very "pseudo-intellectual" and trying very hard to be deep and failing. But i couldnt really explain why i thought that. Its just how i felt it was after watching it.
>But i couldnt really explain why i thought that. Its just how i felt it was after watching it.
Just sounds like some sort of insecurity on your part.
very reddit
>we are all separate parts of the same divine organism and individuality is defined as the barriers we put up to deny our sameness, and the divergence that causes us to become different from one another. You can hold on to that, or let it go. The pain of existence is the pain of individuality
It’s that simple. I don’t know why people have trouble, Bill Hicks said that in plain English decades ago
I know what you're getting at. When a show seems like it's going up its own ass or it's trying to tell you a puddle is as deep as an ocean, I start to tune out too. The trick to getting over that is just letting the show or movie stand on its own. Don't let the pseuds tell you how to feel. Just make your own decision and admit Ritsuko was best girl all along
You unironically sound like a cuck
Sometimes people like you take simple things and become bothered thinking there’s something more to figure out. The kid’s a depressed shut-in, so he’s not the type of guy to give up his individuality to rejoin all humanity in heaven, even when judgement day comes. No need to stress about it
What makes that depressed person behavior?
Because he finds interaction with other people too painful because of past trauma. Hey look I’m not calling you an butthole if you mind your own business and don’t want to return to god at the end times, I’m just saying the character doesn’t want to connect with people because it hurts too much
old hag
>But i couldnt really explain why i thought that.
then delete this thread and try again when you are able to elaborate basic critical thought
>Moskal Evangelion
would be better than 99% of Hollywood slop
perfect example of a dishonest post
It's honest, just not very intelligent. Safe to assume OP is buttblasted about the current political situation with Russia and is taking it out on art that significantly predates this.
Pretty much
try harder Dwayne
>his only frame of reference is fricking anime
Please have a nice day.
You just got filtered, gay. Nothing to brag about
ahh, another moron filtered by entry level kino
are you american and/or born after 1997 by any chance? if any of those are true you may need to stick to marvel movies
> You just don't get it
its more like you dont want to get it but whatever
Deep usually means it was boring. Was it boring?
stick to watching netflix shows dumbass
Wow that's interesting!
picrel might be more relatable to you
why not just sell the coke tho?
You make more money and volume if you cut it, obviously
>reddit before reddit.
dunc
What is the meaning of that scene? What are the white lumps supposed to be?
the oscillations between different levels of reallity that manifests in the zone
tarkovsky is very literal but we are used to always interpret art in a symbolic way and thats what causes the filtering
>the oscillations between different levels of reallity that manifests in the zone
also the sand is probably trying to convey how they are entangled in this oscillation
lol
I heard the book was better
for some reason I doubt it
