Jeph wrote the character as someone who has her kids on some channel named ‘mommy milkers’ where she uses a four-titted anthro cow as her avatar and doesn’t understand why that might make her kid uncomfortable when she pulls him on screen in front of her fans. Within the narrative, I’m looking at a single mother with two sexually depressed children who runs a program about her named after her breasts. Im not broken up about it or anything but is a grim state of affairs for the kids, the joke in that comic is she doesn’t understand why her lonely son feels violated by this. It is what it is

Jeph isn't a good enough scifi writer to really handle this.

AIs that are all but immortal and have very limited needs are a TERRIBLE idea to portray an oppressed group. There's no reason to have humans do anything.

Jeph sidestepped some of the issue by making all the AIs wacky weirdos, and handwaving that they're all made by a blackbox process that know one knows exactly why it works just that it does. So they can't custom order a bunch of AI workers. Some AI would be content to be accounting software, but others want bodies, or to fulfill their fetish of being a vending machine or analyzing internet memes, etc.

They're both in the same genre of webcomics, that being "Trying to seem progressive while mostly being about the author's sexual fantasies"

The problem with his numbers about viewer numbers is that he wrote the cow vtuber as having several thousand viewers per stream, which would make her extremely successful.
He took the numbers for a Hoe-girlve star and applied them to what was supposed to be a medium sized streamer.
