The best thing for you to do is watch 1 to 3 episodes and use your judgement from that as to whether the whole thing is going to be of interest to you.

I don't see what point your trying to make. I enjoyed it and think it is the best Star Wars thing Disney have came out with, I just don't think it is the greatest thing ever like some anons make out and I can also see why some people will not care for it. Not gonna make a claim either way, and I think it's fine to live in the delusion that it's genuine conversation, even if it isn't. The great thing about Andor is it doesn't feed you simplistic fantasties that reinforces the good vs evil done to death shit, Syril is like the dogmatic rebels in the series, he's an ideologue who genuinely believes in the virtuousness of the empire and the system, they seem to think its impossible to portray a character like that, and that all the Imperials must be cynical dark triad personalities like Deardra. Some of the best scenes is between Syril and Dearda and how confused she is at his genuine idealism, it doesn't fit into her cut throat opportunistic worldview
Syril really stands out over the others for me which is very notable in a show with luthien and bla bla bla and the prison guy and whoever. I want another season primarily for syril. I want to see the empire get some representation and defence.

The great thing about Andor is it doesn't feed you simplistic fantasties that reinforces the good vs evil done to death shit, Syril is like the dogmatic rebels in the series, he's an ideologue who genuinely believes in the virtuousness of the empire and the system, they seem to think its impossible to portray a character like that, and that all the Imperials must be cynical dark triad personalities like Deardra. Some of the best scenes is between Syril and Dearda and how confused she is at his genuine idealism, it doesn't fit into her cut throat opportunistic worldview
Syril really stands out over the others for me which is very notable in a show with luthien and bla bla bla and the prison guy and whoever. I want another season primarily for syril. I want to see the empire get some representation and defence.
