Neil Gaiman is the ultimate low t cuck, both sexually and metaphorically. When he's not rewriting classic european tales by turning them into obnoxious woke fests he's busy slurping the wiener of whatever production company is adapting his work.
>she’s publicly stated she fricks other guys
Yes, that's what open marriage means. It's peak cuckoldry and I don't know what Gaiman was thinking. Apparently they fight a lot
>and I don't know what Gaiman was thinking.
Well initially he got to frick all the alt college girls who liked Sandman but given how the cultural zeitgeist is always changing I think the last time he got pussy off that was like 2013.
>she’s publicly stated she fricks other guys
Yes, that's what open marriage means. It's peak cuckoldry and I don't know what Gaiman was thinking. Apparently they fight a lot
>On marrying Palmer, he took her middle name, MacKinnon, as one of his names.
kek this might be the biggest b***h homie ever
Gaiman is a very beta guy. He's got an excellent work ethic and sufficient mastery of prose but he always lets himself get walked over. He's got nary a threatening bone in his body. He's very lucky.
Gaiman once criticized the people on tumblr for being "addicted to outrage." Those were his exact words. That was a while ago, given how tumblr attitudes have expanded it's possible he feels that way about lots of progressive activists in general now.
The author of the Kovacs trilogy is a self-confessed militant feminist, as per his Twitter bio. He got banned by Twitter long ago for flaming anti-semites, according to him. He probably got flagged as a verified groomer or something.
Ah shit I read some of his books, weird bdsm stuff, edgy atheist grandpa who happens to be at war with the literal devil at the time and fricking gollum shows up being posessive at one point.
Absolute garbage my god.
Garth Ennis and to a lesser degree Mark Millar. Especially the former injects a lot of his opinion and personality in the stories and seems to try way too hard often. Hainan is fine if you ignore what he became.
You know it really feels like they’re dabbing on us when not only is Death being played by a negress on this show, and not only when they’ve already cast Jenna Coleman on the show, but when they’ve also cast her as fricking John Constantine
She's also playing John's parts in present day.
Apparently WB didnt want John in a show because theyll have their own Constantine show in the future, and this was a workaround or some shit
Either way coleman will be based
well, shit. that kinda fricks up the lore because john is coming off everything that happened in swamp thing and that dictates every— oh wait, i forgot, netflix doesn't give a shit about any of that
?
They can just make her come from the same shit offscreen?
She's not the same character, she's playing both the ancestor and the descendant.
She is literally just John but a chick instead of a bloke
No offense to anyone who likes it, but is Sandman like Twilight (or another YA book series) for boys? Basically, something people are obsessed when they're like 12-17yo and just forget when they start to read better stuff. Something similar happened with fans of Game of Thrones.
nope, Sandman is more like Book of the New Sun, maybe? e.g. deep lore and worldbuilding, but not everything is always explained directly, and it's usually serious subject matters
I wouldn't have enjoyed reading Sandman in my teens, I read the novels when I was in my 20s and still felt that they didn't really capture my interest then, but they grew on me in my 30s
>but is Sandman like Twilight (or another YA book series) for boys?
Nah, Sandman has very little romance in it and is mostly about a bunch of ancient gods being c**ts to each other.
>property who's identity is set in a specific time and place but it needs to be MODERN so they ignore that >will be nothing but excuses for shitty political commentary that overpower everything else
I've basically already seen this show 20 times, I don't need another one.
Goth black chicks are great... but ghere is something demented that some producer saw a chalk whige character and thought the role should go to a black woman. ait seems unfair to the actress that they slotted her in for a literal white character.
At this point I don't even care about death being some ugly black lady, everything about this just looks and feels off. There's nothing surreal about any of the screenshots I've seen, it has zero whimsy and looks like yet another "we're aiming for the teen female audience who will see pretty actors and go SQUEE" series from Netshits.
>what the frick is sadman lol?
it's about the Dream, the personification of a universal function that performs the task of imbuing living things with dreams, nightmares, ideas, and fear >is it good?
yes, read Preludes and Nocturnes, the Doll's House and Dream Country at least.
>thing you like gets a Neflix adaptation
Is there a worse fate these days for a fan of anything? Luckily I'm not too invested, but a friend of mine is crazy about this comic and now my heart breaks for them.
>Is there a worse fate these days for a fan of anything
Imagine my joy learning that the Netflix Bone series was cancelled. I'd rather wait another 20 years for a good adaptation than have it Neflixified and forgotten
I really liked the graphic novels and I liked the audio novel as well. I don't like this though. Even if they got the cast right, they wouldn't have the budget to create the sets needed to depict all the surreal cool shit like hell, flashbacks, the dreaming, etc.
there are a shit ton of words, some pages are more words than art so I don't consider it a comic
rarely does the text exceed the standard amount of comic speech bubbles
you sound like the type of mouthbreather who prefers to eat McDonald's instead of Michelin-star tasting menus because "they're too expensive" or something
you sound like the type of mouthbreather who prefers to eat McDonald's instead of Michelin-star tasting menus because "they're too expensive" or something
This shit looks terrible.
I wanted to like it but it really just looks terrible
Saving grace is Neil Gaiman’s involvement
Neil Gaiman is the ultimate low t cuck, both sexually and metaphorically. When he's not rewriting classic european tales by turning them into obnoxious woke fests he's busy slurping the wiener of whatever production company is adapting his work.
no clue what the frick this is but it looks terrible
Supernatural already did sassy black Death
Man that show went downhill. Good moments, but wtf why is the CW so shit
Supernatural 1-5 are without a doubt always going to be the best seasons, no arguments there
the show was super comfy but the whole angels vs demons dragged it down
obscure monster of the week episodes were fun
>obscure monster of the week episodes
Any new show doing this? I can't get into Evil. Not sure if the Winchesters will give us MOTW
Compare this to the scene from s5:
Name an author more insufferable than Gaiman, the only one I can think comes close is King at this point.
Being in an ~~*open marriage*~~ with that turbodyke prostitute musician broke him, I think
someone told me she’s publicly stated she fricks other guys too lol
>she’s publicly stated she fricks other guys
Yes, that's what open marriage means. It's peak cuckoldry and I don't know what Gaiman was thinking. Apparently they fight a lot

>that turbodyke prostitute musician broke him, I think
Amanda Palmer SCREAMS bpd. That shit will break any man.
>broke him
Dunno, he's seen like a natural cuckold.
All his works have cuckoldry on it.
Gaiman once criticized the people on tumblr for being "addicted to outrage." Those were his exact words. That was a while ago, given how tumblr attitudes have expanded it's possible he feels that way about lots of progressive activists in general now.

Michael Moorwiener
>Name an author more insufferable than Gaiman, the only one I can think comes close is King at this point.
Terry Goodkind takes the crown.
Ah shit I read some of his books, weird bdsm stuff, edgy atheist grandpa who happens to be at war with the literal devil at the time and fricking gollum shows up being posessive at one point.
Absolute garbage my god.
Patrick Rothfuss
J.K. Rowling
and let's not forget Chuck Wendig
Amanda Palmer
Gaiman just seems like a sell-out. King is legitimately insane.
Garth Ennis and to a lesser degree Mark Millar. Especially the former injects a lot of his opinion and personality in the stories and seems to try way too hard often. Hainan is fine if you ignore what he became.
garth ennis or whatever sjw writer for shitty series
>tfw friend lent me Sandman Vol 1 years ago
>still haven't read it
based
frick comics
Dangerously based.
Sneedman
One of the only comics I ever wanted an adaptation of and it gets relegated to some netflix mystery meat series.
Oh, no. I canceled Netflix and I have no interest in watching this. Whatever shall I do.
Ezra Miller as Kylo Ren as an emo homosexual.
You know it really feels like they’re dabbing on us when not only is Death being played by a negress on this show, and not only when they’ve already cast Jenna Coleman on the show, but when they’ve also cast her as fricking John Constantine
I love jenna
Wait bro….what?
she's playing Johanna Constantine, an 18th century ancestor of John
She's also playing John's parts in present day.
Apparently WB didnt want John in a show because theyll have their own Constantine show in the future, and this was a workaround or some shit
Either way coleman will be based

She is literally just John but a chick instead of a bloke
Johanna Constantine is an actual character from the comic book, you moron
mommy...
>Sandman
oh cool
>on ~~*netflix*~~
uhhh
>Death is some ugly sheboon
and im out
Here's your Sandman bro
WE
hey Morpheus, why the long face?
>muhfuggin peachy keen bix nood, nawmsayin?
>Black
>And ugly
>And too old
>AND not even a goth
What the FRICK is this?
Looks like a shitty CW show about supernatural buddies who have a lot of relationship drama.
You just made me lose a lot of interest in the show. I'm still gonna watch at least Episode 1 but it looks way cheaper than I hoped.
neil gaiman is a literal israelite cuckold who watches other men frick his disgusting pig prostitute of a wife
No offense to anyone who likes it, but is Sandman like Twilight (or another YA book series) for boys? Basically, something people are obsessed when they're like 12-17yo and just forget when they start to read better stuff. Something similar happened with fans of Game of Thrones.
you're wrong. sandman is also for girls
nope, Sandman is more like Book of the New Sun, maybe? e.g. deep lore and worldbuilding, but not everything is always explained directly, and it's usually serious subject matters
It's mature thought-provoking life changing book for mature big boys who read mature stories.
Twilight but for gay 15 year olds.
Refugees welcome gay too. Glad I don't read comic books.
>property who's identity is set in a specific time and place but it needs to be MODERN so they ignore that
>will be nothing but excuses for shitty political commentary that overpower everything else
I've basically already seen this show 20 times, I don't need another one.
>replacing pic related with some random sheboon
I'll pass.
looks fine
Goth black chicks are great... but ghere is something demented that some producer saw a chalk whige character and thought the role should go to a black woman. ait seems unfair to the actress that they slotted her in for a literal white character.
What looks fine? All I see is a black stain in some grass.
this, fricking blackwashing
plus disneyslave reddit actor Mark Hamill is no good sign either
its programming again
Should have been a CGI or 2D animated series.
what the frick is a sandman
No dude your thinking of soundman easy mistake
A comic. But you should read Lucifer instead. Which also got a TV show and it was horrid.
The Lucifer comics were great but it kinda pissed me off that they always had to come up with some bullshit to nerf him because he was too OP.
Mr sandman…bring me a dream
At this point I don't even care about death being some ugly black lady, everything about this just looks and feels off. yes, read Preludes and Nocturnes, the Doll's House and Dream Country at least.
As a Euro comicgay, it's one of the few American works worth a damn.
Gaiman is a bong, though.
Ehh, doesn't count, it's part of the DC Vertigo verse and the artists are Americans.
I double that
it's gay shit for hipster boomers
Yes
>thing you like gets a Neflix adaptation
Is there a worse fate these days for a fan of anything? Luckily I'm not too invested, but a friend of mine is crazy about this comic and now my heart breaks for them.
>Is there a worse fate these days for a fan of anything

Getting a good adaptation that gets cancelled.
Lucifer on Fox

it's a fricking comic

If it's a comic why ain't it funny, clever boy
Uhh it is plenty funny
rarely does the text exceed the standard amount of comic speech bubbles
>food analogy
lose some weight, fatty
you sound like the type of mouthbreather who prefers to eat McDonald's instead of Michelin-star tasting menus because "they're too expensive" or something
The whole thing should have been animated.
Wtf i thought this was a Chris angel thread from the thumbnail
>death
>black
What I really need now is Faile from The Wheel of Time being black in S2. To really die inside.
>Gayman's best work is a comic book
>gay blacked cuckflix adaptation
so gross
Looks like young adult crap, and i wouldn't be surprised. Netflix always does that shit, they adapt everything for teens. It's fricking stupid.
From Netflix? Frick. I had always wanted an adaptation of the graphic novels, but now i just know it's going to suck. Fricking netflix.
