honestly, all the antagonists in this show were golden. the mayor plot twist was the best thing ever. fred's parents, mr. e, and to some degree angel. they all were so unique and well done

I liked the "monster of the week" villains as well. I also liked how it somehow kept the the monsters from being real but somehow also explaining how Scooby was able to talk. Felt like whoever wrote the show really loved the franchise.

I remember Young Justice had an episode where they got some of the VA from Mystery Inc to do a Scooby Doo parody I liked that

also Velma is a bad b***h in this show

Man I miss serialized cartoons with overarching plots. Now everything is episodic shit with light callbacks

Made me hopelessly fall for Daphne's beautiful twisted brain. I was always a sucker for her but making her a weirdo was the best decision.

As for the show I really liked the more serious tone but the "claw hands" always bothered me.

I’m a Doogay and totally skipped this show at the time because I was seething at the artstyle. Does it have an ending?

It ends with the gang fighting an Elder God

Pretty genius of them to Twin Peaks-ify Scooby Doo. I do have a soft spot for What's New Scooby Doo though as formulaic as it was.

The episode where Scooby wins the Shaggybowl and bftos Velma forever

I didn't personally care for the Velma/Shaggy/Scooby drama, but it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the show.

Ultimately, it was a very unique iteration for the Scooby-Doo franchise. More memorable than any other modern iteration IMO.

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who is pretty enjoyable, but doesn't have half of the story appeal of Mystery Inc. But they're very different shows in that aspect, and it doesn't make a lot of sense to compare them that way for that reason.

There was nothing enjoyable abouut it heck the gang themselves feelt like nothing more then guest stars in their own show, not to mention the fact that lots of fan simply ignored that this show existed it all since it was rather a shiity one.

Fricked up and shitty cartoon and also a very dumb one at that, I prefer Jellystone over this crap.

After seeing that preview still of the upcoming Velma show, I really appreciate how the Supernatural crossover, despite having gruesomeness in it, was about trying to preserve the gang's wholesomeness. I really think this new show is going to do lasting damage to the franchise with how edgy it's going to be.

Why was she so terrible in this? Like, I get the idea they were going for, but why was she competing with Shaggy's dog? Another girl, sure, but why with Scooby, those are two different types of companionship and love.

        Anonymous

Because its funny and it does upset the dynamic. Fred and Daphne are a thing Shaggy and Scooby eat and live together 24/7 but Velma doesn't appear to have a life outside of school and mystery solving. In my eyes its like Scooby is the fan response
        >Noooooo you can't just have the gang dating each other muh status quo
And that love triangle works imo. If they had Scrappy Doo or FlimFlam join it may have given Scooby a good replacement for Shaggy.

    - I lost my shit (forgot which episode) when the current gang left a video message to "old gang" of how they tricked them. Which itself was a self-"mystery solved" theme.
    - Or how Fred just went full insane phase and one of his traps not working, because he absolutely forgot that Daphne left gang hence there was no one to pull the lever.

Why should people still watch Scooby heck the upcoming series mystery pups will feature the gang as nothing more as shitty pups instead of humans, maybe that approach works when it comes show like Paw Patrol but not for a show like Scooby which is why nobody will bother to watch crap show.

They had to imply it since it was a few years before you could do openly gay/lesbian characters on cartoons. But even when the show was just airing, there was speculation about Velma and Marcie.

If it had been picked up for a new season or even a sequel series back in 2013, would you have been interested in the set-up for it? Basically the first half being a road trip where Mystery Inc solves rebooted versions of the OG series's mysteries and the second half being a brand new mystery at Miskatonic University with Harlan Ellison as the new Mr. E.
