Pericles is the best villain in the whole franchise
honestly, all the antagonists in this show were golden. the mayor plot twist was the best thing ever. fred's parents, mr. e, and to some degree angel. they all were so unique and well done
I liked the "monster of the week" villains as well. I also liked how it somehow kept the the monsters from being real but somehow also explaining how Scooby was able to talk. Felt like whoever wrote the show really loved the franchise.
FPBP
And this franchise has Spooky Space Kook!
nice
Very
I remember Young Justice had an episode where they got some of the VA from Mystery Inc to do a Scooby Doo parody I liked that
also Velma is a bad b***h in this show
The YJ girls cameo'd in the Wrestlemania movie.
Man I miss serialized cartoons with overarching plots. Now everything is episodic shit with light callbacks
Is this a joke?
Am I wrong?
Yes
Made me hopelessly fall for Daphne's beautiful twisted brain. I was always a sucker for her but making her a weirdo was the best decision.
As for the show I really liked the more serious tone but the "claw hands" always bothered me.
Fred fight with his father
I’m a Doogay and totally skipped this show at the time because I was seething at the artstyle. Does it have an ending?
It ends with the gang fighting an Elder God
You skipped the only worth watching show from the entire franchise, moron.
>the ending is kind of a mess tho
Pretty genius of them to Twin Peaks-ify Scooby Doo. I do have a soft spot for What's New Scooby Doo though as formulaic as it was.
Ripped Pants. I remember singing the song in 1st grade all the time. Along with some other students
The episode where Scooby wins the Shaggybowl and bftos Velma forever
I didn't personally care for the Velma/Shaggy/Scooby drama, but it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the show.
Ultimately, it was a very unique iteration for the Scooby-Doo franchise. More memorable than any other modern iteration IMO.
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who is pretty enjoyable, but doesn't have half of the story appeal of Mystery Inc. But they're very different shows in that aspect, and it doesn't make a lot of sense to compare them that way for that reason.

There was nothing enjoyable abouut it heck the gang themselves feelt like nothing more then guest stars in their own show, not to mention the fact that lots of fan simply ignored that this show existed it all since it was rather a shiity one.

Fricked up and shitty cartoon and also a very dumb one at that, I prefer Jellystone over this crap.
After seeing that preview still of the upcoming Velma show, I really appreciate how the Supernatural crossover, despite having gruesomeness in it, was about trying to preserve the gang's wholesomeness. I really think this new show is going to do lasting damage to the franchise with how edgy it's going to be.
no shit
So?
Something I didnt get is she trying to get him to look at her skirt there
love her socks and shoes
I love those little hair bows of her
djw's artstyle is definitely one of those styles i can't help but feel like emulating sometimes
think most can agree on that even if they don't like the "CW-teen-soap-to-Sonic-06" plot they did
Agreed. They were a cute addition.
Based.
carpet muncher
Imagine getting cucked by a dog
Why was she so terrible in this? Like, I get the idea they were going for, but why was she competing with Shaggy's dog? Another girl, sure, but why with Scooby, those are two different types of companionship and love.
Because its funny and it does upset the dynamic. Fred and Daphne are a thing Shaggy and Scooby eat and live together 24/7 but Velma doesn't appear to have a life outside of school and mystery solving. In my eyes its like Scooby is the fan response
>Noooooo you can't just have the gang dating each other muh status quo
And that love triangle works imo. If they had Scrappy Doo or FlimFlam join it may have given Scooby a good replacement for Shaggy.
>hiding her two best things
Shame, maybe the turtleneck is there for something via an unfortunate shot
She's part giraffe?
So she wants shaggy to look there but tries to cover here
It made me love Scooby-Doo again.
i think the rick spartan episode is my favourite. obvious but the endings nice.
>“And that’s why there hasn’t been anything good written since the 1970s!”
RIP
- I lost my shit (forgot which episode) when the current gang left a video message to "old gang" of how they tricked them. Which itself was a self-"mystery solved" theme.
- Or how Fred just went full insane phase and one of his traps not working, because he absolutely forgot that Daphne left gang hence there was no one to pull the lever.
Definitely had the best Fred no doubt. Velma was really awful S1 though
I remember the premiere of the first episode and being a dumb kid i was for some reason mad and going "Not muh!!!" And as I continued to watch it I started getting hooked on it almost completely.
>the show is 12 years old already
Holy shit
ESL?
>ESL?
Why should people still watch Scooby heck the upcoming series mystery pups will feature the gang as nothing more as shitty pups instead of humans, maybe that approach works when it comes show like Paw Patrol but not for a show like Scooby which is why nobody will bother to watch crap show.
ESL?
Still better than Steven Universe.
Not really anon.
Yeah, really.
Based.
I really like Dr. Zin.
Why bait in such a small thread?
I know I’m in the minority, but I actually liked the concept of Shaggy and Velma as a couple, and I was kind of disappointed that they weren’t able to work things out.
13 Ghosts > Mystery Inc
Mystery Inc > 13 Ghost > A Pup > Everything else.
>Who let Carl use the slumber party machine again?
was velma actually a lesbian in this series like twitter said she was
She wants to frick Shaggy, but during the time skip it's implied she fooled around a bit with another girl who gets shot to death in the finale
And she hooks up with her again in the new timeline
Heavily implied with Hotdog Water.
Not really, Hot Dog Water was into that, though.
They had to imply it since it was a few years before you could do openly gay/lesbian characters on cartoons. But even when the show was just airing, there was speculation about Velma and Marcie.
Wasn't Scooby Doo: The Mustery Begins a tie in to this? I remember it came out the same time
Scooby is cute
That dress...I loved
>the let a dominatrix on a kids show
I doubt Velma will even have that
>Velma's schrödinger kinks
I meant the show with black Velma
If it had been picked up for a new season or even a sequel series back in 2013, would you have been interested in the set-up for it? Basically the first half being a road trip where Mystery Inc solves rebooted versions of the OG series's mysteries and the second half being a brand new mystery at Miskatonic University with Harlan Ellison as the new Mr. E.
Cool how it was more mature than the other shows
