Sonic Adventure 2 is set 50 years after Shadow's creation, if I remember correctly. So if Sonic 3 is set in 2024, then Shadow was created in 1974. That's assuming that Sonic 3 will be a direct adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2, which it probably won't. I'd love it though if in Sonic 3, Shadow was created on the Space Colony Ark in the 50s with the Space Colony Ark being a part of a secret space program and Shadow and Maria choose the Frank Sinatra version of 'Fly Me To The Moon' as their favourite song.
