They've taken down or "hired" many animators making genuinely quality 40k animations, the biggest example being Astartes series. In 40K every space marine contains "geneseed" which is basically special stuff inside them that gives them their super powers, passed down from the god emperor himself and his sons. When they die, they try to harvest the geneseed so its not lost forever and can be reused.

Part of me hopes that space king does get picked up as a legitimate show on an actual streaming platform, simply because netflix or amazon wouldn't let them run their fricking ads at the end of every episode, so you aren't unimmersed from the show by those two buttholes yelling at you to buy a t-shirt.
My money's on the first one, yeah. They'll revive the characters for the next episode.
2nd is that we'll follow 4 new characters for the remainder of the show proper, so this pilot effectively served as a prologue.
I doubt they're gonna introduce and try to get us attached to 1-4 new characters every. single. episode. before functionally removing them from the plot. Unless we're just going to be working with very broad chapter stereotypes for the entireity of the show. (so every space wolf is a closet furry, every raven guard is weirdly sneaky for a dude in power armor, every imperial fist is a mega-autist)
My last theory is that the show itself will be episodic, so there are no cannon deaths. But I don't think that's going to be the case because fear the furry had an overarching plot and I think they're going to use that as their baseline.
