This list hurt to read when I just called the rule of two and you could have a whole sith backstory especially in the ancient race of the sith. Sith din du nuffin. And finally the vindicate their back story on how they did nothing wrong and nothing bad ever happened lol
>Are they using the exact same title to confuse Google and amazon searches so people don't stumble across the original EU novels?
Yes. They already did it with Tales of the Jedi and Shatterpoint. They actually waited for one of the authors of TOTJ to die before they released that one.
Please George Lucas we apologize for anything about the prequels take the helm again at the Star wars. Also restart the game company LucasArts please. We need it. Please Lucas

Wtf I hate Disney now. How do we cancel these bigots?

Yes. They already did it with Tales of the Jedi and Shatterpoint. They actually waited for one of the authors of TOTJ to die before they released that one.
Yep, Dawn of the Jedi and New Jedi Order are also titles from the EU, they're even using the same logos.
[...]
No it's because everyone seethed that they weren't using the EU "as source material"
Disney's Tales of the Jedi has nothing to do with the original Tales of the Jedi.
Thrawn is literally the only character that can save the franchise. He needs to show up as the next big villain, but then have it turn out he was right all along and only gaining control of Imperial Remnants to prepare for the Grysk invasion that is the real threat which will be the first major war the New Republic has to fight and will only win with his help. Some cowards will flee to create the First Order making it clear that outside of Palpatine they were made up of the worst soldiers still around that didn't either join the New Republic, Thrawn's faction, or die fighting the Grysk b
This or extend Thrawn's threat into a trilogy and then have him be right with the Grysk attacking post-TROS since they seem set on continuing that timeline more. Thrawn is an alien so he could still he alive after they do an arc of him as the "villain" gathering Imperial Remnants. Then have him die defeating the Grysk, show the new Jedi Order under Rey or whatever, and restart a totally new story about some young Jedi from there afterwards.

If they can squeeze out some form of the Thrawn trilogy adapted to fit within this canon I honestly don't give a frick if they CGI in all the old guys. They can't stray too far from Zahn though, because Thrawn is way too easy to write stupidly. Not that Zahn is a particularly amazing writer per se (he's good), but he's leaps and bounds better than whoever the frick has been handling the non-Andor stuff for Disney.
Zhan and the consortium and the rest are great. And some more mandalor backlor hell you could even do a biopic of the war of malachor 5 and the first run in and serious engagement between the sith and the Jedi wish you know basically was just a Mass slaughter on both sides.

Disney will do none of this and you know it
It's going to be Thrawn fighting off the Grysks from the edge of the galaxy. The Rey film will be when they finally invade, tying the films together and justifying their close release schedule
I'm sure the social media age will love and just accept his nonsense of >look at stick figure drawn on a napkin by guy from planet >is now able to craft a battleplan to take the planet with 100% success

I'm ashamed for bumping a SW thread but I have to know. Are they at least pretending to adapt this story or is this one of their """""coincidences""""""

>According to Deadline, Wes Chatham is appearing in the upcoming Ahsoka series. And according to the report, he'll be playing “the right-hand man” to Grand Admiral Thrawn.
You know his only connection to the novels will be the inevitable fanfics of Eli seething in the cuckshed as Thrawn gets his blue hole double penetrated by Ezra and whoever this guy is.
The Chiss were hyper-based, and one of the best parts of the empire. Huge thrawn fan I like more morally gray ones and gritty ones that show the harsh realities of both sides. Both sides had the dark sides and there's no good or bad really just war. It's why I love Republic commando. Could totally do a series on that and just show the dark underbelly of the Republic the sith and just show it all was just a cacophony and a powder keg waiting to explode. The corruption of the Republic and just all the crime elements and just all the different cultures have the CSA was technically correct and getting bad trade deals and we're getting screwed over and just show how you know it was a morally gray and just showed the the gray gritty nature of that universe
You misunderstand completely. I was curious if they are at least pretending to adapt the story or if they just want to bury it with more Disney's Slop Wars™
Let me guess. The first person to discover the Force also built the first lightsaber. It wasn't a process that evolved over centuries along with technology.

I hate Disney so fricking much.

Yes
Knights of the New Republic
Who is going to play Thrawn anyway?
His voice actor from the Rebels TV series, Lars Mikkelsen.
Jonathan Majors

They're seriously going with not-Yuuzhan Vong?
Vong might show up in the second and third movie.
He's the only reason I'd watch any of the Disney SW shit.
This or extend Thrawn's threat into a trilogy and then have him be right with the Grysk attacking post-TROS since they seem set on continuing that timeline more. But also, if you even know who thrawn is at this point you’re just a different kind of cringelord homosexual loser

None of these will be made. Every Star Wars film announced since 2017 has been cancelled.
>Heir to the Empire
I'm ashamed for bumping a SW thread but I have to know. Are they at least pretending to adapt this story or is this one of their """""coincidences""""""
They're using Thrawn as the villain. Exactly what else they'll use is unclear.
It's a ~~*coincidence*~~.
>cancel the old EU just to bring it all back but worse and santized
>santized
You mean not shit?
Heir to the Empire but without Luuke is a better Heir to the Empire as far as I'm concerned
>as a kid fantasize about all the cool never ever star wars movies of my dreams
>as an adult hold on to a faint hope new star wars movies will be cancelled before they can do any more damage
With Thrawn coming back and the novels having a lot of stuff about the Chiss Ascendancy in them, will we get these two in live-action?
Who would you cast?
>According to Deadline, Wes Chatham is appearing in the upcoming Ahsoka series. And according to the report, he'll be playing “the right-hand man” to Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Frick yeah. Amos in SW
Amos as an older Eli Vanto? That could be really cool.
He could play a decent Jagged Fel
>the last thing you see after refusing to join Thrawn's Remnant for the greater good
You know his only connection to the novels will be the inevitable fanfics of Eli seething in the cuckshed as Thrawn gets his blue hole double penetrated by Ezra and whoever this guy is.
His existence at all is insanely deep
I think it's just hard to put thrawn in the setting of a childrens show where he MUST lose to them by the end
>Will Dave Filoni ever acknowledge the novels that make his version of Thrawn look massively OOC in comparison?
Gee I wonder anon.

This specific anon is mad
Thats not a bad choice honestly
Kino
The first two never happened though?
Does Filoni not like Zahn's Thrawn? Kind of weird since he created the character and writes him best.
>>Does Filoni not like Zahn's Thrawn?

They're all equally shit!

This would need to be done to adapt it obviously
Who the frick cares anymore
