Not even the best in Craig era homosexual
>being contrarian for the sake of getting (you)s
homie You Know My Name is better and it's not contrarian
Truth
cant find homie You Know My Name is there a typo
>hey you know this famous song? I'll make a thread about how much I like it!
You are so much worse than any contrarian
Youre obviously a fricking queer. No wonder you like Adele
[bland derivative reply accusing you of being a gay, black, israelite, troony and/or seething and/or coping something globohomosexual something kys moron]
why all that extra work for 'no u', chuds?
FPBP
Best Craig intro track was You Know My Name, hands down.
Fricking this. Personally, I felt like there really wasn’t a point in new Bind songs after Cornell’s. I left that movie theater amped up enough to fight a grizzly bear. And win.
Yeah war eva may, adelle ere war ew fricken dun in ur lyf yeah?
incredibly based take
YKMN is unironically the best bond theme, perfectly blends the brassy theme elements with period rock style
Same it came with such a gay era of movies, I thought we'd get the most awesome Bond since Connery once that started blasting but alas.
I'd argue it transcends the Craig movies and becomes a general Bond anthem like Nobody does It Better.
this, it's the worst song to accompany a Craig film.
I don't like it either but what came after were Sam Smith and Billie Eilish lol.
Dude the Sam Smith was the worst. It was melodramatic as hell.
The worst part is that the Radiohead song that was rejected was very good.
It's the safest bond song. The songs you should be respecting are the songs that don't even sound like Bond songs, like Duran Duran's "A View To A Kill" or hell.. even Madonna's "Die Another Day".
It's so much easier to just create a song using the Bond chord progression / riff that is played throughout the actual film, just like the Adele song does. In fact, it's lazy. Adele's song is up there as one of the most lazy, unoriginal and generic Bond intro songs there is and of course people eat it up.
>Cinemaphile anon talking sense
Shocking
Positively shocking
This. It's boring and sterile. Just adding the Bond cord to some random song and morons lap it up. AVTAK, TLD better represent the glamour and allure of Bond than that piece of crap. You Know My Name is a perfect example of this within the same era.
>It's the safest bond song
Goldfinger is THE Bond song; the one that pretty much every Bond parody song riffs off of. I'd say that's the safest one.
Too early to have been safe, it created the template that everybody else subsequently adhered to
This. When the song was released there were 100's of articles all saying the same thing ("This is the greatest Bond theme song of all time"), all fricking PR and people buy into it. It's a very generic Bond song that could easily have been written by AI. Absolutely right about the other songs, no one wants to take a risk nowadays.
>intro
morons
Nah man, it's tomorrow never dies
Nah this one is the best
?si=LT8Ssy5VcVCOR9FY
Please be bait
Lol no. This is the kind of shit they play in fricking coffee shops. You Know My Name mogs it but even that is mogged by most of the ones that came before.
The best one is TLD by a-Ha.
I don't watch Bond (feel free to call me a homosexual for it) but that song is much better than the fat prostitute in OP
I won't call you a homosexual but a potential Bondbro if you want to get into Bond. Have you watched none or just some? Who's your favourite Bond from the outset, just by the look of him?
I watched Quantum in the kinoplex cause my cousin dragged me into it, remember literally 0 things about it, probably because it was a sequel and I didn't understand shit
Brosnan will always be the quintessential Bond for me simply because he was the current one when I was a kid, before I understood the actor changes
Nice one. I guess it's not a time that the franchise is in prosperity so the fandom is pretty dead but they're fun flicks and always worth getting into. Start at the first one and then in order. There's not many new things to watch anyway.
Skyfall was when James Bond wasn't for men but women and gays. It's such a lame and gay movie. Spectre had a Sam Smith song even gayer than they had the GAUL to double down on the gayness with Billie fricking Eilish.
Still can't believe that happened and is a real thing. A TikTok goth "singer" doing a Bond theme. We live in bizarro world.
homie look at Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Star Trek etc
I'm not defending it but I'm amazed that No Time to Die wasn't somehow even worse. I'm still pissed Danny Boyle didnt stay on as director
Post hand
Craig era was plagued start to finish with "do it cuz its popular right now" decisions. Not exactly a new concept to Bond (Blacksploitation influencing Live and Let Die etc) but Craig era was plagued by it
>they had the Gaul
For me? It's Snake Eater by Cynthia Harrell
What a sad song.
Anon no. Living Daylights is the best Bond song for the best Bond film featuring the the best Bond.
We are brothers
I can tell how old you are by how wrong you are
SKYFAAAAAAL
COOKIE CRUMBAAAALL
frick no.
That's not The World is Not Enough, or Tomorrow Never Dies.
>The World is Not Enough
Based. Underrated movie, song and even the n64 videogame, all kino, little recognition.
That's Brosnan's era as a whole. Fricking soillenials didn't know how good they had it.
The N64 game is pretty impressive for the system too. It's on of those early 2000's era N64 games, where you're like "how are they even doing that?"
>coalburner moronic lip puckering bawd
Are you really mad that only nogs will touch a fat woman
Did you want to frick her instead
That landwhale coal burning? with who?
this. it's only disgusting if dumb but hot women do it.
She only married a black guy after she lost the weight
Yeah Dusty Jr. sang the frick out of that one. Not my favorite but I'll give respect where it's due.
skyfall intro is very good but im more partial to casino royales intro
>not one mention of fricking Goldfinger
You are all weirdos.
It's classic and the first ever ''true'' Bond theme song so it goes without saying. The incorporation of the Bond chord is the best one ever, other songs tried to do it and failed completely.
because it's passe
yeah, goldfinger is good, shirley bassey is great, we get it. but it's short, the lyrics aren't particularly strong, and while it's an excellent fusion of bond theme to a different song it doesn't do anything with that beyond just putting them together.
I love the song, it's iconic, but it's also overrated and a fair portion of its success stems from goldfinger being 'THE' bond movie especially for older audiences
I would argue thunderball and frwl are better as songs, goldeneye is in many ways a better goldfinger
it's fine to say it's the best the same way it's fine to say goldfinger is the best bond movie, but it's kinda the boomer take at this point.
yes, it's ironic too because it sets up so perfectly the concept of 'classic bond but brought into the 21st century' only for all that energy to crash against the darker direction of the movie
it's an excellent, excellent song
Casino Royale was supposed to have a young, wienery, youthful Bond origin story. Instead, we got a 40 year old scouser who looks slavic. The song really fits what you stated. If it had someone who LOOKED like James Bond, CR would have been 10/10. I remember hearing Cornell would do the theme and I was very skeptic but man oh man did he fricking NAIL it.
Can you imagine if they did a Batman origin story and the guy playing Bruce Wayne is the complete OPPOSITE of what he's described to look like? That's what happened with Craig but the NPCs just sweep it under the rug. It's barely step above casting Idris fricking Elba.
What could have been if the entire 2000s Bond era carried that feel and theme of YKMN. Such kino squandered. Keeps me up at night.
for me it's die another day
Ive seen the slimmed down Adele and she still acts like a horrible fat brit.
Its obviously The Living Daylights.
Best: Goldfinger https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6D1nK7q2i8I
Runner up: You only live twice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDD3Qi23BX0
Wildcard: Another way to die https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hM5UJvnbbuY
pic unrelated
Adelle sucks and I’m glad her baskin roberts trust fund band is out of money for shilling now
You Know My Name is better
Also if they actually used Spectre from Radiohead, that one would have been the best
That's not a Bond song by any metric, YKMN is unbeaten. This is dreary and incredibly homosexual.
The music is good but the lyrics are naff.
>This is the end
>Hold your breath and count to ten
At least it isn't as about as the Billie Eilish song.
>This is the end
She was warning us that the rest of the movies would be shit
Skyfall was shit too so she warned about the movie to come, too.
It wasn't great but it was leagues better than the ones that came after.
Completely bland and sexless.
YKMN is best Craig era and fits his Bond the best. Living Daylights is my favorite
Best song:
Live and Let Die
Greats:
View to a Kill
Living Daylights
You Only Live Twice
Goldfinger
Thunderball
I'm forgetting a few classics but all the Craig songs are garbage, also the Garbage song is garbage too.
Correct. Boomer seal of approval.
It's this.
/thread
HE LOVES ONLY GOLD
ONLY GOLD
HE LOVES GOLD
HE LOVES ONLY GOLD
ONLY GOOD
*Bond chord*
HE LOVES GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD
End of. This is the best theme. Anything else is a cope.
frick no
adele is overrated as frick
best is golden eye with a tie for tomorrow never dies
It’s not bad. I actually like all the Craig Era songs. But, Christopher Boyle’s song is the best
The best were Aha, Duran Duran and Carly Simon
I only liked Goldeneye so I think it's the best song
It's good but misses a more upbeat tempo, it feels like the song only has a refren in the end, so it feels uneven. I think TND is a song with a better base.
>TND
BrosnanCHADS call for TND.
"Spectre" by Radiohead is by far the best Bond song ever.
And they had the utter gaul not to use it in favour of that fat gay peado Sam Smith.
James Bond is a load of old shite.
>audio vomit that's dreary and miserable with no high point
>BEST BOND SONG EVER
Frick yourself. You're just a Radiohead homosexual who doesn't even like JB or know what makes a Bond theme good.
Agreed
youre getting shit OP but I would 100% agree
I'm sorry, OP. The correct answer is You Know My Name.
I heard you mother frickers are talking shit in here
yawn
No, this is
MAKE WAY FRICKING PLEBS
It is impossible to put this on and not immediately start /grooving/.
Up there with the living daylights
?si=HgrJBi_ySZDW_7Dl
hands down, tom jones cant be beaten damn
Where are my Everything or Nothing homies?
Just replayed this recently. Such an awesome game, and a far better sendoff for Brosnan than DAD.
World is Not Enough
>not a single mention of License to Kill
It's good but doesn't suit the movie and would work better for an older Bond film. It's like A View To A Kill, is the second best Bond song but doesn't gel with the movie and grandpa Roger Moore. One of the reasons Living Daylights is the best is because it actually does fit the movie.
>GOLDFINGER
>HES THE MAN WITH THE MIDAS TOUCH
>A SPIDER'S TOUCH
The mopey sad girl/boy shit we got for the last three Craig films are all bad, with Sam Smith being the best of the bunch. You know my name is the best of that era, and even "another way to die" is better. Best of all time? Maybe diamonds are forever or TWINE.
Another Way to Die. FRICK YOU, I LIKED IT!
