Reaction channels shouldn't even exist. All of them have to do a delicate dance to make sure youtube doesn't flag their videos and give them a copyright strike. None of them should be able to make money off of content that they don't own the rights to.
That's something I've never understood either. How do they do this and get away with it? YT t&c are very clear your not allowed to upload a movie like what these people do. Even a 20 second clip can get you a strike so how are these people getting away with it
They have a lot of different tricks. For the video, sometimes they'll crop off the edges to make the video an oval, that throws off some of the copyright bots. Some will plaster a transparent logo in the middle of the video. Others will play a soft background music the frick with the audio copyright scanning. There's a ton of tricks to get away with it. But the fact that they even have to do these tricks should tell them they're barely skirting legality.
As for why youtube themselves don't manually shitcan all reactors, I think they realize they bring in a certain type of audience and in the end it makes youtube money, so they tolerate the whole bullshit.
