Genishit is less offensife to the franchise (and that's saying something!), Dark Feces is worse than Genishit, woke and openly hostile to the source material.

Still can't get over the fact that Reese fired 3 or so shots from a standstill position in a narrow alley at the T-1000 and the T-1000 just dropped. He had Reese at armslength, ffs that looked terrible.
There was a lot wrong with Genisys but it left me with a warm feeling because it's the only Terminator installment where the Schwarzenegger character survives, they even fake out his mandatory self-sacrifice scene only to have him return healed and repaired
Also is it just me or did Dark Fate have the most fricked power levels of the entire franchise, the Beaninator keeps being sold in dialogue as this new ultimate weapon but it just gets fricking bodied over and over by Dylan Roof and by the time it fights Schwarzenegger it literally stands no chance against him, before that every installment had at least been consistent with him jobbing to the new model, then winning due to friendship and gumption

I finished dark fate, because it was so bad that it turned good again. Turned off Genisys after 30 minutes. The first 5 minutes are cool when they storm skynet. Rest is unwatchable garbage.
Dark Fate starts out pretty strong then it just meanders into typical Terminator movie territory to finish itself out, but I still think it's one of the better sequels. Genisys is like a parody of Terminator movies, but it's a really well made parody. I can't decide which is better.

He's still fricking pleading for them to just listen to him when they start shooting him, no other character revealed to be a Terminator does that. Not to mention he rescues them in the first place and has them alone with him for quite a while when he could have killed them at any point and just doesn't.
Terminator Salvation hinted at it too, in Helena Bonham Carter's interactions with Marcus, that SkyNet is starting to second guess the whole "kill all humans" thing, whether it's developing empathy or simply recognizing how it's always doomed to fail.
Along with all its other problems, Dark Fate introduced a really irritating Force Awakening to the franchise
Not just because "we girl power now lol" but because, and I forgive you for not remembering this, there is no SkyNet
SkyNet was successfully destroyed and the threat ended and then a completely different AI named Legion was created, and completely independently invented time travel and shapeshifting robots to genocide humanity which is why they're called "Rev _" instead of "T-____" and they're black carbon fiber instead of shiny chrome
