Why do so many of you like Drive when you don't even have a driver's license?
Why are you afraid to drive like the hero of this kino?
Why do so many of you like Drive when you don't even have a driver's license?
Why are you afraid to drive like the hero of this kino?
nobody taught me
same. no dad, lived on my own, moronic Australian laws about learners. Still can’t drive at 20
if nobody can teach you and you need to get to work or some shit you can get an exemption from the 100 hours at least
Watched it. Can't relate.
He's not literally me
Drive is the story of a man, not a car.
I walk, as he drives.
thank you
and I also take the bus so I ride.
do you ever think that one day we'll grow up?
I'm not grown up because I'm not some literal fricking honky?
I also enjoy First Blood, even though I'm not a Vietnam vet with PTSD
when he wanted the single mother and got along with the woman's son i dropped it
this cuckery is literally not me at all
I do, but driving is a massive chore. Probably one of the most boring tasks in the world.
Unironically filtered
It definitely depends on what car you're driving and how long you're driving. Not a big fan of roadtrips because staring at the open road for hours and hours a day is boring as shit. But taking out a nice car for a cruise along a coast or a setting sun is pretty cool. Unfortunately, most of us are wage slaves and cool cars are out of our grasps.
>why are you enjoying Generation Kill when youre not a vet?
>why do you enjoy The Godfather when youre not in the mafia?
>why do you enjoy e-girlta when youre not a pedo?
Youre a moron, OP
for me, one of those is not like the others
>>why are you enjoying Generation Kill when youre not a vet?
>>why do you enjoy The Godfather when youre not in the mafia?
>>why do you enjoy e-girlta when youre not a pedo?
90something percent of people drive. Most people are not vets, mafia or pedos.
90% are getaway drivers? ok, noted
they drive, anon.
But the autist in this movie doesnt just drive an uber around.
Funny how you're owning yourself. All of these are power fantasies. People might not be any of those things mentioned but if they could they would.
They would want to be part of a (romanticised) war which they knew for certain they'd survive.
They would want to have the combined power of a a criminal organisation at their disposal if they knew they wouldn't rot in jail for it.
They would want to bed a tweenaged girl at the cusp of puberty without getting castrated by radfem radicalized mobs.
>why do you enjoy e-girlta when youre not a pedo?
Too far. If you enjoyed it, you ARE a pedo.
i got mine many years after watching it at age 38
you need a good instructor.
also driver was literally me
>not being able to /drive/
>in the age of automatics which basically drive themselves
no fricking way you guys cant get a license
I don’t like cars, failed my drivers license exam twice and I don’t give two fricks about Drive, the MC is a weirdo cuck who falls for a gigaroastie and her subhuman husband what a shitty overrated movie
I fricking love driving. I drive at least one hour a day just for the sake of driving.
someone should make a movie called Transit and it's just a guy taking random buses to nowhere and chatting to the other passengers
Like Clerks but with public transit? Yeah some studio will do it.
It's not ironic. The core of Drive is that the Driver works as a stuntman in the shadow of hollywood. As a stunt driver he's never the real hero, only an imitation. He gets into a situation in real life where he thinks he finally has an opportunity to be a real hero and then finds that the real world doesn't work like a movie. This is mirrored by how people in real life try to act like the Driver, only for things to not work out like their fantasy.
Nobody tell him.
Honestly it’s easy as frick to drive. The biggest morons I’ve ever known have licenses. You can barely be literate and be a competent driver
Just apply yourself anon, look up a local school or some shit to teach you. Shit is easy if you want it. If not then just keep riding the bus or whatever. But if you decide you want a license it’s really easy to get one
america let's any idiot get a license.
standards in canada are higher and then it is even higher in most of europe.
even so it's hard to get a license without a decent instructor. i've had 7, 2 were good and 1 was exceptional
Can't you get a license in america at like 15? It's easy for you to say
>Can't you get a license in america at like 15?
16 in most places. Some people don't do it because they are afraid to crash or something and when they get into their 20s all the normal people call them weirdos behind their back and stop talking to them because they can't do anything or drive anywhere. It's like babysitting a moron.
Only girls can get away with not driving until they are 30. They have boyfriends who drive them around, but then eventually, they have to learn when they have kids.
Nothing is sadder than a man who can't drive.
>Nothing is sadder than a man who can't drive.
I have a friend who is 22 and he hasn't gotten his license yet even though he has parents with money and an education. When people ask him when he's going to learn to drive, he gets upset and always changes the subject. He hates when people tell him to get a license. I suspect there's people like him ITT.
>You can barely be literate and be a competent driver
Absolute state of automatic drivers lmao
I don't need to drive, there's decent public transportation to every important place where I live
>I don't need to drive
ok loser i bet you also don't need a gf
I bet you haven't even killed a man with a hammer, you pussy
I don't drive and I have a girlfriend, and having one doesn't mean much you pathetic woman worshiping homosexual
I watched drive when I was in middle school
for the next month when my mom dropped my off at school I had a toothpick in my mouth in the car and when I got out to go to class
I almost got a scoprtion jacket but I had no money
i do drive though
i am also the proud owner of an A license in iRacing
I hate driving i keep crashing in to cars when reversing. Its expensive as frick to drive and find that 1/3rd of my paycheque goes on paying for fuel, tax, insurance on my car. My car feels like a weight to carry rather than a means of freedom.
And the fricking maintenance if shit breaks.
>you must own a car or have a driving license to enjoy a driving film
utter moron, I don't own a ship I still enjoy pirate kino
>I don't own a ship I still enjoy pirate kino
you think all pirates own ships?
no but they are typically involved in the sailing of a ship, something else I don't do
moron
>no but they are typically involved in the sailing of a ship, something else I don't do
you need several men to run a ship, you need only one man to drive a car, which you can do but you don't because you're a loser and a pussy.
I'm in the market, as it were
>he doesnt own a ship
lmao. Shiplets, when will they learn?
Someone saying they failed the written test is like someone saying they never figured out how to tie their shoelaces to me. It's utterly unbelievable. If you fail the written test even once (let alone multiple times) you should be barred from driving for life. You should never be allowed to be in control of a machine that can kill people if you're that incompetent.
>29 years old
>college degree
>job that pays pretty well
>own home
>driving makes me anxious and I don't have a license
how do I get over this, bros?
still better than 90% of the morons on this board who can't even get a job
you still need to drive and learn to be free, though. just do it before you miss out.
Learn to be free? Are you fricking moronic or something? You get a car to go to work. He's not a teenager anymore. There's no freedom in driving. Being locked to paying for a car, car insurance and having to deal with every butthole on the road isn't freedom unless you're thirteen.
wew, who the frick hurt you lol
No one, but that's just fricking reality. I don't know why the people always go on about the freedom of driving a car like they're in high school or something.
I would say you need to cruise around some open and empty highways or off road. That's when driving is at its best
>I don't know why the people always go on about the freedom of driving a car like they're in high school or something.
you sound like a man who never got his license out of fear or being stuck at home.
i feel sorry for you.
driving to new places along amazing locales is an actual experience that is worth paying for a car.
>Driving to new places among amazing locales
homie, are you a travel agent trying to sell me a travel package? What the frick are you talking about? Was it the driving or the locales that was amazing, dumbass?
I've been on roadtrips. Overrated. You just sound like a homosexual.
Never seen such a sad fox and the grapes situation. I feel no anger towards you, only pity.
>fox and the grapes
It's less of a sour grapes situation and more of a "getting something everyone says you should want and realizing it's not all it's cracked up to be."
People act so high and mighty over the stupidest things. Like I didn't experience something EXACTLY the way I should have. You are a homosexual. I pity you for caring about other people's lives.
I pity you a second time lmao
return to reddit
Never been. Will you drive me there?
I will play Real Human Being in the car the whole way for you, baby
Sorry but if you don't have a license you don't matter to society or me.
Even if you do have a license, you probably still don't matter to society.
>You get a car to go to work. He's not a teenager anymore. There's no freedom in driving.
You act like a car is just to go to work with. You sound moronic. Like a person who has never driven his entire life. Take your meds, freak.
I've been driving for 15 years. It's boring. Cry more.
>I've been driving for 15 years. It's boring. Cry more.
Maybe if you're a poor dumbass who drives to his stupid job a few miles away and never makes more than 50K a year until he's dead. Get a real job that gives you money and free time and go on a roadtrip with friends. Go to the coast and drive along it. You can't tell me you don't know how to make driving fun and rewarding.
>I've been on roadtrips.
sitting in the back of your mom's car to go to raging waters isn't a roadtrip. try having friends and going across the country.
>poor shaming on Cinemaphile
homie, for real?
I've driven to the Grand Canyon, Yellow Stone, all the way to New York City. It's overrated. Even with friends and family. It was better to just fly to places. Something you probably can't afford. Lmao
You're on Cinemaphile getting angry at someone over the topic of driving on a television board and you're the one asking for people to take meds and calling them freaks? Really? Did YOU forget to take your meds?
Angry? You gays are angry at being told to drive because your parents have made fun of you for not getting a license. I have a cousin just like you. His parents beg him to learn to drive. My other cousins make fun of him and call him a weirdo. He doesn't really have any friends because he's over 21 and everybody else probably got a car and stopped hanging around him because they had to drive him places.
I laugh at you pussies, lol.
This thread is fricking funny because it triggers you losers so easily.
Meds. Now.
>Live in Europe
>Can get anywhere in the city in 30 min or less by tramway or metro
>Can get everywhere, even the most remote village, by train
>Pay less, get there faster and can read, draw, watch a movie, call someone or even just jack off in the toilets if I feel like it on the way
>Amerigolem brainwashed by decades or car cartel lobbying flaunts his freedom of ruining himself and being able to do nothing but focus on not crashing and dying for hours and hours to get to the closest mall
Trains are soul and convenient. Only third worlders in Africa and the Americas use the car for everything for lack of infrastructure. Even Asia has decent trains.
Get fricked honestly.
>Can get everywhere, even the most remote village, by train
nice larp homosexual
I can't find a map of Europe that has every detail but let's take a single sub region of Italy, Lazio.
You have trains for every town of 3k+ people in here. From there every village, if it hasn't its own train stop, would be 15-45 min away by bus.
you're deboonking yourself, as you can see you can only reach a modest amount of towns by train alone
How many towns do you think are in France ? There are more than 3000 train stations in France.
There are 943 agglomerations of more than 10k inhabitants in France.
You can visit all 943 by train, and then 2000+ more that have less than 10000 people.
Unless you want a train station at every farmhouse the grid is as complete as it needs to be.
>towns
you said remote villages by train alone
what you are describing instead after actual checking stats is something closer to 1% of the surface of france reachable by train alone
Yes you can take buses too, just like everywhere in the world, they suck, public transport always sucks
It makes sense only for long-range trips with superfast trains or air travel
A 4000 people agglomeration is a village in my book.
Also we don't have Black folk in our buses, especially outside of Paris (where you have metros anyway).
>Public transportation always sucks
Good golem mantra.
>we don't have Black folk in our buses
every single europoor bus is filled with Black folk
For small travel, not for trips which is what the "muh freedom" bullshit entails.
if we're talking trips then car is miles better than any public transport except
>Drive for 8-10 hours to get to Nice
>Take a 4h train to Nice at 1/4th the cost
Yeah cars are miles better sure.
what are u even talking about tho
if the time required is less than half of a car's on a normal europoor autobahn then it qualifies in the scenarios here
as it's a superfast train
Also, as usual, you forgot to mention that you cannot transport heavy or voluminous objects, that each member of the trip needs to pay one ticket price, and the additional time and cost to reach everywhere that isn't EXACTLY the Nice train station, for all the days of the trip
Btw I have a license. I just rent a car when I visit a third world country like Botswana last summer or the US soon.
You don't need a car in Europe, you can get one for fun, that's it.
Given current fuel, parking and insurance prices it's not really worth it. I can just rent something if I HAVE TO visit the one isolated castle that's nowhere near a town or go to a lake or something. But I can just as well take a train from Paris and be on a beach town in less than 2 hours.
Only drug dealers that want to impress girls of executives that get gifted a service car by the company drive here.
more lies
every well adjusted male in europe has a car
Here you have France as a whole. Some TER lines aren't detailed.
Don't. I don't want anymore people on the road that shouldn't be there.
get a bike, you can take it on the road, the pavement and cycle lanes and you pay zero tax, insurance, lesson costs tests costs etc etc
Just have a few drinks to calm the nerves
same except I'm 22
We a just want to be real human beans
Worst acting I've ever seen in a film. I could not for a split second see him as anything but what he was, a bad actor trying to be the strong silent type and ending up looking autistic as frick. Just a joke from start to finish. Thank God for the memes.
i also ask for water to drink
the worst thing by far about owning a car is the insurance
i have a 97 4runner that i completely own, paid for it in full but because i'm 22 my insurance is almost $240 a month. i think it'll go down to like $232 in a month or two but fricking hell that's still awful. it's like i'm being punished or something
I hear ya. That's one of the primary reasons young people are so discouraged to get cars and even bother with licenses. The insurance premiums are only going up and paying thousands of dollars a year for insurance isn't sustainable for most people at that age who probably don't even have decent jobs.
>20mph speed limits everywhere
>average speed cameras everywhere
If I didn't live in a police state I would still drive but what's the point when I can get places quicker on a bicycle because there is no number plates so I won't get done for speeding.
Jesus Christ is this a schizo convention? How many of you are samegayging in this thread?
Cargays can't be helped and they won't take their meds. To think these people are behind the wheel!
Cargays can't be helped and they won't take their meds. And to think these people are behind the wheel!
>this is what bikegays believe
meanwhile in reality you guys go SPLAT
>96 posts
>45 posters
m8, it's not a one post per thread limit
if you make more than one post in a thread, unironically have a nice day
why should I?
no
because im not a fricking moron and i can imagine myself driving even if ive never done it, its fricking gas and brake and moving your fricking wheel you fricking israelite moron 0iq no imagination nigg
The director doesn't have a license
Lmao. Thought you were joking but it's actually true. He failed his driver's test 8 times. But I imagine that's because Eurogays have way stricter tests.
Fascinating. In this very thread we see people propelled into fury by their inability to drive, buy tge director was so driven mad by not being able to drive that he made a movie about his fantasy.
we need more driving kino from people who dont know how to drive
actual drivers are jaded. people who havent driven still think it's awesome
>people who havent driven still think it's awesome
lol nope because this thread shows that they are mostly pussies who pretend that driving is a terrible burden that they are better off without to cope with their fear of driving. they are all scared to drive. it's scarier than a horror movie to them.
Well, have you seen Duel? Cars are scary homie
>stricter tests
The tests here are harder just because they are filled with stupid trick questions designed to make you fail rather than test your actual knowledge
t.brainlet
>Would you drive below speed limit if your attention is lower because you're tired
*Hurr durr no if it's not illegal I won't drive lower than the speed limit even though the question is -would- not -should- and because I am unable to lie to pretend I'm responsible*
>Fail
Wow, such trick questions. I got it on first try and France has one of the most difficult tests in the world. Gatekeeping morons from commanding a death machine is not a bad thing.
>the question is -would- not -should-
That's the point, the test is supposed to test my knowledge of the Rules of the road, this shit tests nothing
The same reason you watch porn but have never had sex.mpwgt
Wow he's literally me except I have a bus pass
Because we don't feel the need self insert into every form of media like soulless amerimutts do to give themselves an identity.
>not being able to relate to a story metaphorically
Low IQ, will never make it ect ect
I do drive. But for me it's falling in love with my divorced, single mom co-worker that made the Driver literally me
>falling in love with my divorced, single mom co-worker
disgusting
Yikes.
certified real human bean
I still have my learner's.
sad
why didnt you sell
I got my drivers license last year. Its a mixed bag.
Cons
>Gas
>Taxes
>Insurance
>Upkeep costs
>Threat of being killed by a moron
Pros
>Being able to go anywhere whenever I want
>Driving fast
I only leave the house like twice a month though
>unironically discussing obtaining driver’s license like we’re 15
lmfaooo morons
also
driving a car is in no way worth it
my life can end the minute some homosexual decides to t-bone me
in addition
the idea of fun is not to be in front of the wheel for 5+ hours going to California or TJ, you fricking nonces. pay for flight. way more enjoyable
>Being afraid of being t-boned
I am the danger, anon. I don't look out for other peoples erratic driving, they look out for mine. I am 30 years old and I still have absolutely no clue how right-of-way works. I like to go fast too.
given the chance i would rape your wife and daughter in front of you
i hope you die you obese c**t
a car is in no way worth it
>my life can end the minute some homosexual decides to t-bone me
pussy detected.
so scared of life
>32
>got my driver's license when I was 18
>never drove a car since I passed the exam
Driving sucks. Cars are money drain. I walk or ride my bike.
Same here. I got my license at 20 and I never bought a car, but once every few weeks I'll borrow a friend's car if I need to drive somewhere far. I'm 28 now.
You're better off not sharing the road with Black folk and jeep girls.
I have keratoconus and can't drive.
If I lived in an area that had decent public transportation, I would just use that. The costs to own and maintain a car here is fricking straight up thievery.
I used public transport every day for a good 15 years. I'd die happy never having to go near a bus ever again (unfortunately I still every now and then take the bus to watch the football since it's free and driving to and parking at a stadium is a nightmare). Driving is so much better it's not even funny.
>in an area that had decent public transportation
where? all the publictransportgays keep repeating this, but where exactly is it "decent"
I've been to Tokyo and Zuerich and even there it has massive flaws, from being very expensive to still being a massive time waste even if trains/trams/buses are always on time
Not to mention you still have to be packed with a bunch of people instead of just being cool and driving and comfy in your own car
Is it a necessity in some metropolitan areas?
Absolutely.
Is it even remotely comparable to the convenience and comfort of any modern car?
Never.
I do tho. Literally played Nightcall on my way back from not getting pussy at the bars this weekend. I drive.
>drives to the bars
So you either don't drink which makes you a homosexual or you drink then drive, which makes you a Black person homosexual.
If you can handle your alcohol it's not a problem. Trust me, I've been doing this shit for 7 years.
>"So what do you do?"
>I drive
>"You don't even have a car"
>*long pause while maintaining eye contact
>Yes.
E-Z
I'm 22 and don't really wanna pay a shidload for the license, the vehicle, the gas and maintenance. Plus I like sitting in the bus with my headphones.
I have a Tesla tho
too lazy to learn rules
Is driving around an old muscle car considered cool in America?
Question for the drivelets, how do you go out at night without a car?
How do you go dates?
Bus or Uber. Public transportation here is actually pretty decent.
Uber and using a car service. The cost of having a chauffeur/sedan limo service on hand has been less than owning a car the past few years - but only because I don't drive into work regularly anymore.
Do you not have busses in your city Black person
buses stop running at night, no?
I learned to drive when I was 15.
I refuse to let governing bodies dictate how I can travel. I drive when i absolutely need to i just wont get a license.
I've owned and driven lots of cool cars. I also dream of cars constantly. Last night I dreamed I bought a GT labeled RSX from 2008 that was twin turbo and 600hp somehow and it had lots of fancy changes to it, bought it for $16k, thing only had 60k miles it was a fricking steal but had gay ass cloth seats. drove it for a bit then woke up. Anyways I drive so much I do it in my dreams also I hate Black folk so much I dream the Black person word and say Black person almost constantly or think it if not saying it frick Obama
I chose to live in a walkable eco-friendly city. Yes, I bike
I dribe
>take the bus
>get to look at tons of college aged qts
this except a couple years younger for me. the city bus i take to work also happens to go near one of the bigger high schools in the city so :^)
>none of them ever sit next to you, even if the bus is crowded
Frick's sake, do I smell bad or something?
not her, but usually if a girl likes u she will sit across of you so she can look at you, not next to you
i have a gr86 and like to go fast 🙂
