Based Cruise delivered as expected

Justice League
Dr. Strange and the multiverse of madness
Baste capeshitter
>uhhh... sweaty? this is not the 3-hour-long french arthouse pretentiousnesswank from 1982 called "le petit homosexual et le gros niggre coque" therefore it is le bad
Was it also the first movie you've ever seen? Utter fricking trash.
No one was expecting it to be like arthouse, people were expecting it to be like Top Gun. It's a mediocre 2000s action flick with embarrassing attempts at drama that already manages to feel outdated while the first one is still as good as ever.
Calm down b***h
Grown ups 2, black panther, the seventh seal
It’s dogshit, I’m sorry
it's actually dogfight, and I'm not sorry
Forrest Gump is better.
This. Or Schindler's list
This and based
within a category of action movies it is honestly a contender
It makes butthurt chinks seethe too.
does anyone not know that scientology/seaorg shills everything tom cruise does?
this movie is genuinely good though
>What is marketing?
All movies are shilled, doofus.
Why don’t they help out their boy Travolta more? homie is stuck in Bruce Willis tier hell.
Thinking of taking my boomer dad and mom to see this. Do you believe it will still be out in the US over July 4th? Also, mom at her age gets confused with complex plots, is the story straight-forward enough that a 75 year old could handle it?
An anon posted a theater seating chart last night that showed it was pretty packed still
>Do you believe it will still be out in the US over July 4th?
Of course.
Envy you yanks if it is.
It's out of all the premium screens in favour of Jurassic World for me. I wanted to see it in 4DX again.
What is 4DX?
Seats that move about. Vibrate. Spray you with water. blast air. There's extra flashing lights when the funs fire in the close ups and fans for wind.
You don't have a seat belt and can still hold popcorn ok but it massively amplified this movie. It was fricking awesome.

Skip through this video. Doesn't really do it justice but it's accurate.
>complex plots
moron.
Half of Cinemaphile was asking why didn't they just sent 5th gen fighters
No, just a bit of dementia. She's 75, which is why I was asking if the plot is straight forward. If not, I don't want to have a repeat of watching Dunkirk with her. She was so confused.
it’s as straight forward as you can get honestly. just take her, the action scenes are amazing
Thanks anon. Appreciate the response.
The plot is very straightforward and honestly you could jump in at the middle and still know clearly what's going on (at least as much as any other war movie). The exposition of the mission is repeatedly an American amount of times.
You should be more concerned about her getting a heart attack during the later parts of the movie in the theater if anything, honestly.
I took my 66yo Dad to the 4DX and was legitimately concerned in the run up that he would have a heart attack. Took two of my burliest mates also just in case we had to quickly move him.
You can take that as a review of the 4DX experience all you like.
You should see it for fathers day.
>this average as frick, run-of-the-mill action flick with jets might honestly be the best movie i've ever seen
Capeshitters at least are not this dense
it’s a movie that will certainly become a classic in 20 years, will probably influence a lot of young zoomers who will grow up to make video essays about it
>top gun 622million
>jurasic park dominion 115
we're still in the cruise bros game
cruisechads continue to win

Batbros....
Can't snooze the Cruise.
His face trying to deal with the G-Force is worth the ticket price. Thank Christ we have 1 decent actor still left in israeliter- wood
This is a man who owns his work and loves his colleagues and audiences.
CRUISE STATUS: UNBRUISED
doesn't matter and neither does any opinion on this site in the history of the internet
alright I guess I'll go see this over Jurassic World
4DX is by far the best way to see this. Far second is Probably Dolby Atmos but Imax (it's only 6k imax) is probably equal.
thanks
4dx is absolute cringe. RPX or IMAX would be the way to see this, and I dunno I'm going to see it in ScreenX tonight which might be cool and might also be a complete gimmick
>4dx is absolute cringe. RPX or IMAX would be the way to see this.
Never heard of RPX but I've seen it in both 4DX and IMAX and 4DX is far superior for this movie. 4DX is made for it. The seats bank back and forth and it was so well done in the canyon chase my head was perfectly matching the actors as they were pulled back and forth. Whoever programmed that shit did it with real passion. Wouldn't bother for not aviation movies but TPM in 4DX was the best cinema experience I have ever had.
It's not the best ever but it's a legitimate 8 or 9/10 and the best movie in at least a decade
you should try watching good movies some time
It's alright - the last act is entertaining, but everything leading up to it is more Snoozekino than Cruisekino. I think it's one of those sequels that relies so heavily on the formula of the first movie that it almost feels like a spoof at points.
First movie managed to capture a feel, this felt like a boring flick. Simple as.
I can only assume you either watched a shitty rip or haven't the slightest interest in aviation. I had a coworker say similar asked her to name a single plane and she couldn't. Probably thought they were on 747 longhaul.
If you need to be interested in aviation to enjoy a movie then it's a shit movie.
>Watch a movie about planes and get upset when there are planes in it
Hmm
poor motherfricker
is Tom Cruise the most bankable actor in the biz now or what?
my message to all who dislike Top Gun Maverick:
you will never be a woman! cope seethe and dilate
my message to all fellow chads who love Top Gun Maverick
you finna based my man. cheers!
>waiting for hangman to be saved or humiliated by the coon, woman or artist
>based hangman saves the day
>whites win! Whites win!
Give them every Oscar
This honestly shocked the frick outta me
Like its absolutely fricked the wienery chad character set up to be a bro later actually rescued the protags and they didnt cop out for a minority to do it instead
Goddamn i loved this movie
Yes truly shocking that they literally just copied the first fricking movie.
And thank god they did
>teleports behind you
that scene got me all tom had to do was go super high while the felon is wollowing in his very low eg state he would have had 50 knots after that ant wouldent be able to nose up the required 90 aoa he did the worst thing going nose low like that is helping the felon because it lets him get all his eg back
other then that movie was accurate to bfm mostly liked the bit adout the g ovber ride we argue alot about it on dcs
What is eg state?
>THE AIRFORCE IS...LE FUN!
one more trillion to the army, please
we need to save ukraine
Navy. Please kys now
If you don’t like this movie you are either anti American or have shit taste. There is no third option.
...it's the navy.
Watch more movies
F-35b a cute.
Wait... What is the point of VTOL if they are just going to use a ramp like normal naval fighter jets.
It can't do VTOL when it's fully fueled and armed, but it can launch from much shorter runways without using a catapult unlike regular carrier aircraft.
Also it's saving fuel, normal VTOL can't hover for hours like that Harrier with Arnold in True Lies
talk to me dubs
Can I stream this somewhere? Would rather not step foot inside the cinema.
This is the one film worth going to the cinema for. You might as well not watch it otherwise.
Phoenix bros?
Both my sons loved it, they both want to be fighter pilots in the AF.
They'll be glassing arabs for decades just like their grandpa did.
Great film. Love my sons.
tyrone's children are not yours, cuck
haha, go pray to your dune cube, seething monkey
It's definitely up there. I wasn't really in the mood to see the movie when I walked into the theater but I had already bought tickets so I was feeling pretty whatever, but I walked away from the movie ready to immediately see it again.
How comfy was it being welcomed to the movie by Cruise?
