She's a truly terrible choice to play a female badass. She has neither the face nor the build for it. Her best roles are when she plays someone weak, broken and vulnerable because that's the kind of look she has.

My problem isn't the casting it's the misinterpretation of the source material and the questions that material asks.
Post apocalyptic fiction always portrays the conflict between savagery and civility and forces the viewer to consider the two in how they want themselves and humanity to be defined. If it's simply genderswapped actionslop it can be fun as a light popcorn movie but lacks any depth.
