That’s not true, they soul bonded her to an awful lesbian, which given her history should’ve been the last thing she would want to do. And then they kill her so that they could introduce synergy valkyrie but Cullen Bunn made damn sure to rescue his awful OC dyke and split them apart.

I always forget synergy Valkyrie, Runa, exists in mainline. They introduced the one in Exiles first but also used Jane as a new Valkyrie to have it both ways with killing her but keeping her "Thor" still going. So she's massively overshadowed and it makes you wonder why they bothered.

Considering the entire Marvel Asgardian pantheon is basically space aliens do they have the right to send Valkyror to Midgard to spirit our bravest fallen warriors away or is that tantamount to kidnapping our ghosts?
Should we be going to Valhalla to free our dead heroes back from their captors? Are they still there after the events of the Ragnarok War saga??

          >Considering the entire Marvel Asgardian pantheon is basically space aliens
They're literally the offspring of the elder gods of earth. Don't fall for that one page Warren Ellis wrote that is conflict with literally every other story of their origin.

As a Thor fan, it's pissed me off since day one. Every time it's aliens, "magic is science we don't understand", or acting like the origin of Earths pantheons hasn't long been establish. They have no clue about the Demiurge or the Elder Gods or any of that.

As I recall, they turned her hard gay later, because of course they did.

            She's a lesbian FYI

What both of you idiots, the righoid and lefty, are thinking of was there was a brief period where she shared a body with a lesbian in a similar manner to Sif/Jane Foster did for awhile or Thor/Eric Masterson, Brunnhilde is bisexual.

              Anonymous

Literally last month's Thor issue was about their origin and morons will still spout the "space aliens" shit.

One of my favorites I used to see was people going "um ackshully" was pointing out "alien" can still apply to other dimensions and not just ETs. This would be a valid point, if you ignore they're all born of mankind's faith and Thor in particular is the son of Gaia. It doesn't get more Earth-born than that.

That wasn't the first time she shared a body with someone either I remember during her defenders era her soul was in the body of some bimbo

I didn't bring up that one from her Defenders days since it'd add to the confusion

The Greek gods exist in the comics and in the movies, the eternals are a bit redundant I don't know what Jack Kirby wanted to do with them

                Anonymous

The Eternals series was set in a weird marvel earth where no super-heroes existed so presumably there were no "gods" either

                Anonymous

I though they were in the main universe, Jack Kirby even explains that the eternals are just more "evolved" humans like the inhumans, he also introduced the deviants that are basically mutant enternals

It's complicated. Some Marvel concepts such as Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D exist in the series but superheroes seem to be entirely fictional since the Thing and the Hulk are both heavily implied to be fictional characters here. And obviously no superheroes ever appear in the series.

Yeah that makes sense, it got very convoluted very fast

Eternals is lowkey arguably one of the most damaging movies to adapting a lot of Marvel's cosmology but you have to be a turbo-autist to know why.

In the movies they're "aliens" even though in the first movie asgard was literally in another dimension and not in space, in the comics they are legit magical beings from another dimension

          >Should we be going to Valhalla to free our dead heroes back from their captors? Are they still there after the events of the Ragnarok War saga??
I mean you can't free them cuz their bodies are dead so their souls can't return to a dead body they have to possess someone else or something

What if these aliens just take care of these souls like a babysitter? Or what if they are overseer of the next evolutionary step? What if they dont save these souls these souls just die forever?

What tags and where? I have no idea where you're getting "mind control" from either. I've looked at the comic wiki and I've even checked the MCU one if you're confusing the two. Neither have any of that
