>How does this work?
>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.
>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.

talking cat? There a context to this pic?
It swallowed a wireless earbud.
Another slow start, as expected.
Skathi one-pager drop today
Here's the rough concept for the title style!
Huh, I don't know why, but I expected the spear to be one of the letters.
Probably because the spear with the tassel forming an "S" shows up in a lot of old oekakichat caps as her logo [which apparently I can't find an example of so here's her shooting hoops with Pele].
I considered using it in the title but ultimately wanted to go with something that felt a bit more retro, since she's a founding member of the Coalition.
30s retro or 60s retro?
40s, thereabouts?
Glad to see this thread again
well I will continue the Dynamo Legeau greentexts
but as always I need to share something

Super sensitive hearing can be really useful. The trick isn't what you CAN hear with it, it's what you can BLOCK OUT while listening.
Gonna be a rough day. Spam's happening too.
Are Sundays just the designated super spam day?
Kids are off school, wagies are blowing off steam.
One Skathi: The Last Goddess minicomic, as ordered. We actually managed to stick to the one-page format this time! Enjoy some snapshots of major battles in her long and storied life. There's a download for an even bigger resolution on the patreon (free, natch)
Next will be a vote for a spooky comic for October, soonish. Shame we already did the vampire, eh?
Nice!
That volcano goddess sure pops up a lot around her, huh?
That's pretty fricking awesome.
That's really great!
>Shame we already did the vampire, eh?
What about the werewolf, Zorana Volkova?
Not one of the characters in bug's repertoire I think.
What about Wisp?
Wisp would definitely be a good choice! Recluse is also probably going to be an option, cyborgs and spiders are pretty halloween-y.
>Who would be in it? What's their name?
They can be the Mind Molesters!
I think they mean more of a general supervillain group with different niches
I2Eye is the mental guy, Manticore makes monsters… etc
Merely a jest based on their currently described activities.
Apologies I didn’t sleep much last night, or the night before
No worries, it doesn't really clearly read as a joke, I can see how it might look like a real suggestion.
Sleep is for the weak
Weak due to lack of sleep
Oh good! A new thread is up, I've been meaning to post this for a while.
A bit much but I like the color.
sweet, whats the pole shes carrying?
The original idea was that she was supposed to be on a flag pole.
But that sorta got lost in translation.
Ten outta ten
Oh this is very cute, you got a twitter or something? I'd love to see more of your work.
Has it been a while since the Golden Girl booru updated?
It has. The usual folks that update the booru have gone awol, and have been for months now.
Damn. And we can't exactly update it without them. Hopefully it's not dead. I'd hate to have to remake it from scratch.
>Troubles In TimeLines IX
>After breakfast, Marmot-man realized that his time in this timeline was short, and there was something important he needed to show his daughters before he left.
>Willow was checking the news on her phone for any crimes in the vicinity when she came across articles connecting the dots between her and Marmot-man's powers. Her curiosity piqued, Marmot-man called both her and Kayla and asked them to come down to the basement.
>The girls entered the dimly lit basement, where Marmot-man was sitting on the floor surrounded by tools and keys.
>Mighty-Beaver, raising an eyebrow: "What's going on, Dad?"
>Marmot-man, with a gentle smile: "Well, girls, you're both old enough to know about this. Something I didn't tell you, Willow, is that I helped build this house, and in the basement, there's a small hidden room. More like a bomb shelter, really, with everything you need to know about me, and perhaps some messages from him..."
>Willow and Kayla exchanged shocked glances at this revelation.
>Mighty-Beaver: "Wait, how do you know that Dad left messages for us? Why didn't he just give them to us?"
>Marmot-man let out a soft chuckle.
>Marmot-man: "Well, I know what I would do if I didn't have much time left to live. I'm sure I left some messages for you. As for the second question, your father wanted you to find it. He left clues in the house, but I guess you didn't catch them, did you?"
>Frost-Fox, shaking her head: "This is some psychological game here. I mean, wow, he made a whole secret room and then hid it in our own house."
>Marmot-man, shrugging: "That's Joe Filbert for you."
>Marmot-man used a screwdriver and some tools to locate and open the hidden door. The door was stuck, but he applied some oil to make it easier to open.
>Marmot-man: "Okay, here you go. That should do it. If it ever gets stuck while you're inside, just use the other door. It leads to the backyard. But remember, I want you to go inside when I'm gone, not now. Understand?"
>Willow and Kayla hesitated for a moment and then nodded in agreement. However, before Willow could ask anything else, a warning flashed on her phone about a dangerous criminal on the loose in their city.
>Mighty-Beaver, with concern: "Oh no, it's Morris the Cannibal. We sent him to jail months ago, and now he's out for revenge."
>Marmot-man stood up, his expression serious.
>Marmot-man: "If he wants to harm my girls, he'll have to do it over my cold, dead body. Let's go, girls. I hope he likes prison food."
>Willow and Kayla exchanged glances once more, this time filled with determination, and followed their father to confront the criminal.
>In the heart of TrunkTown, they searched for the colossal man with the metal mask, Morris the Cannibal.
>Morris shouted Willow's name from afar and charged toward her. Willow remained motionless as he closed in, but just as he was about to reach her, she leaped high into the sky, revealing Marmot-man standing behind her.
>Marmot-man swiftly grabbed Morris by both arms, pushing him backward.
>Morris the Cannibal, bewildered: "Who the heck are you?"
>Marmot-man: "Greetings, Morris the Cannibal. I'm Marmot-man."
>Morris the Cannibal, taunting: "Why are you fighting me? Is she your girlfriend or something, haha?"
>Marmot-man, a hint of a smile: "Nah, I'm even worse."
>Morris the Cannibal, confused: "Huh?"
>Marmot-man, revealing his true identity: "I'm her father! You came here threatening my daughters' lives!"
>Morris the Cannibal realized his mistake, but it was too late. He attempted to bite Marmot-man's face, but the experienced hero effortlessly dodged his attack.
>Marmot-man then looked to the sky, signaling Willow. She summoned her glowing green aura and executed a powerful backflip kick, sending Morris the Cannibal crashing headfirst into the ground.
>Marmot-man, beaming: "Not bad, Willow. Not bad at all."
>Mighty-Beaver, modestly: "I had a great teacher."
>Morris struggled to stand, a twisted smile on his face.
>Morris the Cannibal: "Well, this is something special—a father and daughter team. It's too bad both of you will die here!"
>Frost-Vixen, interjecting: "You mean three!"
>Kayla activated her newfound speed boost, launching herself at Morris and delivering a fierce punch to his face. She then rejoined her father and sister, their glowing green auras illuminating the confrontation.
>The three heroes stood together, ready to face the dangerous criminal.
>Morris the Cannibal, sizing them up: "We'll see about that!"
>The fight intensified as Morris focused his attacks on Kayla. Marmot-man intervened, using his experience and strength to repel the dangerous foe.
>Mighty-Beaver, joining her father and sister, shouted: "We call this the Punch of Morning, Noon, and Night!"
>Morris the Cannibal was overwhelmed and soon lost consciousness from the powerful combined assault.
>Marmot-man, catching his breath, realized that his time in this timeline had come to an end. He hugged his daughters tightly and whispered in their ears, offering words of encouragement and love.
>Before people could approach him and inquire about his identity, Marmot-man vanished in a blinding flash of light, leaving behind only a distant explosion.
>Mighty-Beaver, seizing the moment, addressed the onlookers, stating that Marmot-man had discovered a bomb and had sacrificed his life to protect humanity. She urged other heroes to learn from his selflessness.
>Afterward, Willow and Kayla returned to their home and entered the secret room. As they opened the door, they discovered a well-stocked bomb shelter with supplies and numerous boxes.
>Inside two wooden boxes labeled "for Willow" and "for Kayla," they found letters that brought tears to their eyes. Kayla found a necklace with a white fox pendant in her box, which moved her deeply.
>Taking a deep breath, they moved to the desk table and began opening the other boxes, uncovering shocking revelations about their late father's past and who he truly was.
>Meanwhile, in a dark and unfamiliar woods in another timeline, Marmot-man found himself alone. Perplexed, he started walking toward the exit but sensed that someone or something was following him.
>Marmot-man remained vigilant, ready to confront any potential threat. The sound of footsteps grew closer and closer until, with lightning reflexes, he caught a small humanoid beagle girl mid-air.
>Marmot-man: "A hound girl?"
>A person approached, revealing himself as another version of Joe Filbert.
>Mr. Paranormal: "People call me Mr. Paranormal, but you can call me Johannes Filbert. And this is my Hound gal, Wanda."
Oh no, he's trapped in the multiverse now.
i won't say trapped but he's in another timeline
>How can you handle writing such simple character profiles?
personally, I prefer to make simple character profiles both for the readers (not giving them so much info that they would forget in a few hours) and for myself (to make it easier for me to remember some details) also good for you for having so much creativity and the ability to write full documents about characters
also I will use this opportunity to add some info and answer some questions that a reader would ask
> What's the difference between the Marmot-man timeline and the Mighty-beaver's timeline?
well it's not just the fact that Joe has two daughters it's more of that, well in that timeline Liza was with Joe since Willow was a child (when she was 7 to be more specific kek) so this changed a lot in their lives like how Willow was trained as Joe started training her from a younger age compare to our Willow (she-beaver) because liza suggest that and also was showing her some of her techniques behind his back
> How come Kayla has an Arctic fox powers and her mother has Coyote Powers?
Being a canine shapeshifter makes every female from that race connected to an entity called Mater Canidae or Mother Canidae and it's the one who gives their canine powers when they are born (according to the sisterhood of the Canine / Cult of Mother Canine) so it's a genetic thing
>Willow, Kayla, and Joe use their NMA abilities differently, why is that?
every one of them uses the Glowing green aura as it suits their fighting styles. Joe uses boxing techniques and grappling and rarely uses kicks so he always uses his fists while Willow uses her legs more which made her train in taekwondo and Karate more and Kayla uses basic kung fu because of her speed and lightweight.
>how do they look?
well I'm not an artist and I'm not good in the Character design department but I will try my best later
Not on a Sunday!
More likely than you'd think.
Less than 30 minutes from page 1 to page 10 right now.
Work on the comic has slowed. I'm only 5 pages in which is frustrating because I could be finished by now. Either way, here are some fun facts:
>To Percinnius, the "normal world" appears to him vaguely like what his home reality appears like to us
>He can feel temperature, and generally prefers high heat because he can feel the atoms moving around "inside" of his body, which causes a dull pain which he enjoys
>Percinnius treats his second face as a separate individual from himself, despite the fact it isn't sentient and he has full control over it like it's a limb. He has no specific name for it however
That's how it is on this b***h of an earth
Looks like a Bo Staff to me, and for a flag pole that is REALLY thin
How can you handle writing such simple character profiles? Any time I try to do things like that it spirals into a full document because I feel like there are a lot of important details worth including
So the second face is like a ventriloquist dummy.
Not necessarily. Percinnius himself can't speak at all, however when his clothing was formed it was built with a sort of text-to-speech device in the chest, which can translate thoughts he wants to convey with words into English and a variety of other languages. He can't speak, his clothes do
Yes, I know. I was merely speculating on his relationship with it since you say he talks to it.
Ah, I misunderstood. You're correct about his relationship with it, as a strange voiceless companion that is to him as what an imaginary friend might be to us
Who would be in it? What's their name?
Goodnight everyone. Cinemaphile is currently moving at speeds that rival Cinemaphile for some reason. I have no idea why.
We very well might not be able to have a thread this week at this drop rate from page 1 to page 10.
He should put a boombox inside of it. That would make it talk.
I remember a couple threads ago someone suggested that the team up of I2eye and Manticore that resulted from the prison break which leads to the Pavlov mind control pins could be a fun dynamic sort of like Green Goblin and Doc Ock. So I started thinking… what if the two expanded the group into a full Sinister Six like group to take down the heroes of the Cinemaphileverse? What would that look like?
Also it wouldn’t necessarily be limited to six members
Lemme sketch smth
One moment,
Conrad tried to troll
It's like stomping on a glass bottle that's already been shattered into pieces. You can keep breaking it down, but it was already broken.
How would you guys do explaining someone’s personality for a doc? Or their character?
You mentioned a "Claire" previously. Have you tried imitating the format they used?
Here's dynamo anon explaining his method:
I tried, aka from this
>toic loner of the wasteland. Collected and calm, but still emotive and can have outbursts; she's not a robot. She's not terribly impulsive but can act rashly under duress. As far as kindness she's not a pure paladin type. She's nice and will help you if it's not too much trouble, but any big effort will require payment. Socially she's not moronic but can fail to pick up on nuance and certain anecdotes. She's probably not too hot in the empathy department. Probably keep to herself but isn't a mute and can have a conversation and initiate one herself. She was the result of a scientist's attempt to create the perfect big titty warrior to fight against the DFC government. The lab she was grown in was raided, and the scientist managed to keep her safe while the rest of the lab was destroyed. She was implanted with combat skills, language, and intelligence. Her incubation tube was discovered by a traveling family who cared for her after she woke up. She learned her kindness from them and then after a short period of time, stuck out on her own, traveling the wasteland.
What you saw before was a shit result.
Interesting. If that was the format you used I can see how you arrived at the style you did, there's a lot of... I don't know, value negative descriptors there, telling you what she isn't rather than what she is, and qualifying most of the statements with modifiers.
Lods-e-lasses! It must be shark week.
Cool and cute! Nice to see some work in color
A bevvy of buggy babes. Stick all those together minus prime and you've just about got one full-size woman!
needs more mating press
Forbidden
I'm talking strictly mutually consensual, baby making mating press.
You fool! You'll just make more multiversal babies that way!
Yes? making babies is the point.
Crisis on Infinite Mating Presses
Sounds like the type of adult movies I'd like.
>freckled butts getting bred as far as the eye can see, horizon to horizon
It's not without its appeal
gotta love these porn harems where you have several chicks whose job is to get bred by the protagonist.
And they take their job very seriously and with grate enjoyment.
Lewd!
Is there more lady butt?
we need more ladybutt
It's a shame /aco/ doesn't seem very interested in her
>It's a shame /aco/ doesn't seem very interested in her
I'd rather not have /aco/ touch her, I'm not interested in seeing her shit in diapers or grow breasts the size of a tractor wheel.
She's too cute and innocent looking.
Checked
Lila really needs to pay more attention where she puts these.
Lila's Lilas go where they please.
Fair enough
Yeah I agree Im kind of glad she isn't.
She literally an adult lady bug! It's legal!
In general /aco/ has only one sub-universe they're interested in - the GG one. There aren't threads for anything outside that, such as general /coc/ stuff, and I don't know if there'd be enough momentum to keep one going on its own.
Yeah, I'm just surprised no one takes requests for her to the OC drawthreads considering how often people ask for "more lady butts" here. It really seems like the /aco/ and Cinemaphile sides of things don't meet much.
I'm pretty sure the OC drawthreads send you away if you ask for pictures of characters who are not strictly yours, so you can't do it there either.
The inner machinations of /aco/ are an enigma.
Not really. It's western /d/.
Personally I find /d/ pretty enigmatic too
I remember when there were OC threads on /d/. Fun times.
Those were already dying before /aco/ was made.
Goodnight everyone.
That must have been a long time ago.
Maybe 2017 at the very latest?
I woudn't put too much stock in even that interest. Otherwise you'd have to be okay with threads about Barley having huge boobs.
Yeah, I'm just trying to answer why we see less consistent content for other parts of the universe, not making a statement as to the... accuracy of the content in question.
If I could draw attractive women better I would be your personal pizza delivery driver but unfortunately I prefer to web swing in different directions
Love the name, Laurel Kennedy.
Plus I love the fact that despite she's almost a clone of her mom physically she's taller and seems to be a little bit bustier
approved
I think we could take some other iconic Cinemaphile villains that have decent power level and are not part of a team already. Anyone got something in midn?
>she's almost a clone of her mom physically
That gives me an idea for another one of those Killfeed predicament bondage scenarios.
Like he thinks he caught Ladybug, but it's Laurel and Marley saves her? Or vice-versa?
Something much less SFW involving Jack
I'm alright with that. Want to elaborate?
>Killfeed has caught Laurel and Marley, and then trapped Jack when he was baited to come rescue them
>the game is simple
>Jack is locked in a room
>both girls have been stripped naked, had all their body hair removed, restrained with their lower bodies sticking through the wall into Jack's room, but their top halves out of sight and unable to communicate with him
>if he fails to escape in time, their secret identities will be broadcast to the world
>to unlock the door, all he has to do is cum inside one of the two pussies available to him
>but of course they both look virtually identical
>can Jack remember the specific pattern of freckles on his girlfriend, or will he accidentally knock up his own future paradox daughter?
>Killstream laughs uncontrollably the whole time
lmao that's one way to look at it.
>Troubles In TimeLines X
>Marmot-man found himself in a different timeline where he was Johannes Filbert, a man with a hound girl named Wanda. Mr. Paranormal, as he introduced himself, had an air of suspicion as he confronted this unexpected arrival.
>Mr. Paranormal: "You can let Wanda go now."
>Marmot-man gently put Wanda down, who promptly ran behind Johannes and growled cautiously at Joe.
>Mr. Paranormal: "And you are?"
>Joe removed his mask, revealing his face to Johannes, which shocked and confused both him and Wanda.
>Mr. Paranormal: "How's that possible? Are you some sort of illusion?"
>Marmot-man: "My name is Joe Filbert, also known as Marmot-man. I'm you from another timeline..."
>Johannes still appeared skeptical until Joe demonstrated his glowing green aura, which impressed Wanda and began to convince Johannes.
>Mr. Paranormal, whispering to himself: "The soul of the cosmos..."
>He smiled faintly and chuckled.
>Mr. Paranormal: "It seems that we all have the same powers, no matter the timeline."
>Johannes then exhibited his own green glowing aura, causing his hair to stand on end and his eyes to change to emerald green.
>Marmot-man was equally impressed, observing that while Johannes wasn't as athletic as he was, he had developed a new and different level of Nature's Martial Arts (NMA).
>Marmot-man: "Whoa, your NMA techniques are amazing!"
>Mr. Paranormal: "NMA?"
>Marmot-man, raising an eyebrow: "The glowing green aura that you were using? Nature Martial Arts? The technique that we created years ago?"
>Mr. Paranormal: "Oh, you mean the soul of the cosmos! Well, it seems that you call it and use it differently. Let's go home, and I'll explain."
>Johannes ordered Wanda to head home and prepare coffee for their guest while the two of them continued their conversation.
>Marmot-man: "Nice girl... So, this is your dog daughter, I suppose.
>Johannes laughed heartily.
>Mr. Paranormal: "Daughter? This is hilarious! You're a funny man, Joe."
>Joe was confused and didn't intend his remark as a joke, so he decided to let it slide.
>Marmot-man: "So, what is your superhero name?"
>Johannes burst into laughter again, realizing that Joe was serious.
>Mr. Paranormal: "Wait, you're serious? I'm not a superhero, and I don't go fighting crimes in spandex and a cape. I'm a Paranormal Investigator, and Wanda is my assistant—or, well, not quite. She's more of a... what's the right word?"
>As they arrived at Johannes's house, Joe couldn't help but notice the differences between this timeline and his own. Johannes didn't have a daughter named Willow, and it seemed like he didn't care much for Wanda, viewing her more as a servant than a companion. Liza, who played a significant role in Joe's life, was absent in this reality, and Johannes had apparently remained alone in his mansion, dedicating his time to unlocking the mysteries of the universe as a paranormal investigator.
>They settled down for coffee, which Wanda had graciously prepared. As they discussed their powers and abilities, Johannes revealed a stark contrast in his philosophy. Unlike Joe, who embraced the role of a hero and found purpose in saving lives, Johannes had connected his powers with his mind rather than his muscles, making him stoic and indifferent. He didn't see the importance of saving people's lives if they were destined to die someday, a perspective that baffled Joe.
>In the end, Joe realized that Johannes was fundamentally different from him, living in a reality where their paths had diverged significantly.
The path not traveled can often lead to insights if it doesn't incite as well.
He learned he could use it with his legs, now he's learning he can use it on his brain.
Yep exactly
i wanted to show the potential of the glowing green aura and its difference from one user to the other and how it can change them
Johannes is the impassive "mind over feelings" version of Joe
and I will have them debate morals and their views on life and how they should use their powers
Hopefully Johannes is as equally fascinated with Joe as Joe is with him.
try not to die

Tail parasite or chimera?
its almost like its you, i just cant tell if
Recently started reading pic related cause I figured that Ennis at (reportedly) his best can give me some appropriate inspiration for Crackdown writing-wise.
Gotta say, it's a damn fun ride so far.
I don't want to impose on this thread, but the Stargaze thread got archived right at the beginning. I wanted to say that I'll try to make it again later, in case some of the regulars come here to check.
I would have liked to have something for this thread too, but I really didn't have time. I'm reading a lot of articles on the Cinemaphile wiki tho', I'm getting a picture of the Cinemaphile OCs and I hope I'll be able to do something with them.
Thank you for your patience, I hope you are ok with me posting these here. If not, let me know.
Again, thank you very much.
>Troubles In TimeLines XI
> Joe sat down thinking about what Johannes' views on powers and heroism.
>Marmot-man: "Look, Johannes, I don't agree with your views on heroism."
>Mr. Paranormal:"Hmm?"
>Marmot-man: "You said that you don't see the importance of saving people's lives if they were destined to die someday. Well, when I see a human waiting for their destined death, I see a parent, I see a son, a daughter, I see a husband, and I see a wife. I see someone's loved one. You might think that this is useless, but the fact that you have the power to prevent grief and sadness and change someone's life is important to me. This is why I use my power to save people... to make a difference."
> Johannes nodded a little and then responded.
> Mr Paranormal: "I see... But, Joe, if you save one person's life, you can't guarantee that they will live to the next day. And also, you can't save everyone, Joe. Even if you are the strongest man alive, you will always fail to save a soul, and people will blame you for not saving them... Heroes, for me, are like guard dogs. When they catch the intruder, the owner cheers and celebrates. But once they fail, the owner replaces them..."
>Marmot-man: "Weird analogy, but go on."
> Mr. Paranormal: "What I'm trying to say is that you are just wasting energy on something that will never end. You can't change fate, Joe. You can't control life and death."
>Marmot-man:"But isn't the essence of being a hero precisely about defying fate and making a stand against the seemingly inevitable? It's not about controlling life and death, it's about giving people a fighting chance, about showing them that even in the face of adversity, there's hope. That, Johannes, is the core of heroism."
> Johannes leaned forward, his eyes intense.
>Mr. Paranormal: "And what if your heroism ends up causing more harm than good? What if, in your attempt to save someone, you inadvertently make their life worse? Heroes often underestimate the complexities of the world, Joe. We're not saviors; we're just individuals with extraordinary abilities."
>Marmot-man:"But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try, Johannes. We can't stand idly by when we have the means to help. I'd rather be criticized for trying and failing than never trying at all."
> The room seemed charged with tension as the two versions of Joe Filbert faced each other, their beliefs clashing like titans in a fierce debate.
>Mr. Paranormal: "And I'd rather focus my energy on understanding the universe's mysteries. There's a whole realm of knowledge and discovery out there, Joe, waiting to be explored."
>Marmot-man: "And what if your pursuit of knowledge leaves people suffering when you could have made a difference? What about compassion, empathy, and the simple act of lending a hand to someone in need?"
> Johannes sighed, his shoulders sagging slightly.
>Mr. Paranormal:"I respect your viewpoint, Joe. You're passionate, and your heart is in the right place. But I've chosen a different path—one of understanding and exploration. I can't change that."
>Marmot-man: "And I can't change my calling to be a hero, Johannes. Maybe we'll never see eye to eye on this, but at least we've had this discussion."
>They sat in silence for a moment, each contemplating their own convictions.
>Mr. Paranormal:"I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree."
>Marmot-man:"Agreed."
> Despite the heated debate, there was a mutual respect between the two Joes, each acknowledging the validity of the other's perspective, even if they could never fully comprehend it.
I like that for once the parallel counterparts didn't immediately come to blows.
It's fine, it's part of what these threads are for.
>I like that for once the parallel counterparts didn't immediately come to blows.
kek glad you liked it
fun fact:
Johaness was originally gonna be a version of Joe who lost his mind because he couldn't handle the power in his mind and was gonna have his own Willow who doesn't remember and forgot about
something like Ice King and Marceline in the episode "I Remember You" but I went with this version to show what would have happened if Joe wasn't a hero and sheltered himself from people
So what happens if Joe starts applying the NMA to his mind?
we will soon find out
don't want to make OP so i don't think i will give him telekinesis
He just goes big brain mode then.

Bump for storytime
Heh, sorry, I had work and school back to back. Next thread.
I have the other part partially drawn out.
I'm tryin to get started on all the greentexts I had on NTH's interactions with his self-proclaimed arch nemesis, Nicky Two-Vests. And then some Samegay story where he gets recruited into The Justice Comrades.
It's all short because I don't delve deep into anything basically
He has no less than 13 kids probably.
Goodnight everyone.
Goodnight Moon
Good night!
Anyone here interested in managing a new Cinemaphilehouse shimmie/booru, since the old one is long dead and the admin is MIA?
What will be the responsibilities that comes when managing?
I don't know, I never managed one. That's why I'm asking.
You will have to patrol it for spam, make sure each image is tagged correctly, make sure no one is breaking any laws (or else your booru will be deleted). You basically just have to babysit it.
saw this on the site formerly known as twitter
Interesting.
I get the feeling that somewhere, deep down, Johannes knows he shouldn't fight Joe, not for real.
He may see him as a threat to his authority, but he also sees him as himself which offers insight to the nature of the cosmos. And there might be sacred hospitality at play too.
>
> Johannes watched the struggle with an intrigued smile, his eyes glittering with curiosity.
>Mr. Paranormal: "Impressive, Joe. Your will and powers are monstrous."
>Marmot-man: "Don't ever do that again, Johannes. Don't mess with someone's free will, their emotions. It's not our place."
> Johannes released his control, and Wanda collapsed, gasping for breath. Joe knelt beside her, offering soothing words and gentle strokes.
>Mr. Paranormal: "This was a test, Joe, a test of your will and your beliefs. I'm impressed by your strength."
> Joe's heart was still racing, but he nodded firmly.
>Marmot-man: "I won't compromise on what I believe in, Johannes. Emotions and free will are what make us who we are. They're worth protecting."
>The two Joes locked eyes once more, but the respect between them had shifted. Johannes was impressed by Joe's determination and strength of conviction, while Joe had lost some respect for Johannes, seeing him as a man who would tamper with the essence of his humanity for the sake of control.
>It was a debate neither would soon forget, and as they continued to coexist in this alternate timeline, their differences remained a defining aspect of their relationship. (You)
>I get the feeling that somewhere, deep down, Johannes knows he shouldn't fight Joe, not for real.
>He may see him as a threat to his authority, but he also sees him as himself which offers insight to the nature of the cosmos. And there might be sacred hospitality at play too.
interesting point of view and yes this is really true
I really like your comments and analysis anon
I think Joe is also aware that fighting this alternate self won't fix any of the problems this time line is facing. His best chance at making a difference in this situation is to talk to him, to try to change his mind.
That seems to be one of Joe's skills: chaining a person's mind, if only even a little.
>Troubles In TimeLines XII
>After that Johannes wanted to see how well Joe used his powers so he asked for a little test
>Mr. Paranormal:"Joe you are an interesting individual so i need to see how good you are at using NMA was it?"
>Marmot-man:"Yes NMA and Sure Johannes, what do you want to see?"
>Johannes turned emerald green and he started explaining his powers to him
>Mr. Paranormal:"You see Joe i used the Soul of the Cosmos to enhance my mind abilities and made able to manipulate the glowing green aura almost unmatchable, i can shape and reshape my aura to any object from a gun to a whole house using my thoughts..."
>Johannes made a shield, a gun, and even a copy of himself using his Glowing green aura and then continued explaining
>Mr. Paranormal:" And using my enhanced mind powers i became more connected to nature, No...i became connected to the universe and every living creature on this planet, which made me able to see what they see and even...control their instincts from there i realized that emotions and feelings are impractical and I don't need them and you too don't need them as emotions lead to bad judgments and it corrupts the mind..."
>Joe nodded slowly and thought a little about it and then responded
>Marmot-man: "I see but Johannes, you mentioned your mind powers earlier, how you can control instincts and manipulate the glowing green aura. But I have to ask, isn't using your powers to control others' instincts a violation of their free will?"
>Johannes leaned back, his eyes unwavering.
>Mr. Paranormal: "Free will is an illusion, Joe. Emotions and feelings like love and sadness are for the weak-minded. By controlling instincts, I bring order to chaos. I ensure that actions are rational and efficient. It's about optimizing existence."
>Marmot-man:"But what about the essence of individuality? The freedom to make choices, to experience life's highs and lows, to learn and grow through our own experiences? Emotions and free will are what make us human. They define our existence and our capacity for compassion."
> Johannes raised an eyebrow, seemingly unmoved.
>Mr. Paranormal:"And yet, emotions can lead to irrational decisions, clouding judgment. I've seen it time and again. People driven by fear, anger, or love making choices that ultimately bring harm. By controlling instincts, I eliminate such risks."
>Marmot-man:"But what you call risks, Johannes, I call the beauty of life. The unpredictability, the capacity for change, the endless possibilities. Emotions and free will give us the strength to overcome adversity, to choose to be better, to protect and care for one another."
> Johannes seemed unfazed by Joe's impassioned argument.
>Mr. Paranormal:"It's an interesting perspective, Joe. But let's put theory to the test."
> Suddenly, Johannes extended his mind powers toward Wanda, the hound girl, who had been peacefully resting nearby.
>Marmot-man: "Johannes, what are you doing?"
> Joe watched in growing alarm as Wanda began to choke herself, her eyes wide with panic.
>Mr. Paranormal:"Stop me, Joe, if you can."
> Joe felt panic welling up inside him, but he knew he had to remain calm. He concentrated, channeling his glowing green aura into his mind and legs. With a burst of energy, he rushed toward Wanda, his strength and speed causing the floor to shatter beneath him.
>Marmot-man(Panicing): "Wanda, fight it!"
> Wanda's struggles intensified as Joe reached her, and he could see the anguish in her eyes. With a tremendous effort, Joe wrestled against Johannes' mind control, his aura intertwining with Wanda's struggles.

>It was a debate neither would soon forget, and as they continued to coexist in this alternate timeline, their differences remained a defining aspect of their relationship.
>Troubles In TimeLines XIII
>Joe began to glitch and falter, realizing his time in this timeline was coming to an end.
>Marmot-man: "Johannes, I don't have much time left here. But before I go, I need something from you."
>Mr. Paranormal raised an eyebrow.
>Mr. Paranormal: "What is it, Joe?"
>Marmot-man: "Promise me... Promise me that you won't hurt Wanda or any other soul again."
>Johannes hesitated for a moment, then sighed.
>Mr. Paranormal: "Joe, you don't understand. Controlling instincts—"
>Marmot-man (interrupting): "I understand your viewpoint, Johannes, but we must use our powers responsibly. We shouldn't harm others to prove a point or further our beliefs."
>Mr. Paranormal: "And what about your beliefs, Joe? You place great importance on love and emotions. How can you prove their worth?"
>Marmot-man: "Because I've experienced it. I have a daughter, Johannes, named Willow. I love her more than anything in the universe."
>Mr. Paranormal: "Love... Describe it to me."
>Marmot-man: "Love is the feeling that warms your heart when you see your child smile. It's the unbreakable bond that forms when you hold them in your arms for the first time. Love is caring for someone more than yourself, wanting to protect them, and being willing to make sacrifices for their well-being."
>Mr. Paranormal seemed intrigued, though skeptical.
>Mr. Paranormal: "But emotions can also cloud judgment, Joe. Love can lead to irrational decisions."
>Marmot-man: "Yes, love can be challenging, but it's what makes us human. It's the driving force behind our capacity to care for others, to nurture, and to protect. It's the essence of our humanity."
>Mr. Paranormal: "And you believe this love makes you stronger?"
>Marmot-man: "Absolutely. Love, empathy, and the connections we build with others are what give life meaning. They inspire us to become better, to protect and cherish those we hold dear."
>Mr. Paranormal: "Interesting perspective."
>Marmot-man: "Johannes, I don't ask you to change overnight, but promise me that you'll reconsider your actions and their consequences."
>Mr. Paranormal fell silent for a moment before responding.
>Mr. Paranormal: "I can't make promises, Joe, but I'll... consider what you've said."
>Marmot-man nodded, his glitching becoming more pronounced.
>Marmot-man: "That's all I ask. Goodbye, Johannes."
>As Joe faded away from this timeline, Johannes was left with his thoughts, contemplating the complex ideas about powers, responsibility, and the nature of love that Joe had introduced.
>Johannes wasn't entirely convinced, but a seed of doubt had been planted in his mind, suggesting that there might be more to the cosmos than he had previously believed.
Well, he asked to be sent to time lines where he kept developing his powers. He didn't ask not to be sent to more than one.
what do you think Is Joe gonna end up in another timeline or is he gonna go home? kek
but I do have some concepts in mind:
>genderbend timeline with Joelle Filbert and Wally Filbert
>a cartoony anthro animals timeline with Joshua the Marmot and Wendy the human
> A zombie apocalypse timeline with Jacob Filbert and Wilma Filbert
Don't spend too much time bouncing him to timelines, he still has a daughter to get home to and the plot shouldn't get changed to "gotta get back".
His visits to other timelines are only meaningful if he's able to get back soon enough to actually impart what he's learned.
i won't but thanks for the advice
also I will go back to the timeline in the far future (maybe)
It wasn't that far into the future, was it?
sorry i meant that in the far future, I will go back to the whole timelines/Multiverse thing but now I will just finish this mini-arc and continue the story
That makes more sense.
Seltzr here
I've been kinda sick lately.
uh... so yeah. that's it. I'm going back to bed now.
I hope you get better soon.
I'm unfamiliar with your work but wish you a swift recovery.
He's the guy who's been drawing the Golden Guardian and Bronze Buster comic.
I was about to get sick as well recently, but thankfully I nipped it in the bud right before it became a real problem.
Get well.
Whoops, meant for
Get well soon!
Crazy that you mentioned your sick, I'm working on a Silver Queen psa of being ill. I'll try to finish it before this thread ends. And get well soon.
bump
Good luck and good night.
>Welcome home
>Joe opened his eyes, vision slowly clearing.
>Marmot-man: "Where am I now?"
>His surroundings were unfamiliar, shrouded in darkness.
>Marmot-man: "Let's hope I'm not in a postapocalyptic timeline..."
>Fatigue weighed him down from his spacetime adventure. He decided to lie down, reflecting on everything he had experienced and learned.
>Thoughts swirled in his mind
>Marmot-man: "The glowing green aura... the different timelines... Willow, Kayla, and Johannes... What did I really learn from all of this?"
>He stretched his hand out, attempting to shape the glowing green aura into something, anything.
>A dim torchlight formed, casting a faint glow on the room.
>Marmot-man (softly): "I'm on the moon... in my timeline."
>With newfound determination, he left the dark room, making his way through the headquarters to reunite with his loved ones.
>First, he sought out Willow in Huntress-wolf's room and hugged her tightly, feeling her warmth and knowing that this was his real daughter.
>Liza soon found them, and they embraced Marmot-man with joy.
>Marmot-man: "I'm back, and I've missed you both."
>Liza blushed, her eyes gleaming.
>Willow and Marmot-man chuckled.
>As they settled down, Marmot-man began to recount his adventures, leaving out the part where he met his alternate daughters.
>He spoke of the glowing green aura, its mysteries, and the knowledge he had gained which Made Willow's jaw drop and made her excited to learn and train more.
>Marmot-man: "I've learned that I always want to be with you two and i will always use what i have to help others in every way possible"
>He gazed at them with affection.
>Marmot-man:"And now, I'm determined to change my fate."
>Wonder-Coyote(nodding and smiling):"I believe in you."
>She-Beaver: "We're with you all the way, Dad."
>Marmot-man:"Thanks you two,i couldn't do it without you, now let's go home now i still have a duty in Trunktown and a team to lead"
> They both nodded
>Before leaving, Marmot-man turned to Liza.
>Marmot-man: "By the way, do you like the name Kayla?"
>Liza's eyes sparkled, and she nodded.
>Liza: "It's a beautiful name."
>Marmot-man smiled.
>Marmot-man(thinking to himself): "Then Kayla it is."
>Together, they faced the future, ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
Was she picking up on what he was putting down?
yes kinda
also when i was browsing superhero ocs I found this :
"Beaver-man" and I was like "okay I can Joe in a suit like this" (even though Joe is a little bulkier)
but personally, I think this is the closest thing to a Marmot-man suit and appearance on the internet so far
https://files.catbox.moe/wes791.jpg
Still kind of fits with the Wildcat idea.
Show a bit more of the other members doing stuff. Right now they aren't very interesting and I don't know if that's because they just haven't had enough exposure or because Joe and Willow just massively overshadow them in terms of character depth.
>Still kind of fits with the Wildcat idea.
yep this is exactly what I thought
>Show a bit more of the other members doing stuff. Right now they aren't very interesting and I don't know if that's because they just haven't had enough exposure or because Joe and Willow just massively overshadow them in terms of character depth.
yep the next few greentext will focus on the whole Dynamo League and the fact that Liza will be the new member cause Implad left the team also I will show the full potential of Captain Under-Socks and Dr. Invisi-Bling and maybe I will their backstories
we will see
and heads up the next few weeks i won't be able to post a lot of greentexts (RL stuff and I will be busy) so I will stop the pitch of the week and I will stick with Dynamo league until i run out of ideas kek
Neat.
I wonder how Liza will react to the weirdos in the team.
Dynamo league anon here
since the whole timeline arc is over and we are kind of back to simple Dynamo league shenanigans
i want to ask you:
any questions?
any suggestions?or ideas you want to see?
any complaints?
Page 10
made this little chart showing my inspirations for the Dynamo League (the inspirations don't mean that they have the same persona it's more of this is what led me into creating those characters)
https://files.catbox.moe/v9gy52.png
There an entire sisterhood of were-heroines and you pick the cat design as the inspiration?
kek yes well you see
Liza was originally a were-cat and member of a famous and powerful were-heroes called the "Weir Family" (yes she was going to be Liza Weir)
Liza was going to be a Were-Ragdoll Cat and live in the shadow of her siblings and father (every member has a different mammal father is a Were-Lion her older brother is a Were-bear and her older sister is a were-hyena) and her arc was about her learning that she doesn't need to anyone's approval and not too ashamed by her powers no matter how weird and useless they seem when she joined the team and later falling in love with Joe after she realized that he likes her for being Liza and not for her family name
and then I went with the Wonder-woman and amazonians approach and changed her to a not really popular Canine (coyote) and here we are
also, forget to add Captain Underpants as an inspiration for Captain under-socks
So now her backstory is just that she transforms into an unpopular animal that made it difficult to preform heroism?
no she has a different backstory now
and it's for later
Continuing this chat with the part of my inspirations for the characters
https://files.catbox.moe/g79p4n.png
Didn't expect that for the moon man.
So what's Hammerbug's gimmick(s)?
IIRC:
Ladybug and Jack Hammer' theoretical future child, come back in time Chibi-Moon style to meet her parents at the start of their careers. Wields a giant hammer affectionately named the "Bug Bumper" with the help of gravity powers inherited from Jack. Almost a dead ringer for Marley, except for having Jack's blonde hair.
Is it a futuristic hammer?
Why did she came from the future?
Is the hammer part of ladybug tech?
Besides nsfw, does she have cool moments where people mistakes her for Marley?
Does she boop people with the hammer a lot?
>Is it a futuristic hammer?
Yes.
>Why did she came from the future?
Unclear, sometimes depicted as a Marty McFly scenario.
>Is the hammer part of ladybug tech?
Seems to have shield tech in it!
>Besides nsfw, does she have cool moments where people mistakes her for Marley?
Some anon wrote a bit of her showing up to a pool party in a scandalous swimsuit and everyone assuming it was just Marley with dyed hair.
>Does she boop people with the hammer a lot?
We'd have to ask her creator but one must assume it's her signature move. She's been seen chasing other paradox kids around with it, anyway.
Futuristic hammer made of ladybug tech. Judging by the pic it seems it’s made from hard light, but with some non hard light core elements. Wonder how it looks at rest, and what other functions it has.
Shapeshifting is obvious… seems it can either work as a drill/pick-axe or a reactor jet engine thingie? Triangle shape.
>Unclear, sometimes depicted as a Marty McFly scenario.
So she got there by accident, accidentally seduced her mom, and now has to help her dad get her back so she still exists?
>”What’s wrong Kennedy? Chicken?”
>Some anon wrote a bit of her showing up to a pool party in a scandalous swimsuit and everyone assuming it was just Marley with dyed hair.
Is that your above pic?
>Shapeshifting is obvious… seems it can either work as a drill/pick-axe or a reactor jet engine thingie? Triangle shape.
Makes sense to me! Marley herself is supposed to develop some more hard light tool style applications for her tech later down the road.
>So she got there by accident, accidentally seduced her mom, and now has to help her dad get her back so she still exists?
I was referring more towards just the "ensuring her own existence" bit but considering how many of the potential babies seem to have been conceived with another woman it's not outside the realm of possibility... there was also the theory that she's some kind of timeline parasite who has to create an identity for itself to exist, latching on to two random people.
>Is that your above pic?
I think that might have been the inspiration for Rad Lazybones to make that pic, yea.
the timeline parasite was ladyhammer and other variants in your pic. Basically the only way to stop being a parasite is to latch onto someone’s existence, retcon them out of it and replace them.
Kinda dreadful when you think about it. Only way to survive is either eliminating the parasite before it erases you, and without your actions while eliminating erases your existence, or it focusing on someone else and erasing them.
Could be a fun idea. They’re the Reyt’Kunn, and the reason there’s almost no retcons in Cinemaphile is because hammerbug is keeping them at bay! but because of it there has been a over accumulation of time bugs and they’re starting to target laurel personally
Unprompted piece of Crackdown lore: every couple of years, the Braun family hosts luxurious several-days-long dinner parties, where all sorts of men of the upper crust gather to celebrate their wealth and influence.
For anyone below on the social hierarchy, these are notorious for another reason, as the rumors of family's ties to occultism have been abound for as long as it's name's been traveling the world.
Obviously, this is nothing but old wives' tales that uncouth folk come up with to add a little excitement into their boorish lives.
Well based on the three bumps before your post I'd say it's MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE.
Nice triple whopper.
Sabruo X? Sorry If I spelled the name wrong.
Watching people eat is completely unsexy. Just sickening.
Anyway this chest size is very, very nice for her.
Lustless getting restrained, oh nooo
It's making her feel tingly.
Nice.
Judging by those pokies I'd say she's enjoying herself.
Can't wait for more!
I created this character named Spenglerman
Troy Trave is his real name.
>Has a revolver, a Taurus to be specific, with a bayonet that he can call to his hand at will like Mjolnir. Prefers to hit people with it instead of shooting it
>His lower body is inhumanly flexible and strong, allowing him to kick extremely hard at fricking dizzying angles. Like, hard enough to shake a train car.
>He is immune to being blinded by bright lights
>His forearm hair can go into a sharpened state similar to a porcupine that allows him to stab people with a backhand
>Poor weather makes him stronger
He's like the Stig in that he just has completely unrelated powers and aspects that are just a little bit weird and specific.
He also looks like a tacticool Zorro.
SQ's Advice on the sick season.
Hungry for clown dogs?
I thought he was shorter than that.
Is he actually a clown or a guy with a big clown mascot head on?
I assumed it was a mascot head up to this point
Yep, mascot with bighead.
Because I was bored and felt like being lazy, I spent a while brainstorming about this character I mentioned a thread or two ago.
Now, with some reworks, I present to you; Acherontis. A troubled ex- electrical engineer turned vigilante and political terrorist who can see electrical currents through matter.
Amidst the cold war and international tensions surrounding General Freedom and the morality of America having an immortal super being in its ranks, Dimitri Kasyanenko begins his quest. To weed out political and moral corruption of all forms from his city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. However, his fruitless journey of perfect selflessness and idealistic philosophies struggles to make headway in a world where it seems only the suprahuman can be heroes, and the emotional turmoil takes its toll on a man with only so much to give.
I don't have any current ideas for plots but I'm wanting to establish the character now because I WILL use him later. Progress on the comic is coming slowly, but surely.
I like the use of color. It's very dramatic.
Thanks. I do admit that I tend to draw object heads too frequently, but it's one of my favorite... "tropes" I suppose you could call it
Local object head enjoyer
That's one toned bug.
Gains from hunting the wild burger
How old is ladybug again?
College age, so late teens early twenties.
Good
"Oh nice and Legal"-Xavier Renegade angel
How old is Jack?
He reads as slightly younger to me, but I'm not sure.
I actually thought he was a high school student him and his friend looked at least 17.
He reads younger to you because he's set in the 2020s and Marley is set in the 2010s. So she's technically 10+ years older than him.
But if you want to do comic book time bobble, then they'd both be older than 19.
Hell, I'd even say they're both second year college students just because the first year of college requires too much set up in a story. Let their social lives already be established at the start of the story so changes to them can be the focus.
What you want is LMAC! and most anons who have arting abilities are focused on their own stuff.
I mean it would make sense if she was really around her late 20s and still looked young.
Hope she becomes a milf later.
It should be acceptable if they’re both in the same age area, it would be weird btw with time sets
Yeah he was recently created right? Like not even a couple years ago.
August 17th, 2021 is when JackHammer was brought into the threads.
It's been over two years.
I was close but by a month off
I agree with her only on the principle that there’s nothing ladybug-like left to her savage look
Just needs some polkadots!
Here's a drawing of Crackdown for the sake of it. His design is sort of inconsistent so I took some liberties and tried to make his mask look cool. Things like the shading and background are sort of lazy because I was getting tired of drawing by the time it was finished.
https://files.catbox.moe/gl1cnb.png
Sick.
Cool shit man, love it to bits.
Don't worry about design, the best thing about the casual garb is that he can wear pretty much anything.
Also, to whom it may concern: Issue 0 next thread
Probably.
>Arthur sometimes gets confused for someone with electricity manipulation powers because of his mask
allright you gays
How about we make a shitty multi artist comic where we go full ham on OC autism
something like the drawgay adventure threads on /b/ but a bit more longevity
I guess it'd be something like /qst/ but more open and instead of entirely being lore we'd actually draw and create some narrative
But would he try to sell you NFTs?
Can't wait for you guys to get to him.
Good early morning.
Did another pose of GG.
GG asleep. Originally she was supposed to have a back pack because she came right out of school but I didn't have time to draw it.
Here's Page 4 of Costume Caution finally. I don't think I'll have the next page next month sadly but I'll do something for Halloween.
