Exactly. It's because they're fricking parasites. We have an entire race that literally gets by with "WHITES GOTTA INCLUDE US IN EVERTYTHING THEY DO." They make no fricking effort whatsoever ebcause of their belief that everyone else owes it to them to carry them. Tey've been that way for a long time. Just look at South Africa where whites built a thriving prosperous civilization, and all blacks could do is say "YOU GOTTA INCLUDE US AND SHARE IT WITH US OR YOU'RE RACIST."

Whites can't have shit any more thanks to blacks and their eternal needy desire to be carried by whites, and in spite of that all blacks still do is constantly complain that they want more.

The solution short of some messy as shit 'ship them back to Africa/kill them all' thing is to dismantle Great Society-era policies. Black America is subsidised and therefore have no incentive to change and better themselves as a people.

    >he has become a part of the background, figuratively and literally. From how the show’s lighting fails him, as he disappears into many of the scene's night-time sequences
Kek. I sort of agree with it though. They obviously have no fricking clue what to do with Lucas. Going "frick it he plays basketball now they can all do that right?" is proof of that That's not racism though since they have no idea what to do with Mike, Will, Jonathan, Joyce or anyone who isn't currently having their lives fricked over by monsters from another world at that particular moment.

This is what happens when you have enough material for one season of a show so you just keep doing that one season over and over with some superficial changes here and there and hope nobody notices. And for the most part the normies don't notice. Apart from when they do and call it racist because the black kid is one of the many characters on the show that have no purpose or direction. They should have made this shit into an anthology series.

        Anonymous

They couldn't it got too popular. You can see each season was just the idea they had that was supposed to include other people(this one was supposed to be a exorcist homage/ripoff with the house), but they have to tie it to the kids still

I actually liked the reaching out scenes between Lucas and Max this season. And I'm literally a card carrying racist who viewed their paring in the past just as a way for israeli writers&netflix to push their interracial programming onto white women. But this season, idk, I really bought into Lucas having genuine feelings for the girl and being worried about her. His performance and dialogue literally did it for me. Imo, they are best ship in the show right. I don't see how ppl think this season did Lucas dirty. I never gave a frick about him until now.

Yeah but that's not really him being a character in his own right. That article even whines that the first time he's shown any importance in 4 seasons is just him supporting his girlfriend being a more important character than him. Granted they did a better job of selling that than they did with Mike and Eleven this seasons. Since the acting and writing in that was so bad it made them seem like a couple in the grips of a messy divorce.

          >Yeah but that's not really him being a character in his own right
The writers goal is to get the audience to give a shit about a character so they will devotee attention to the story and root for said char when they face big conflict. This season the writers achieved that for me with Lucas. I don't give a frick if he had a character arc or not. You can get viewers to identify with a character without having them go thru some pretentious inner journey.

I would saw Mike and the rest of the Van cast have it worse than Lucas. At least him and the others get to fight Not-Freddy Krueger.

And Eleven gets to get her powers back.

And Will’s Mom is in Russia.

The Van crew are just driving around.
