im not googling for that shit. copy paste the article here or frick off Black person.
people who have posted clickbait articles like this here for the passed 6 or so year have contributed just as much to their continued existence the same as people who actually buy into it, i hope you know that
Exactly. It's because they're fricking parasites. We have an entire race that literally gets by with "WHITES GOTTA INCLUDE US IN EVERTYTHING THEY DO." They make no fricking effort whatsoever ebcause of their belief that everyone else owes it to them to carry them. Tey've been that way for a long time. Just look at South Africa where whites built a thriving prosperous civilization, and all blacks could do is say "YOU GOTTA INCLUDE US AND SHARE IT WITH US OR YOU'RE RACIST."
Whites can't have shit any more thanks to blacks and their eternal needy desire to be carried by whites, and in spite of that all blacks still do is constantly complain that they want more.
The solution short of some messy as shit 'ship them back to Africa/kill them all' thing is to dismantle Great Society-era policies. Black America is subsidised and therefore have no incentive to change and better themselves as a people.
I almost bought into the he/they gender fluid / neutral crap. Glad I didn't. What a farce. I got enough shit to worry about. I don't need to nitpick about my pronouns.

>he has become a part of the background, figuratively and literally. From how the show’s lighting fails him, as he disappears into many of the scene's night-time sequences
Kek. I sort of agree with it though. They obviously have no fricking clue what to do with Lucas. Going "frick it he plays basketball now they can all do that right?" is proof of that That's not racism though since they have no idea what to do with Mike, Will, Jonathan, Joyce or anyone who isn't currently having their lives fricked over by monsters from another world at that particular moment.
This is what happens when you have enough material for one season of a show so you just keep doing that one season over and over with some superficial changes here and there and hope nobody notices. And for the most part the normies don't notice. Apart from when they do and call it racist because the black kid is one of the many characters on the show that have no purpose or direction. They should have made this shit into an anthology series.
They couldn't it got too popular. You can see each season was just the idea they had that was supposed to include other people(this one was supposed to be a exorcist homage/ripoff with the house), but they have to tie it to the kids still
I actually liked the reaching out scenes between Lucas and Max this season. And I'm literally a card carrying racist who viewed their paring in the past just as a way for israeli writers&netflix to push their interracial programming onto white women. But this season, idk, I really bought into Lucas having genuine feelings for the girl and being worried about her. His performance and dialogue literally did it for me. Imo, they are best ship in the show right. I don't see how ppl think this season did Lucas dirty. I never gave a frick about him until now.
Yeah but that's not really him being a character in his own right. That article even whines that the first time he's shown any importance in 4 seasons is just him supporting his girlfriend being a more important character than him. Granted they did a better job of selling that than they did with Mike and Eleven this seasons. Since the acting and writing in that was so bad it made them seem like a couple in the grips of a messy divorce.
>Yeah but that's not really him being a character in his own right
The writers goal is to get the audience to give a shit about a character so they will devotee attention to the story and root for said char when they face big conflict. This season the writers achieved that for me with Lucas. I don't give a frick if he had a character arc or not. You can get viewers to identify with a character without having them go thru some pretentious inner journey.
>Lucas probably has the most realistic depiction of a teen in ST4 >dealing with a break up from a girl he still loves who is dealing with PTSD >juggling staying loyal to your friends and the peer pressure of popularity >winds up making good decisions and anchoring the group together >sister is snarky know-it-all who notices the lights from the older kids
What's the fricking problem?
Film has been invaded by ~~*social studies*~~ graduates who think how a character is portrayed = what the director is trying to say about whatever demographic that character is a part of
>“I’m tired of being a loser,” he states, and Mike and Dustin look on at him with mild loathing. Because, of course, it would be unacceptable that a Black person was tired of being bullied
Fricking kek, what is the name for the mental disorder these people have?
>She is fun to watch at times, and that’s all to do with Priah Ferguson’s charisma
It's an Emperor's New Clothes situation with this ugly little negress. She's been sufferable in s4 but she's still an annoying totally le sassy kween. There is frick all special about the actress.
What's so funny about this is that it's clearly just your typical Cinemaphile incel in a black (female? not sure) body. Obsessed with race, always plays the victim, huge inferiority complex. Hilarious stuff.
I swear they succeeded in implementing the bullshit capitalization of black and non-capitalization of white overnight with nobody raising a peep over it, not even vocally anti-BLM types.
This reminds me of when i was in high school and I wrote an article called "The Insidious Racism of FIFA 17's Career Mode" as a joke, and the school paper actually ran it and my English teacher told the class it was "important work"
>black writers week
Isn't it homosexual week/month/year/century right now? I can't keep track of this shit anymore, its always some degeneracy celebration in Muttland
>even when the show panders to them they still complain
stop shitting up this board, incel trannies
Cope, seethe, and dilate in that order, my mentally ill brothers. Until next time, dudes.

>you give a spoiled toddler everything they want and they become good.
The more they get the more aggressive and bold they become.
This can't last without things getting ugly sooner than later
im not googling for that shit. copy paste the article here or frick off Black person.

I would saw Mike and the rest of the Van cast have it worse than Lucas. At least him and the others get to fight Not-Freddy Krueger.
And Eleven gets to get her powers back.
And Will’s Mom is in Russia.
The Van crew are just driving around.

U racist as hell
>and physically assaulted by racists like his girlfriend Max’s older brother, Billy.
Wait, Billy didn't like Lucas dating Max because he was black?
> character is an utter c**t.
> This is a bad thing because he is black.
Not because it's a bad thing to be a c**t?

Oh no no Black person bros we got too buck broken
Nice one, anon and dall-e

>post a neon burger and shake sign on your instagram
My god.
What's so funny about this is that it's clearly just your typical Cinemaphile incel in a black (female? not sure) body. Obsessed with race, always plays the victim, huge inferiority complex. Hilarious stuff.
>the burger neon sign
fricking perfect
whats in the Japan stuff folder? You got some JAV in there? Recommend me a good mom fricks son one where the mom has fat breasts.
USA must be the only country that gives so much shit about Black folk.
>Ebert would be pissed to have this on his site.
uh why? why are you putting words to a dead man's mouth?
I swear they succeeded in implementing the bullshit capitalization of black and non-capitalization of white overnight with nobody raising a peep over it, not even vocally anti-BLM types.
It's extremely sinister because of how subtle it was. It's another instance of the overton window shifting in front of our eyes
How did OP find this article though?
Isnt his shitty little sister like 100x more racist of a depiction though????
No, because she plays d&d even though no sassy blank woman in history has ever played d&d.
This reminds me of when i was in high school and I wrote an article called "The Insidious Racism of FIFA 17's Career Mode" as a joke, and the school paper actually ran it and my English teacher told the class it was "important work"
The people who write these things don't believe it any more than you did, it's literally just a grift
The show is finally drawing attention to the Lucas Max relationship,
She looks so uncomfortable, holy shit.
Black folk can all go to hell
>black writers week
Isn't it homosexual week/month/year/century right now? I can't keep track of this shit anymore, its always some degeneracy celebration in Muttland
Why would he be pissed? Besides having a Black wife, Ebert seemed to have no stated racial animosity.
I hate Black folk
A black guy and a ginger girl. Reminds me of an ex and her husband except reverse the genders
Remember when Ebert yelled at the homosexual white dude for complaining that Better Luck Tomorrow was insulting to Asians?
Article so bad even the generally liberal Ebert commentariat is crushing it.
