As a result the higher ups pulled the plug so that they wouldn't have to fund a mostly filler season and so the team making Owl House would actually have to focus on wrapping up the story. Although the finale was still a dumpster fire with Luz getting a Deviant art OC form and collector getting the talk no jutsu treatment like Andiras and The Diamonds.
