Is that why Savino's Lab and Powerpuff Savino were written and directed exactly like every other cartoon and comic he worked on? He could have done better, these two times, but didn't out of spite, and then when he made his own stuff or worked heavily on something, it just happened to be exactly like his seasons of those two because he was spiting.... himself?

I don't even like the Loud House or Kick Buttowski, and I think the For Brothers comic is the most mid thing ever created, but goddamn anon, Savino's seasons of Dexter were godawful. They're still distinctly Savino, but they feel exactly like him trying to sabotage a show out of spite, yes.
That golf episode in particular was asinine.

Marvel editorial resents Peter Parker's popularity and have actively been shitting up his character and comics with regressive writing and bad OCs for 20+ years. The main goal being to break down comics fans and audiences with bad writing for Peter until they're sick of him to make them crave terrible variant Spider-people. I don't personally count this as a conspiracy because of how blatant it is, but because a lot of Cinemaphile is in denial about it I decided it fits in this thread.

Makes sense to me. Peter Parker is probably the whitest character in the current cast of marvel superheroes and they really resent that they can't just slide him away in favor of Miles Morales without audience outrage.

Though even normies know what inclusive politics are very anti white. Just look at how they meme about the inevitable Hercules remake where everyone knows they'll probably want to change the main character to a black guy.

But there werent variant spider-people as a thing untill 2011, which would be 10 years in that.

        Anonymous

Variant spider people are just the natural evolution of the resentment. They started slowly by hiring guys who grew up with Peter and had autistic headcanons/ships they thought were right for the character. These same guys also can't handle continuity changes. So we end up with stuff like Gwen becoming a thing that's talked about more in the 2000s what with nostalgia books like Spider-Man blue. Suddenly there's more younger fans who hop on the idea that Gwen was Peter's true love and him and MJ shouldn't be together. I'm not going into extensive detail, but basically stupid fan ideas gaining traction over the years and essentially everyone involved with Spidey's peak era out of the picture by the 2000s have caused a massive fladerization of the character within pop culture and his own book.
Tl;Dr spider variants are one of many symptoms of a diseased mindset plaguing the comic

I think that may have been true up to the end of the ASM movies. But once they started pushing Spider-Gwen/Miles, you started seeing less younger fans pushing the idea of Gwen being Peter's true love.

Disney is going to use Marvel's rebooted Ultimate universe to act as an attempt at a "final nail in the coffin" for Peter's character, by having the Peter Parker character in that universe be associated with Pro-Trump Conservatism

This is probably gonna sound ridiculous but I think the real reason why Disney axed a full S3 of Owl house was because they perfectly predicted what the third season would amount to. The executives saw the absolute train wrecks of a final season that were StarVSEvil and Steven Universe in where most of the episodes were filler and shipping junk all while keeping the actual plot hostage until the last few episodes. As a result the higher ups pulled the plug so that they wouldn't have to fund a mostly filler season and so the team making Owl House would actually have to focus on wrapping up the story. Although the finale was still a dumpster fire with Luz getting a Deviant art OC form and collector getting the talk no jutsu treatment like Andiras and The Diamonds. Honestly it just feels like a lot of these lore heavy cartoons have a somewhat samey ending style with the suddenly redeemed villains, 2OP4u anime form for the protagonists in the last episode, and mostly pointless filler final seasons.

to ancient people, the underworld was a place you could go, they had a connection to the world that caused them to see fey in the waves, gods in the sky and even view concepts as enteties. somehow artistic visions of the divine and mystic forces have been lining up with neurosciences understanding of the human brain, even in cultures that didn't believe the brain too importaint like egypt.

I think Alex knew about Roiland hitting on teenagers and might've even engaged in that behavior himself-- but probably more in-person than via texts. I think Dana gradually discovered this behavior and it's why they silently broke up and barely acknowledged each other when they were constantly flaunting that they were dating on social media before. I also think it's why Alex went deathly silent on Twitter when Roiland got cancelled when he's been so vocal about other industry people getting caught for similar or worse reasons.
