The overuse of 3D took me out of it. If they had kept it dialed back (maybe just use it for Eris’s weird constellation creatures for thematic reasons), then it would’ve been great. I didn’t have an issue with the writing.

Jennifer Yuh Nelson's previous short has that uncanny, video game-esque look that bothered me with most of Love Death + Robots. For an animated anthology, they REALLY loved gravitating toward hyperrealism.

KFP1 and 2 are both fantastic, so it was understandably hard to follow up on eventually. KFP3 was decent though.
