Same but horror is the most high iq genre for aryan kings

It's clearly the horseshoe effect at play. Only sub 70iq morons and high functioning 140iq gigabrains enjoy horror. Every other person trashes it as unwatchable slop and goes back to loving the godfather, taxi driver, and harry potter.

One of my favorite parts of T1 was that Art felt like a "real guy". The flick opens with him putting on the costume and gearing up in some shitty apartment, he has to drag his tools around in a garbage bag. He carries a gun not because he wants to use it, but as a last-resort tool. Without any dialogue, he might have felt like a Jason or Myers. Supernatural. But instead he feels like some miserable psychopath who's been squatting in a shithole apartment planning to go on a killing spree for months. And this is his big night out.
This doesn't survive into the sequel, or even the end of the movie, which is a shame. That veneer of "realism", of being a flesh-and-blood monster instead of some spirit, gave the character a lot of appeal.

1 had the superior killer character, 2 was just far more bombastic visually and went out of it's way to overstay any welcome narratively. They both worked well for what they were.

Horror is marginally less moronic than super hero films. But yes, it is a genre for dregs.

I actually thought it was hilarious. For me personally it was SOVLful. Capital city slasher, main actress is 50 years old GILF, shidding and pissing, etc.

That's the genius thing about the Terrifier films is they do a great job blurring the line between fact and fiction, reality or fantasy. Sometimes Art comes across as a supernatural entity other times he seems like just a twisted, fricking psycho.
