Grounded neo noir thriller
Yasuke the black samurai
It would be hilarious if he spent the rest of his career doing nothing but making movies that offend Japan.
I think he should do a straight action movie see what he can cook up again
A thriller. Something compact, lean and layered
or maybe SMASHED and SLAMMED
something to do with mirrors, maybe alice in wonderland
maybe erotic thriller/comedy would be a challenge for him.
he would definitely need someone to help write the comedy but I think he could kill it
can his brother help him?
yeah, oppie was his dr. Strangelove so he should make horror like shining.
It'd be interesting to see him tackle the subject. Since he's one of the many talented directors who loves Kubrick and Interstellar was his 2001 homage, perhaps he'll do something along the lines of e-girlta or EWS
Erotic comedy sounds like his deal yes
Mouse Hunt 2
>high concept Scifi
Ugh, again?
Would love to see him finally make an adaptation of Rendezvous with Rama
french new wave
Remake pic rel. I'm no fan of remakes, but it's too good a story to be left the way it is.
Imagine this : Nolan and Tom Cruise. Whatever they make it would destroy the box office forever.
No producers want to put these 2 primadonas in the same room
he already worked with Di Caprio and RDJ.
Im thinking horror
He'll never go back to low budget, but I'd love to see him do something like Memento. Tight writing with an unraveling mystery.
it'll be something to do with mirrors being gates into alternate realities. screenshot this post
that seems too basic.
He said he has spent decades trying to figure out how mirrors work so this could be likely
starring Jaden Smith?
They already did this on WestWorld so if Jonah is writing the script you can count on it.
>Star Wars
imagine the seethe from the moronic fans
Capeshit or scifi. He can't into others.
it's going to be about robots screenshot this
Oppenheimer multiverse
JOI videos
anime live action adaptation
Meh hopefully he gets sucked into doing marvel for a while.
he said he's not doing any more capeshit.
dragon ball
christian bale as goku
michael caine as master roshi
cillian murphy as krillin
florence pugh as oolong
Keep doing historical/war films, Dunkirk and Oppenheimer were ironically his best.
He's fitting for Bond
He should do a raunchy teen comedy with a lot of sex, nudity, poop jokes, and swearing.
Fast XI
If he killed himself cinema would be saved
name 2 other directors currently working
that's what i thought
if he dies, cinema dies simple as
Attack on Titan 10-hour Epic. No CGI.
Inception sequel where they try to save Ariadne
Give him a budget of 10 million and tell him to do a thriller.
Unironically Tolkien film
Include the part where hes writing LoTR and its like montage of Tobey designing Spidey suit
Main star of course Cillian Murphy
Western
The moments in Oppenheimer that felt like a western were the most refreshing
here's an idea
how about a watchable film
In my opinion, nothing. Nolan is a hack.
Bond
What are the most american things? Take it and add some british touch Nolan style
Mcdonalds done so that leaves Colonel Sanders biopic KFC dramedy
something that isn't garbage for a change would be nice.
Universal should extend his deal and give him "Return of The Mummy" for this monster mobie series so we finally see Nolan and Cruise working together.
So far at least we will get more Cage Dracula. Or just give Nolan full blown modern take on book accurate Dracula.
>book accurate Dracula
too boring for a film
so far none of the films represented book atmosphere closely
Psychological horror. He clearly likes the topic and no currently working director has his skill at maintaining the tension for the entire length of a movie.
i dont think he'll get bond
do something fresh like scifi... but now that you mention it, seeing a medieval epic by nolan would be kino
comedy, isn't he tired making sci-dramas for well over 40 years
Something smaller, similar to Dunkirk. He's better when his movies are more contained and less bloated.
Dunkirk is one of his most boring and bland ones.
midwit takes
>Most boring and bland ones
I think you're confusing Dunkirk with Oppenheimer
Time for a kung fu classic from Nolan
As he’s obsessed with ww2 movies he should make Ded sno the prequel.
He hinted at Oppenheimer in Tenet, and he hinted at JFK in Oppenheimer…
please no JFK. He should make something original.
Wasn't it just a happy coincidence? Pattinson gave Nolan a book of Oppenheimer's speeches as a wrap up gift after they finished shooting Tenet. Nolan got interested and the rest is history.
I’ve got a feeling he’s going to make a crime/serial killer kino. Maybe he’ll incorporate horror themes into it.
He should make Oppenheimer II: Bomb's away!
He's gonna adapt Infinite Jest
He’s going to adapt Gravity’s Rainbow
loal
Super hero trilogy about the rise of kinoplex robert into the world of crime fighting in the streets of baltimore starring supporting cast that were on the wire
I know the back rooms are a meme but I think Nolan could genuinely pull it off. Horror mixed with some hard sci-fi (quantum mechanics, alternative realities), using real locations and set pieces
Bonus points, he can title it a single word, “LIMINAL” or something
jfc no, not nolan. We all know gaspar noe would make the best backrooms horror.
denis villeneuve if you wanted something more tame.
Alex Garland for normie bakcrooms.
Ari Astor
>gaspare noe backrooms
YOU FALL INTO ZE BACKRUM AND A BIG PEHNUS IS STARING YOU IN ZE FACE AND YOU HAVE TO CHOP OFF ZE PENIS AND RETURN TO THE WOMB AND KILL THE BIG SHITMONSTER WITH ZE BLOOD CUM SWORD
When Inception was still in development, all of the buzz and promotion and stuff surrounding the movie - they really lead with the whole "mind espionage" "STEALING ideas in dreams" aspect, which would be known as "Extraction" in the movie. But the movie was about "Inception". I was a little disappointed in the overall product just because I felt the premise of the movie was a big bait and switch. If Nolan did original sequels it would have been interesting to see a prequel of Inception where Cobb's crew JGL, Hardy, etc actually perform a big extraction.
The Cum Man
A dark, brooding, bone-shaking horror film directed, scripted, and shot by the acclaimed and cerebral visionary Hollywood filmmaker, Christopher Noland
In it, the aristocratic and aloof genius biological engineer, Reginald D Semenya, in a career-reviving performance by Kevin Bacon, inadvertently becomes made of cum after exposing himself to a high-intensity radiation laser-beam emitter called the 'Neogenic Recombinator' at his isolated gothic mansion above the city of New York
3 years later, a ragtag team of fresh-out-of-school private investigators decide to break into the manor to see if the rumours of Semenya's disappearance are true, where they rapidly descend into a gruesome, cum-filled labyrinth of diabolical traps and warped horrors from beyond humanity's ken
Snuff
Blade Runner 2059
Sum romance kino
Someone should gift him a book about the Czechoslovak Legion's revolt. It was like the Snowpiercer of 1918, with 60k armed dudes crossing the entire Russian empire, killing commies left and right, all to make their way back home.
He should adapt an Ayn Rand novel. Nolan's style is perfect for it
Hear me out:
also screencap, it's gonna be one of these:
-movie about the first humans
-movie about sci-fi serial killer
-movie about star wars (completely unrelated to everything in the franchise)
-movie about mirrors
-movie about Chuthulu
-movie about persia
What makes you so certain?
90 minute romantic thriller
