>watching films
>not just forming your opinion based off what everybody on Cinemaphile says
I don't have time to waste.
>imagine wasting your life at 1X
i watched belladonna of sadness at 4x, it was too damn slow
>watching films
>not just watching a Reaper review on Youtube to see how dogshit it is anyway

low IQ take OP
fricked up the link:
>Watching films
I just complain about them on Cinemaphile
Light speed
Correct. I'm a 0.75x film enthusiast. Gotta take time to appreciate every detail the filmmakers put their heart and soul into creating.
the films i have are on a usb and i plug it in my butt. well, i try
I'm 1x, but I watch multiple films at once so it averages out to 2x to 3x
I watch at 1.0 but I skip forward if it's a boring bit.
-5x rewind, VCR kinos only on my CRT.
>wasting longer than 2 minutes on a film
Imagine how the people who went to see 2001 at a theater felt sitting through this
a lot of them will be dead now, no doubt
uh, that webm is sped up, moron. in the theatre it took much longer.
You can''t expect me to watch that entire webm. My. Time. Has. Value.
The artists that made these films made them a certain way. Do you watch the Mona Lisa standing on you're head you lazy b***h
i watch all the latest films on my smartwatch. minus one was garbage btw godzilla looked puny
I just skip to the last 30 minutes of every movie, nothing ever happens before that point.
I watch any videos at 2x speed so it runs at 60fps
You're only running at 48 fps. You have to get those frames up.
you must be thinking in imperial fps
>go to youtube
>[insert title] explained
yup its Kino time

I watch Cutting Edge Engineering/lockpicking lawyer at 1.25 and any poojeet machining video at 2. Watching movies at a different speed doesn't make much sense
i piece the film together by Cinemaphile screen caps. apparently, drive ft goose is just an entire passenger pov
I literally do this. Haven't seen anything by Eggers, Todd Phillips, no Villanueve since prisoners, no marvel or sony since 2014. I have never watched Disney Wars or Hunger Games or so-called golden age TV since GOT went to shit, which was early in its run. Why bother? My Cinemaphile bros parse it for me. It's way better than mere piracy, I actively subvert the need for anyone to have watched those films. If there was any must-see imagery, it would certainly be all over Cinemaphile
went to a recent Nolan film once and it was beyond disastrous, never again
1.5-1.75 generally depending on how fast paced the movie is, slowed down to 1.5-1.25 for important scenes
There's only one tard here, O.P.
I am, but I watch 6 movies at once so it's fine.
1.0 if it looks like something cool's about to happen
Right arrow (forward skip 5 secs) if the director decided to jerk off
I doo doo that.
I read the summaries on Wikipedia and IMDB before watching so that I'm not too confused
I watch them at a comfortable 29.75X speed
I do every one of these
Ever since the accident, I'm a 0.75 Chad. My mind isn't working so fast these days.
>get brain damage
>see things in slow motion
based
He didn’t say that
huh, so this is brain damage?
>pleb: watching at 1.0 speed
>elevated: watching at 1.5
>enlighted: watching the trailer and reading the wikipedia plot synopsis
.0025
Only way to really inspect and appreciate each frame.
I should be done watching my current short movie sometime next year.
1x as intended by the director, editor, studio, etc.
Films are arranged pieces of art carefully placed for you to experience for a certain amount of time. Frick with that and you change the experience thus changing your interpretation. Why would you want a misinformed opinion?
>1.75x speed because I like the distorted sound/music (I'm slowly getting to 2.5x speed)
>skip boring talking scenes (I just want to see the cgi action)
>only watch movies on my phone and over the phone speaker
>always read the wikipedia summary before watching something to see if I like it
>pay a large monthly sum for all streaming services because piracy is theft
>only watch something if it has at least three BIPOC/LGBTQIAA++ actors, passes the bechdel test and has a BMWF romance
I do three of those
No you don’t.
No it isn’t.
I watch films at 2x speed with tiktoks and subway surfers on my other monitors.
I press the button with the two triangles when I want my moving pictures to change direction
Okay maybe you do that.
it makes watching them in powerpoint a lot easier
.75
I only watch movie recaps on YouTube. My favorite is mystery recapped
