Made me feel miserable. Not sure what Smith was thinking. Dante and Randall were content to run the Quickstop at the end of Clerks 2. In Clerks 3 Dantes wife is dead and Randall is having another existential crisis, then dies. It's just a miserable film all over.
Randall doesn't die, Dante does. Randall survives his heart attack so when Dante has one he thinks it's no big deal. Lo and behold, Dante dies from his and Randall cries at his funeral saying "Like you always used to say, you're not even supposed to be here today".
I called it years and years ago if they made a Clerks 3 they'd make Elias all satanic and shit.
I will say the only part that I liked is at the funeral when Randal said "you aren't even supposed to be here today" Probably the realist line in the movie.
>.... a drunk Dante finally confronts Randal for never respecting him or acknowledging his support over the years, and for forcing him to relive the loss of his wife and child. Suddenly, he collapses, suffering a heart attack as well. >Sometime after Dante's funeral, Blockchain arrives and excitedly reveals that the NFT kites sold out immediately, yielding a profit of a million dollars. Elias, who has become Randal's best friend in Dante's place, Randal tells Dante that he misses him, unknowingly joined by his friend's spirit. >During the credits, director Kevin Smith thanks the audience for watching the movie before reading some narration he cut from the final scene, where it is revealed that Randal continued to make movies until the age of 90, while still working at the Quick Stop.
clerks was always a self insert from the beginning, he worked at the store he filmed in. He failed at mainstream comedy so he focused on movies for his cult fan base.

You get a heart attack! And you get a heart attack! Everyone gets a heart attack!!!
>frickin horrible depressing smithtrash
yeah dont watch
I couldn't get 15 into Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. They look so old and the fricking daughter is there stinking up the place.
Truly the definition of dishonest filmmaking
The only good thing about this movie is that Dante dies in the end so we don't have to worry about a fourth movie.
Kevin Smith abandoned his generation to produce woke horseshit like this and he deserves to be forgotten.
>Kevin Smith's wife's self insert and kid dies
Pretty dark
did somebody stick kevin smith's brain in a blender or what the frick happened to him
clerks was always a self insert from the beginning, he worked at the store he filmed in. He failed at mainstream comedy so he focused on movies for his cult fan base.
Surviving a heart attack fricked him up.
Kevin Smith became unfunny by 2004
burton doesn't have the right to sound this snobbish with all the trash he's put out
Burton won
I couldn't get past the first 20 minutes.
