No one fricking cares. the show was the biggest show of all time and got so fricking bad, then go worse, then got worse some more, then ended on a total flop.
It was one of the fattest middle fingers to so many people
I doubt, aside from the most die hard fans, that anyone gives that much of a frick about the series in any format anymore. the people that do wanna read the rest of the books of been screaming at him to hurry the frick up for a decade now
honestly his arc is there but its just juvinile and gay >wienery kid that feels like he doesnt fit in to starks and is an ironborn at heart >goes to iron islands and tries to fit in there >finds out that ironborn are all homosexuals who hate him and he doesnt fit in there either >tries to prove himself by picking his side with the ironborn and disregarding his honor and his other family >gets punished for this and gets wiener cut off >does nothing for 4 seasons >eventually saves sansa >therefore is redeemed or something because he finally picked his 'true' family >sacrifices himself for others in his last moments and dies a hero or something idk
>[GoT question]?
Honestly, who in their right mind gives an absolute speck of a flying shit in this day and age? Just let it go, sputter out, and die already . . . much like the current umbrella trajectory of the STAR WARS franchise.
He's a dipshit who got really lucky. Robb Stark, Renly and Stannis would have executed him had they managed to take the throne. He's lucky it was the Lannisters and then he proceeds to betray them despite being his only real allies.
>He and Robb had fought many a heroic battle on these steps, slashing at one another with wooden swords. Good training, that; it brought home how hard it was to fight your way up a spiral stair against determined opposition. Ser Rodrik liked to say that one good man could hold a hundred, fighting down. >That was long ago, though. They were all dead now. Jory, old Ser Rodrik, Lord Eddard, Harwin and Hullen, Cayn and Desmond and Fat Tom, Alyn with his dreams of knighthood, Mikken who had given him his first real sword. Even Old Nan, like as not. >And Robb. Robb who had been more a brother to Theon than any son born of Balon Greyjoy’s loins. Murdered at the Red Wedding, butchered by the Freys. I should have been with him. Where was I? I should have died with him.
That, and the line from the show of him saying "my real father died in King's Landing" was him realizing that the Starks were more of a family to him than his actual blood relatives, and with it came regret and self loathing at his actions. He doesn't wish he could run away from Winterfell and the Boltons and live a happy life, he only wishes he could have died with the man that was like a brother to him.
I'm sure GRRM had something planned for him in the books but it's irrelevant now.
How is it irrelevant when the series is still not finished and coming out soon?
>coming out soon
Lmao he gave up 10 years ago lol.
George said he’s 1,100 pages in, even if he died today they’d still have enough content to publish at least Winds
Literally all he has shown us so far of winds are cut chapters from a dance with dragons. There is actually no evidence he has wrote anything new

You know who had an arc? Noah.
I mean, Jamie got a new golden hand. Maybe he gets a new metal wiener.
One of the best ones, if not the best.
He was a better Stark than any actual Stark.
