>gotta be in good shape >gotta do a lot of stunts and choreography
it's a combination of him getting older and the character eventually getting boring. let's be honest, his bond is rather bland, more bourne than bond, and no one paid attention to the overarching story of the series.
>no one paid attention to the overarching story of the series.
The overarching story of the series is haphazard. Casino Royale and QoS are very much connected (QoS requiring one to have seen and remember CR) however, Skyfall is its own thing, Spectre is messily grafted onto the CR-QoS story, and NTTD feels nothing like CR-QoS.
>OH NO YOU'RE TELLING ME I HAVE TO DO COOL SHIT AND GET PAID MILLIONS?? AHHH SAVE ME
No wonder Craig is a deeply closeted homosexual who would rather die than admit it but still makes it so obvious.
You can tell he would be such an insufferable, pretentious person to be around. He’s never once come across as a nice guy.
look up what the main actress of fricking Grey's Anatomy said about this >This dude needs a reality check.
Which is about all that needs to be said. He was living THE dream and then had the audacity to say this crap.
Probably a combination of the demands of the role, Craig never really caring about the character, and as some form of a bargaining position to get a higher salary.
True which is why Roger Moore was a gift. He loved life, he loved being positive and uplifting and did actual work into bettering the world (UNICEF ambassador) while Craig now just plays homosexuals (look up his IMBD, all his roles are gay guys)
Not to me. He seems like someone who just can't let go of the fact he's getting old and not the hip young guy he was and molded his career on. That Vodka commercial was embarrassing. Pierce would never.
Slashing his wrists is probably less likely to kill him than making another action film.
Guy got injured several times on set because he isn't Tom Cruise and is too old.
Tom Cruise should've been cast as James Bond. I'm not joking in the least. It's a role that's he's born for. Frick the accent or his height, he fits and they would've made endless money together with EON. Why do you think he makes MI movies? To live out his dream of being James Bond.
Obviously I meant back in the 2000's when they replaced Pierce. But even now, I'd take it. Anything over homosexual Craig or gays like this
What current young british actor actually looks like James bond like say, Pierce Brosnan? Because no one has actually looked as handsome and sophisticated as Pierce. Cavill is way too muscular, KickAss sounds like a girl and Tom Hardy is too short.

I've only seen Tenet and Twilight and he doesn't particularly strike me as someone that can come off as a sophisticated spy. He comes off as awkward and weird.
5-10 years ago a buff Dan Stevens would have nailed it. But as always, the older Bond always waits a bit too long to depart.
Pattinson of the younger candidates, but he seems like a guy who genuinely wants to do lots of different stuff and has already been the international heartthrob.
Yeah, Pattinson already has the Batman franchise to last him a couple of years, doesn't look like he would want to attach himself to another franchise for the next 10 years.
No one TRULY thinks this, not a single person on this godforsaken earth. It's Connery or Brosnan. Dalton and Moore have staunch fans but those two are the standard.

>I have to work hard for my 7 figure cheque
My heart bleeds for the poor actors. Truly the most hard done by class of people in the world.

what a coincidence, I'd rather he slash his wrists than play bond too!
You can tell he would be such an insufferable, pretentious person to be around. He’s never once come across as a nice guy.
British people take a sort of perverse pride in being rude and unlikeable.

he seems like a nice guy in interviews I've seen
Not to me. He seems like someone who just can't let go of the fact he's getting old and not the hip young guy he was and molded his career on. That Vodka commercial was embarrassing. Pierce would never.
Why not both?
He should've been Bond. Still assblasted 20 years later.
Being James Bond in the woke era had to be insufferable. The typical fans of 007 dont want to see an unattractive women take charge.
Every moment he was playing Bond was one where he wasn't banging Rachel Weisz.
Slashing his wrists is probably less likely to kill him than making another action film.

Never mind the fact that he's american or 5 feet tall, he's 61 years old.

Jamie Dornan? Tom Ellis? Richard Madden?
Patterson is perfect, but he will be too busy with Batman 2 when they want to film.
I've only seen Tenet and Twilight and he doesn't particularly strike me as someone that can come off as a sophisticated spy. He comes off as awkward and weird.
I like Patterson a lot but he is kind of twinkish. I imagine Bond to look a little more hardened
There is no one that's not a meme or gay. It's hopeless. At this point, just cast KickAss.

>CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES
>I WILL NOT PLAY JAMES BOND
>SUFFOCATION, NO BREATHING
>DON'T GIVE A FRICK IF THEY OFFER ME MILLIONS
He said that after wrapping up spectre fyi
he's said similar things after each. there's a "broken glass" one too.
Shame, cause Craig was the best Bond
