The Magic Conch episode. It's a scathing indictment of religions and cults. Throughout the entire episode, Squidward is punished for not giving into Spongebob and Patrick's delusions. He refuses to entertain the notion that a conch shell could save his life. Like Job in the eponymous book of Job, he suffers tribulations that typically befall non-believers. He is without food or companionship. All he receives from Spongebob and Patrick is scorn and dismissal. Until finally, at last, he is broken beyond measure and gives into the conch. But the conch refuses to give Squidward anything. He mistakenly thought that turning to the conch in desperation would save him. By that point, he was no longer an atheist, but he was deemed unworthy. The episode ends with the conch becoming apathetic to the plight of everyone, even its devout believers. Squidward, Patrick, Spongebob and the Park Ranger all do as the conch asks, "nothing." They sit in quiet likely to die from starvation.
do you mean when he breaks his butt and locks himself inside?
cartoon episodes that end in a live-action family turning off the TV in shame are always kino
4 and 5 have good episodes. However, the writers have started to flanderize the characters so SB becomes a dumb child, Patrick becomes a braindead butthole, Squidward becomes "I LE HATE EVERYTHING" etc. Don't listen to trannies who spread this hoax that "ACKHUALLY THE LATEST SEASONS ARE GOOD/NOT AS BAD", all seasons past 6 are just pure trash. Second movie is 6/10 and 3rd movie is goyslop.
even in S4 the adherence to "look, look at the gross" was obviously turned up hard. they kept up with that shit, even when family guy stopped doing jokes like "peters head being exploded like an AT-ST between two logs"
Yeah, I genuinely never understood the gross shit. Does anyone in the world find it funny? There were even some awful unintentional horror episodes like the Squid Baby and that fricked up episode about a monster pet that laid eggs. I can't imagine what it was like being Steven Hillenburg and watching your comedy sea life show for children be turned into some satanic fetish torture monster porn.
what i can't imagine is saying "yeah we're not doing 'spongebob babies' or anything", dying, and them immediately making 'spongebob babies' while your corpse is still warm
i honestly couldn't say. for the past 20 years or so, spongebob is usually on a tv somewhere but i never watched much of it. i've seen probably 10 episodes in total and i can't remember what they were about.
for me it's the sea bear episode.
love the slightly eerie atmosphere of it and how it builds up to the sea bear attack the entire episode. also ends on a funny punchline
Hash slinging slasher

SB-129
Wet Paint.
Agreed
Which one is that?
I like the storm one where they hole-up at SpongeBob’s house
>have cocoa, tea, play board games, play tic tac toe, have hot cocoa….
The one where Barnacle Boy becomes evil and they become the Fantastic 4
Great episode.
>Krakatoa
>mis appear
The one were sponge dies permanently and squiward cries
the kinoplex one or the pizza one
the paper
legitimately the most fun episode
underrated for sure
both that and idiot box are two sides of the same coin
Band geeks
idiot box
Shanghaied
This for me, although there are many worthy contenders
That episode where SB gets depressed and Sandy and Patrick are trying to help him. Some of the best absurdist humor on television.

Rock Bottom
frick bros how are there so many classic episodes?
every episode from seasons 1-3 are classics i don't think there's a single bad one
>what's the best spongebob episode?
>people mention loads of S2 and S3 episodes immediately
ah...
Season 1 has lots of good stuff
it does, but it's a bit weaker, and i'm just happy nobody is saying
>I LIKE THE CAMP CORAL EPISODE WHERE THEY FART
SpongeBob is old news. The Patrick star show is what generation alpha is watching and it's beautiful
This is bait, yes?
This show is cancer
moron.
I’m sorry lad. I only speak English and french. You should learn one of those. Sorry you’re brown 🙁
Are any of the seasons besides 1,2,3 and the first movie worth watching?
Some of 4 maybe
Season 4 has a handful of really good ones but otherwise nothing standout and you better stay as far away as possible from S5 and anything after it.
S4 has handsome squidward's episode which isn't too bad

For me its either the chocolate episode, opposite day or the one with Man Ray's tickle belt

the (first?) halloween one is comfy and all I can think of for the rest are just memes
also the one where sponge "adopts" the pet jellyfish and parties with it
for me it's the sea bear episode.
love the slightly eerie atmosphere of it and how it builds up to the sea bear attack the entire episode. also ends on a funny punchline
the one where patrick becomes a troony and everyone tries to date him
Chocolate with Nuts, but there are several acceptable answers
